The villa which sits in the niramaya complex really stands out vs the other resorts and hotels we passed when staying in Port Douglas. The villa is furnished to a super high standard and the gardens and foliage feels like I am in Bali. Had a lovely stay and perfect base to explore rainforest and GBR

Ambience is every bit as serene and private as it looks in the photos. We were blown away by the beautiful surrounds and resort feel of the villa - we felt like we had walked onto the set of White Lotus!! The property was well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Absolutely idyllic and easily one of the most gorgeous properties we've had the pleasure of staying at.

Relaxing Holiday Villa

Perfect

From the moment my adult children and myself stepped inside our villa we knew we had made the perfect choice.The layout of the bedrooms and living area was cleverly thought out. The tropical garden was stunning, the design offered complete privacy giving the feeling we were the only ones on the resort.A special shout out to our host Deborah, she was very helpful, made us feel welcome and non-intrusive. But most important of all was the compassion Deborah showed us in a personal matter and for that I am truly thankful.

Beautiful tropical escape

We have stayed at many resorts in Port Douglas and this was by far our favourite. The grounds at Niramaya are beautiful and the whole resort, including this villa are really well maintained. The beauty of this villa is having access to all the facilities and your own privacy. The villa was perfect - clean, really comfortable and well equipped. Our kids loved the private pool and the little pond with fish. The host was really flexible and responsive.

A perfect villa

We stayed for a week at Ambience@Niramaya and could not fault the villa. The villa was immaculately clean on our arrival. The layout of the villa was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. The three bedrooms all have ensuites and are arranged around an open courtyard in the middle of the villa. All of the rooms have air conditioning and fans and can be individually locked. The ensuite of the main bedroom is pure luxury The beds were very, very comfortable. As noted in other reviews the beds in the second and third bedrooms are quite low but this is not a problem for kids/teens. The main living area has a comfortable couch, dining area and very well equipped kitchen. There is a lovely outdoor bbq and dining area and a small pool. We requested the pool heater to be turned on and the pool was the perfect temperature for our kids on arrival. Our kids spent a lot of time in the pool and preferred it to the larger main resort pool as that one was not heated at all. The entire resort is stunning. Highly recommend Ambience @Niramaya. Communication from Debbie was great. We hope to stay again when we are next in Port Douglas.

Overall great stay

The villa is beautiful and having access to the resort facilities was great. Very clean, I hired baby equipment as recommended by Debbie which was delivered and picked up from the property - very convenient! The beds are quite low which was a slight issue for my mum travelling with us but didn’t deter too much from the stay. There’s a shuttle bus also into town and main restaurants for $7 which was great - no need for Ubers etc! If you prefer slightly warmer water in the pool recommend requesting the heater is on prior to arrival. Good to have the option either way :) Overal great stay and highly recommend.

The accommodation was great. However the low bed in master bedroom was difficult for us oldies. A chair in that room would help with putting on shoes! There was plenty of storage space.

Very relaxing

Enjoyed a very relaxing few days here. The private plunge pool was perfect size and the outdoor settings and aspect were lovely. Loved the “rain shower” in the bathroom.

Villa was exactly as described and pictured, location was ideal with it very peaceful and it is only a short drive to the main street in Port. Property manager Debbie was very easy to communicate with and made our holiday ease free 🙌🏼
