I am not one who usually writes reviews but I feel as tho this stay warrents one. The cabin itself is nice. The pool was a great feature and my kids enjoyed it. The cleanliness of the cabin was horrible. Their were brown colored smears on walls,light switches, and windows. It was either chocolate or feces and judging by the majority of the spattered brown marks were in the bathroom, im going with feces. Their were mouse droppings in the drawers of one of the dresser. The main bathtub/shower did not work. Used q-tips. The entrance to the house is undesirable and has you walk through tall grass and over A/C lines. Now I completely understand it's a rental and they see numerous families throughout the year and messes happen. I also understand we are in the woods and mice will find their ways into homes. I also understand that it rained and will grow more. I get it all. But what I dont understand is that we pay decent money to stay here and the cleanliness is horrible. We were given a point of contact incase their were any issues. We emailed them and received no response. If you're going to spend that much money, I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

Very Nice Pool

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The pool was clean and enjoyable for all of us. The cabin was clean but the beds were very hard. TVs didn’t really work and remote batteries were dead but no issues with WIFI. You can tell it’s been rented a lot just comparing the photos online to what was actually there. Backyard view was pretty but can’t see the mountains with the overgrown trees on the side of the cabin with all the windows. They do attract a lot of hummingbirds and butterflies that was peaceful to just sit and watch. The drive to the cabin wasn’t bad at all just watch pulling out of the driveway. Would book again but bring a pillow top for the mattresses. Recommend brining beach towels!

The cabin was lovely and many hours of enjoyment were spent in the pool by kids and adults alike.The TV in the master bedroom did not work but that wasn’t a big deal for usThe dishwasher worked It would’ve been nice to have more silverware. The top of the driveway needs work. We scraped the bottom of our cars every time we pulled out The shower in the second bathroom was frustrating because it was difficult to get the water warm

Friend trip

We had a large group of friends and kids. Cabin was very nice. Very clean. Huge pool that the kids loved so much, a little chilly but the kids don’t care. Would deff visit again. Had a lot of sleeping room, beds were very nice and clean, amazing pillows. Recommended!

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had plenty of room for the kids to play. The pool was the highlight. We hope to stay again in the future. The cabin itself was very clean and worth 5 stars. However, the pool area needed attention.

Family getaway

The property itself is beautiful. Location is beautiful. Cabin was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. No critters. Grill was clean. Stayed here with our family of 8. Cons-- Not enough towels (No pool towels either) - Heated pool stopped working after 2 days- No response from host when we reached outWal-Mart is about 25mins away. Highly recommend shopping BEFORE you arrive. (Especially before nightfall) You enter right off the hill edge and there is a dip on the entrance that will startle you. It gets really dark! All in all, wonderful location for a family getaway. Just make sure pool is working and you bring towels.

Smoky Mountains Cabin

So beautiful ! Kids loved the pool and I loved the views , fire pit area , and whirlpool tub. There was even a pac man game that entertained them! Gorgeous place- would definitely stay again.

Bad stay

I was emailed an entire list of what needed to be taken care of before we left the property from loading/unloading dishwasher to stripping the beds. (Which is fine)One of our beds was not stripped from the last guest, hair bands/ties were found in the bed. Dishwasher was full of dishes. There were limited towels for the group. Counters were dirty, ceiling fans were covered in dust! Beds are super hard. TVs didn’t work in the King Suite. One of the stove eyes didn’t work. The front door would not lock when we would leave the house. Just overall did not enjoy the stay.

Our stay was very enjoyable and easy to access. The home had starter things available to us for our stay. The furniture and bedding was very comfortable. The jet tub was nice after a long day. We had a few issues with the TV's not working during our stay as well as our garbage disposable stopped working during our stay which ended up making the dishwasher not drain for the load we had to do due to the sink not being available. Overall the stay was nice just a few things that we had to work around for our stay.

WE LOVED IT!

You can tell that they are in the middle of some renovation, but it was wonderful. We loved the location. The price was great. The pool was excellent. If there was advice we would give is to split the big walk-in closet in half and make one side a half-bath. A third toilet would be great!

Red Cedar Splash

The property and the home were very clean. Communication with the property management was difficult until the week of our stay. The week of and once we arrived, communication was timely! We enjoyed our stay and it was great property for a group with children.

Stayed here 3 years ago and everything was great .. booked it again this year horrible experience first off when we walked in the fridge was pulled back from the wall we found out later that night why .. roaches were all out in kitchen we killed several and had to go threw our bags when we left to make sure we didnt bring any home with us .. the tvs in the 2 small bedsrooms didnt work theres not enuff utensils for cooking .. and the outside grill was broken literally the legs fell off .. while we were trying to use it .. i try to over look somethings but for the amount of money spent i dont want to have to worry about carrying roaches home the only positive thing i can say is the pool was nice ..do better

Great space, nice views, great pool

My wife and I enjoyed Red Cedar Splash immensely. The space was very clean and very large. We had plenty of opportunities to spread out. We both found the bed extremely comfortable and erred in not looking at the mattress brand before checking out, as we are in the market for a new mattress. The pool was amazing. The outside temps hit about 80 while we were there and the pool enclosure was very warm and comfortable for swimming. It rained one day and was cloudy most of the day. The enclosure was warm enough to swim, but it was a tad cool, however kids definitely wouldn't have minded the temps. It was awesome and clean. The only downside to this house was that the kitchen was a little short on cooking utensils. I would bring a potholder and any turner/tongs/pans that you plan to use. We would definitely come back though. It was a great rental.

Spring Break

Awesome stay! Spring break getaway with the family. Spacious cabin. Pool is amazing and is nice that it is covered, due to some rainy days we had. Plenty of parking and space for kids to play. Would definitely return!

Amazing Cabin

This cabin was amazing. It was just what our family needed at the time. We all loved that everything was on 1 level and accessible for everybody there. The pool was amazing and the heater really works. It was my children’s 6 & 4 year olds favorite part of the whole trip. You are about 15/20 minutes out from everything in town so just make sure to adjust your time if you plan things in town.

Spring break fun

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location worked well as it’s close enough to everything but far enough out that you’re not overwhelmed with the constant traffic. We had to contact the management company mid trip due to the storms and they were very responsive. We would recommend to friends and family to stay here and would book again in the future.

Loved the cabin!!!

The cabin was everything we could have ask for! Very spacious and beautiful inside and outside. My only suggestion would be that they stock the kitchen a little better with pot holders (there were non), pots and pans. We will definitely return to this cabin!

Great but couldn’t use the pool.

We really loved the cabin. There was more than enough room so I hate to say anything bad but the main reason we got the cabin was for the heated pool. We done that last year with a cabin that had a heated pool and the grandbabies loved being able to swim even at that time of year. But the heater wasn’t turned on before arriving so it was ice cold and as big as the pool was couldn’t of been heated in the short time we were there. I had another cabin picked out that was cheaper but spent more to get the heated pool so was disappointed that we didn’t get to swim at all. Other than that everything was great. Had GPS luckily as it is a bit off on different roads but as long as you have google maps or something like that you won’t have an issue. Didn’t have any issues gaining access as the code worked the first try so that was nice. Would book it again but only in the summer so we can actually use the pool.
