This was our second visit to the River Song cabin and it was even better than the first. The hosts are always so available and accommodating. And the sheets on the bed are the softest ever. Can’t wait to return!

The River Song Cottage was perfect! I loved sitting on our patio and listen to the stream; it was so peaceful. The kitchen had every little gadget you would need for your stay. The cottage was comfy, clean, quiet, and close to everything we wanted to do. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond to any question we had. The River Song Cottage is a great stay!

Perfect getaway!

Our stay here was wonderful. The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and it's located a short, picturesque walk from all the amenities at Sundance resort. We loved everything about it and look forward to coming back for another visit. I highly recommend!

My sister, my dogs and I had a wonderful stay. Close to hiking trails, and within walking distance to everything at Sundance Resort. We immediately booked again for a couple weeks out. We loved it!

Super and perfect for a couple

Very nice authentic cabin located only a short walk from the lift, tickets and restaurants. It is small and is perfect for a couple but would be tight with anymore than one small child. Hot tub is on front porch facing parking and main walk path. Overall a great place and the location is hard to beat.

I loved my stay at the River Song Cottage. It was a sweet cottage and everything worked well. I really enjoyed the sound of the river, and its a very short walk to the Sundance Resort. Unparalleled hospitality

Even though my trip was short, this cabin instantly felt like home. The owners were more attentive and thoughtful than I could have ever imagined. And even though there was no face to face contact, the hospitality extended to me (and my dogs) far exceeded my expectations. I have already scheduled a return trip to River Song Cabin!

Great little cottage

Positives:Location-on the grounds of Sundance resort. Cute and quaint cabin vibe. Helpful and responsive property management-they responded and came to fix an issue we had with the heat within 30mins. Negatives: You can hear the guests who share the attached apartment(and they can hear you). The main bathroom with the shower is downstairs while the master bedroom is upstairs.

Thank you for sharing Courtney. We are sorry to hear you had a noisy neighbor. Hearing anyone next door isn't a complaint we hear very often so hopefully it wasn't too much of an annoyance. It is a duplex style setup with the two cottages side by side sharing one wall. The bedroom has a 1/2 bath attached and this is all shared in the listing details so hopefully this wasn't a surprise for you. We hope the convenience of being able to walk to everything in the Sundance Village helped offset any negatives. This has been a very popular spot for our guests over the years. We have free standing private cabins in Sundance as well if you are looking for more privacy if we can tempt you back for another stay next time! Thanks

Birthday Magic

My husband and I spend his birthday weekend in Sundance every year. This was our first year at this cabin. This little home is so charming! All decorated for Christmas even with a small live tree. Just magic. The perfect setting for some down time and a little snowshoeing. The beds are perfect and everything was clean and exactly as stated. We loved our time here. We will for sure be back!

Peaceful Summer Cottage Stay

My wife and I had an amazing time at the River Song cottage. The glories of Sundance do not need to be mentioned, but the proximity and ease of access to all of those could not have been more convenient. We were able to easily walk to all of the restaurants, hikes, shops etc. right out of the cottage's front door. Although we were expecting warm weather in September, it was actually quite frigid and our host did an amazing job of pivoting and getting the included fireplace inside the living room up and running so we could be comfortable throughout our stay. The bed in the master bedroom also deserves to be mentioned as it is extremely comfortable. As consistent travelers, it's always a worry to what quality you will be sleeping on but my wife and I were blown away by the quality of the mattress and woke up refreshed and recharged for another adventurous day each night! After seeing the property in the summer, we are now convinced we will need to go back and experience the Winter in Sundance and we plan to do it at no other place than the River Song Cottage.

Lovely River Song

This cottage is a cozy retreat. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is expertly managed with precise communication. Every question we had was answered quickly and to our satisfaction. The downstairs was smaller than it looks it the picture, and the kitchen, while very well equipped, is tiny. The bedroom upstairs was lovely with a high beam ceiling and beautiful views. The property was not as isolated as we expected; however, it was not misrepresented, just our expectations differed from reality. Very convenient to Sundance Resort. Everything was lovely.

Welcome to Paradise

We loved our stay in this cottage. The location is absolutely perfect. It is far enough from the resort that you don't feel like you are staying at the resort - but it is just a short walk on a paved trail to the ski slopes and restaurants. The cottage is absolutely perfect. It is well maintained and the perfect size for two or three people. When we checked in the fireplace was already going and downstairs kitchen and family room area was very comfortable and cozy. The upstairs bedroom and loft have great views of the Sundance woods and little trails and wild turkeys. We would 100% stay there again. The host Stewart Mountain Lodging was very responsive and professional and made sure all of our needs were met.

We are locals who live and work (and play) in Sundance year round. That means we are at your beck and call whenever a need arises. No figuring it out on you own or chasing down a homeowner in case something goes amiss.

By that, we mean us. The Stewart Family homesteaded and settled the Sundance area over 100 years ago. So we know a thing or two about the place and we'd love to share.
