Overview

About the property

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6

Come stay with us! You will love your stay on our farm, in a cute little log cabin farm house. Just 7 miles north of Rexburg, there is plenty to do and see. We are within 70 miles of some of Idaho's most stunning attractions. Yellowstone Park, Island Park, Jackson Hole WY, Mesa Falls, and Henry's Lake to name a few. If you want to stay a little closer, BYU-I, the Rexburg LDS Temple, Yellowstone bear world, and the Saint Anthony sand dunes are all minutes away.

Our cabin faces the Tetons, and the views are spectacular. A nice cool breeze in the evenings you can sit for hours and relax. During the summer months, you can also try your fishing skills in our fully stocked pond. What a blast to land a 2 to 4 pound rainbow! (please ask for details on this activity)

We are located on six acres, in rural farming community. We grow pumpkins for our Pumpkin patch, sweet corn, and asparagus, we then sell to the farmer down the road. If your visiting in the summer months you can enjoy delicious fresh produce, within a minutes' walk.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms, each with pillow top queen beds , a full bathroom, and extra sleeping space in the loft with a futon, and convertible sofa. We do have a nice queen blow up mattress and several sleeping bags available upon request. The kitchen is fully stocked with service for 8, flour, sugar, and spices.

About Troy Richards

5 years ago, our blended family of 8, (2 boys and 6 girls!) were looking for a change. We noticed our daughters were growing up and attracting the boys. Knowing that we weren't quite ready (if one ever is) for that kind of attention, we started looking for far off places to hide them. Our search led us back near my husbands birthtown of Parker, ID. We stumbled upon this home and property and knew we had found " the place".

We grow sweet corn, asparagus, and strawberries for the produce stand down the street. Our main crop is pumpkins for the fall season. We have people come out and pick their fall pumpkins right from the field.

We have all enjoyed meeting people from all over, and would love to meet you too!

Troy Richards purchased this cabin in 2017

Why Troy Richards chose St Anthony

We love living here, and have created a place where everyone likes to visit. Summer evenings are spent on the porch, by the campfire, or fly fishing out of our pond. The winters are beautiful too, watching the deer, dig up our last pumpkins or corn, and the occasional moose family passing through.

What makes this cabin unique

Our guest house is in a quiet rural setting, although we do have neighbors, it's nothing like living in the city. Come enjoy the country life, drop a line in the pond, roast a dog, or just sit and listen to crickets and frogs.

This is the cutestđź’•? cabin ever!! So adorably decorated. Loved that it is on a farm. Loved the friendly farm dog that greeted us when we pulled in yesterday. Loved the fireplace glowing and porch lights on when we pulled in late Thursday night.

Such a fun little cabin on a cute farm. It made me feel like I was home!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place to stay during BYUI’s graduation! We arrived late and they had the cabin all warmed up with the lights on! We walked into a cute little Christmas tree! So fun! We will definitely be booking this cabin again! We have family in Rexburg and really it only took us about 15 mins to get where we needed to go. We only came with adults but I have a feeling my kiddos would love this place! We need to plan a summer visit next time! Thanks again to Troy and Nikki!

Charming cabin

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It is located on a real working farm, and when we visited, pumpkins were growing all around! We really enjoyed the Franklin stove and upstairs loft. Even though it is in a rural area, the cabin has all of the modern amenities including new appliances, satellite TV and wifi. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back.

Cute, quiet, and close to the dunes.

  • 5 of 5

I can't get over how cute and comfortable this little house is! I absolutely love the décor and the environment, I even made a knew friend. A friendly fetch loving yellow lab came over with his stick and insisted on playing :-D We'll definitely be staying here again (just wished dogs were allowed) when we come back for a dunes trip.
