Welcome to "SeaJoy". This freshly upgraded duplex resides in an established community (circa 1980's), and is quietly tucked away in a prime location of Mount Pleasant right between Sullivans Island beach (8 min drive) and downtown Charleston (12 min drive). If you're familiar with Charleston, you will have heard of Shem Creek. Shem Creek is one of the most iconic row of bars and restaurants in all of Charleston with a beautiful harbor view; SeaJoy is only 1.5 miles from Shem Creek! This home features granite counter tops, brand new furniture (couch, beds, tables, etc), and WiFi. The backyard has a gas grill, privacy fence, a nice sitting area in the middle, and a pond view.
This home is completely decked out with a full kitchen (plates, cups, cookware), linens, towels, a gas grill outside and everything you need for a fun and comfortable Charleston vacation. This home has a king and queen bed sleeping four people as well as a queen sized sleeper sofa with a 5" memory foam mattress in the living room that can sleep two. Upstairs there is a hallway connecting the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own sink and toilet but the bathtub is shared. There is also a half bath downstairs. A convenient combination lock on the door means a very easy check in.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

Check in was so easy. The place was spotless and in a great location. The host was quick to reapond. Loved having coffee on the back deck with the view of the pond. The neighbors were very welcoming too.

We love this home!

This is our second stay at Seajoy and we had a fabulous time again. This home is exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our visit. Robert and Tyler are very helpful and responded quickly when needed for a small issue. Great location close to lots of different food options. This is now our go-to rental in the Charleston area and can't wait to return!

SEWE weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend going to SEWE in downtown Charleston. This home is an easy location to getting into downtown easily. After a long day at SEWE we were able to come back to the house and relax on the deck.

The perfect stay!

This cute home was fabulous. Very clean, nice furniture and appliances, comfy and homey. The location was great...close to dining and beach activities. We went shark tooth hunting and found some beautiful treasures. Robert was a great host and check-in/check-out was easy. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!

Loved this place.. nice quiet neighborhood.. perfect location.. close to everything we wanted to do.. went to concert at Riverfront Park .. Shem Creek and hung out at Charleston sports bar for Sunday football.. house was perfect for two couples .. love the Jack and Jill bathroom .. back deck was so nice to sit out and enjoy with nice lighting and cute pond.. would definitely stay again! Host was super responsive as well.

Sea Joy definitely brought us JOY. This was the best! We arrived just in time to check in at 4 pm. The home was freshly cleaned. It was immaculate. It was exactly as described. Great communication. Just a text away .Answers back quickly. The back porch was the best. You sit in a rocker and look out onto a little pond with a beautiful fountain. Watch the squirrels play in the morning and listened to the frogs at night. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors friendly. Great restaurants everywhere, our favorite was LoLa You felt like you far away. Yet it, was 10-20 min from everything. The North Charleston Coliseum,20 min Old South Carriage company for a history tour, Carolina Belle Harbor cruise, and South Carolina Aquarium, 15 min. Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. 10 min. Sulivan Island and Isle of Palm beaches 10 mi. We got to do all these great things and come home to rest. This is the best place to stay! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Expectations

The location and property exceeded our expectations. We walked into a very well kept home with lots of extra touches that made it even more welcoming. The most important item-the mattress- along with wonderful pillows allowed us to wake up refreshed every morning. We brought our bikes along for this trip. Perfect location to ride down to the beach (3 miles) for the sunrise or to the Arthur Ravenel bridge (5 miles) for a long walk or more riding. We were surrounded by an eclectic array of restaurants within a 6 mile radius. Overall a wonderful stay from beginning to end.

Worth Booking

I must say that this is the cleanest and cutest place to stay. The area is beautiful. It is close to everything, grocery stores, restaurants, Shems Creek and Sullivan's Island which are our favorite areas to visit. I'm so happy that I found this place and we'll definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so amazing!

Cozy, nice location

Overall, we had a very nice stay. While the building and neighborhood are older, the inside, while not luxurious is updated nicely and clean. It's fairly small but functional and comfortable for 4 people. I wouldn't recommend it for more adults than that though. Two would end up on the pull out sofa, which is not comfortable (as to be expected). It was not ideal for or daughter and son-in-law who had a 14 month old. He would not stay asleep with them in the same room, so they ended up the aforementioned pull out. Honestly, had I known that I would have booked somewhere with a third bedroom. This, of course, is not on the facility. It's very nice. It just did not work for us logistically. But it's a good value in a great location to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and other activities.
