Hermosa casa rodeada de hermosos paisajes. Disfrutarás pasar el tiempo en esta cabaña de 1 dormitorio y 1 baño, justo en el centro de James Island. Desde el momento en que ingresa al camino de entrada, notará la atención al detalle. ¡Prepara tus maletas para un viaje a Charleston! La propiedad está totalmente equipada con una cocina completa, lavadora / secadora, sábanas, toallas. Además, hay papel higiénico y toallas de papel. Durante su estancia en esta propiedad, podrá disfrutar del patio con una mesa de comedor para 4 personas. También hay dos cómodas sillas para tomar su café de la mañana en el porche. Well furnished, supplied and super clean. Not a lot of storage/space for our stuff. Could use some hooks for our coats, etc.Lovely setting. We enjoyed the screen porch and back yard.Perfect for the two of us.Location was ideal for us and we would definitely rent again.Thank you!

Everything about the bungalow was wonderful. I was seeking a peaceful relaxing home and the bungalow provided that. The enclosed patio was nice to eat breakfast and read my book. The bed was extremely comfortable, there were many cozy blankets to keep warm which was greatly appreciated. The layout was great and all you needed was there including laundry and the shower was great! Getting around was easy, I utilized Lyft and got to experience downtown, mt pleasant, and folly. 10/10 recommend coming to the bungalow if you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed.

This was a lovely little bungalow. That was just perfect for the two of us for a long weekend while we were in town for our grandson’s soccer tournament. Our hosts were amazing and their backyard is like a little fairy land. The bungalow had everything we needed And the screen porch was especially delightful! The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing and we were able to access all of our streaming services on the smart TV. The kitchen was well equipped, and even had basic condiments, coffee, filters, olive oil, sugar, etc.

This was our second stay in under a year at the James Island bungalow, and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first time. Very quiet, comfortably furnished, and with all the amenities that a couple could need, the bungalow is conveniently located for events at The Citadel, to the sites, galleries, and restaurants in the historic downtown, and to Folly Beach, all with a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. This VRBO will continue to a go-to place for us in the future.

Everything in the VRBO description is spot on. The pictures shown are exact, except the couch in the porch was different, but comfortable. The quiet surroundings, the gorgeous landscape, the quaint little spots to sit around. We didn't make a fire or use the BBQ or outdoor shower, but they were there and ready for use, just as described. We did spend our evenings in the screened in porch to decompress and relax after busy days exploring the Charleston area. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom shower was great (rain shower, massage setting, etc.). We used the park pass that was included when we went to Folly Beach. We did a lot of exploring and having a vehicle is helpful, but this VRBO was centrally located, so it took about the same time to get anywhere we wanted to go. When you go, make sure to check out Folly Beach, Boone Hall Plantation, Palmetto Carriage tours, Patriot's Point Naval Museum, Fort Sumter, the Angel Oak Tree, Waterfront Park, White Point Garden, Charleston City Market, King Street in Charleston for all kinds of shopping and food (Halls Chophouse, Millers All Day, Carmella's, and 82 Queen were our 5 Stars places to eat). There is a lot to see and do. We'll be back!

Perfection

We basically had our own small house on the property with a separate driveway. Thigh the main house was right there you didn't notice with all the landscaping. A nice bed, open kitchen/living room and a separate bathroom with a washer and dryer which is awesome for multiple trips to the beach. Screened. In porch was nice but it was well over 115 degrees at times with the heat index so we utilized it more in the evenings. We did happen to briefly meet the owners one evening to say hi and were told to immediately let them know if we needed anything. Perfect for a couple as it only has one bed but I'd recommend all day.

Fantastic getaway

This was our third visit here, and, again, it did not disappoint. The home is so lovely and quaint. The kitchen is stocked with what you need, and the screened in porch is perfect for early morning coffee or evening wine. The beauty of the homeowners garden is visible from all points of the porch. This year we were invited to pick blueberries and blackberries from the yard, which were perfect additions to our meals! The home is located just a few minutes from Folly beach and about 20 from downtown Charleston. Its perfect!! We cannot say enough about our wonderful stay in this perfect home!!

Perfect Little Hideaway!

This little bungalow was absolutely perfect for us! It was comfy and cozy, with a nice cool and clean inside and a super sweet screened in porch with a hammock that was very hard to get out of. Our hosts were amazing, they are close enough to be there if you need them (or the awesome berries they dropped on the porch) but it never felt like they were tooooooo close. The location is great- easy access to the city and the beach without all of the crazy tourist hubbub 24/7. We had the best time and would definitely come back!

Perfect bungalow for 2

You can't beat the location of this rental. We were not more than 15 to 30 minutes max to everything we chose to do and see. The little bungalow is just adorable and the bed slept better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. After a day at the beach, the shower was like being at a spa! Having chairs and towels provided for us to use for the beach was an appreciated cost saving treat!! This rental is stocked with anything you should need or could possibly forget to pack.The host and her husband were the sweetest and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the screened in porch watching the squirrels play and listening to the birds and napping on the comfy couch in the afternoons! If we return to the area this is marked as my preferred spot to stay.Thank you again for your hospitality and sharing such an amazing little place to escape and enjoy!!

Everything You Need

Great place to stay. Everything you need is already there. The only suggestion would be to clear the vegetation from the driveway. The branches did run against our vehicle when entering or exiting the bungelo.

would do it again

If we return to Charleston this is the first property I would try to book. Beautiful property great host and good location. Our modem for the tv died and had to be replaced.To us no big deal as we were not there to watch tv. Returned at the end of the day to find a bottle of wine and a basket of fresh salad greens from the garden! Furthermore they insisted on compensating our cost for the inconvenience. This property was everything we expected and more. We give this one five stars!

Great stay!

This place was great. It was very clean and very well stocked. Perfect for a couple. The location is perfect, can get to Charleston in about 15 mins and Folly beach in 10. Me and my girlfriend were able to go and explore and see so much but not have to drive a lot and that’s nice. The garden in the backyard is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. The screened in porch was a relaxing spot to end long days of exploring downtown Charleston and walking the magnolia(a must do) and cypress gardens. Would definitely stay here again… oh and the shower totally lives up to the hype!

David and Jo have traveled the world and still enjoy getting on the road as often as possible. With their worldly knowledge and also experience owning and operating a restaurant in NY they pay close attention to the details and are amazing at providing the best possible experience for their guests. Between the 3 of us we love what we do and love to open up Folly A Deux to guests. We want you all to come experience CHS just the way you should- at ease. This property is very tranquil and provides a home away from home experience with all of the bells and whistles. We hope you will come and enjoy the bungalow!

Centrally located on James Island. You are 10 minutes to historic Charleston and only 15 minutes to the closest beach, Folly Beach! Excellent restaurants nearby and plenty of grocery stores too! The home comes with a park pass that will gain you access to the local parks. There is one about 2 miles away and also one on Folly Beach. Safe neighborhood. Great for walking. Lovely screened in porch for relaxing, playing a game, or just enjoying the outdoor temps!
