Strawberry Field Stilt House es una escapada aislada de 1 dormitorio / 1 baño completo ubicada en cinco acres rurales en Southern Plant City a lo largo de State Road 60. La casa es de 555 pies cuadrados con todos los principales electrodomésticos de tamaño completo y pisos de porcelana pulida. La construcción de la casa fue para obtener la mejor vista posible del campo de fresas, de modo que la mayoría de las ventanas de la casa miraran hacia el este. The property had a beautiful view of the strawberry fields and it was well appointed and beautiful on the inside. We were even greeted by a beautiful bowl of strawberries and some fresh water. Excellent additions like soaps, shampoo and everything else you could wish for.

Beautiful, cozy, and just the right size for 2 people.Mr. Joe was very attentive to any questions we had which were very few.We left the cabin the way we found it, laundry done bed remade with clean sheets and dishes done.We want to come back again.If you choose this cabin you will not be disappointed.

Loved this house!

Gorgeous property! Loved all of the plants and the sitting areas. The house was clean and perfect for us and our pets. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place, just do not use the water!

Peaceful property. Clean other than a few dead bugs in the sink and on the window sills, but then it is the country so that is to be expected. Great location and very nice small home. But one huge ongoing issue that others mention as well. The stench from the water! It's bad. Very bad. I suffered through my daily rotten egg sulfer smelling shower. My guest could not and she chose to not shower the 3 days we were here. This really needs to be fixed, as prior reviews point out as well. This is how a 5 star experience becomes a 2 star. reviews point out.

Perfect location!

This unique home was right next to strawberry fields. It was quiet and peaceful, nestled among the trees. The bed was so comfortable and it had everything we needed! Host was always quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Charming and Restful Retreat - Uniquely Magical

Difficult to do this justice. The experience was a wonder and delight. Perfectly located between Tampa and Orlando. We had high expectations and they were exceeded in almost every way.

Restorative; Clean and Serene

We could not ask for more. For us, this is a perfect home away from home. Our pup loved sunning himself at the balcony Joe is a fabulous host, and cares greatly about the land and history of the area.

Never Disappointed

We have stayed at Joe’s place multiple times now and it is one of our favorite spots. It is always clean and welcoming, my wife loves that it overlooks the strawberry field and is very peaceful. For anyone looking for a nice and clean place with a friendly and responsive host look no further…just don’t book on our days off 😋

Absolutely wonderful!!!!!

I loved the location, and it was far enough away from the road. The restaurants and stores were just 10 minutes away. My dogs and I had a great time there especially on the balcony in the evenings. The place was bigger than expected, and the kitchen was actually stocked with spices and seasonings. (I left a couple of my favorites) and some condiments in the frige. The place looked like it was built yesterday and was very clean. I even swept and mopped before I left. You may lose internet in the rain, but the TV will take a "wireless display" from your phone if you need it. I met Joe, and he's a great easy going guy. I would DEFINITELY stay there again!!!!!!

Impeccable

For some coming to the Tampa area may mean staying in the hustle and bustle of downtown or the wild side at the beach but we were looking for serenity so chose this charming bungalow on stilts. It sits aside a large expanse of strawberry fields and even though the strawberries are out of season the fields were abloom with sun hemp as far as the eye could see. The garden surrounding the cottage was a beautiful tropical oasis and the various outdoor seating areas charming. It’s tucked away amongst the trees and plantings, truly secluded. The inside was exceptionally clean ( and I mean exceptional, kudos to whomever does the housekeeping!) and thoughtfully appointed. There were extra blankets, towels and bed linens. The king size bed (which is a must have for us!) was particularly comfortable as well as the memory foam pillows. The linens were soft and pill free thank God! Everything you’d need is in the kitchen, cooking utensils, dishes and spices as well! Check in and out was seamless. Only items in the cons list was internet speed, fine for streaming but could be an issue if you’re needing to work while staying. Also, there’s well water with its distinct sulphur odor. We’re Florida natives so we’re somewhat accustomed but thought it was worth a mention. Overall the stay still rated a 10/10 and was absolutely darling in every way and so very peaceful!

Peaceful

I was just in the area to visit my boyfriend for a short 2 night stay and was blown away with this property. It was peaceful, quiet and romantic. It was remote enough for privacy but not so remote that I had trouble getting anything delivered. I would definitely like to stay here again as soon as possible!! Everytime I stay in PC, I fall more and more in love.

Delightful

The home was just as pictured, and extremely clean. The owner also left a few water bottles in the fridge, and a boxed bar of soap in the bathroom for me, which I felt was such a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, and so were the pillows!
