Clean and close to the beach

This cabin was perfect for our family. It's a short walk to the public and private beach. All instructions were clear. The cabin was clean, just as advertised.

Great location

This cabin is super close to Chambers Landing. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well-stocked with pots and pans. Management very responsive. Nice, new BBQ.

No frills but solid

The house is okay. Lighting is horrible. There is a funky smell in the kitchen cabinets (maybe a dead animal). No beach chairs or accessories to use… also the house pops and creeks like crazy! Deck and grill are great, table and couches accommodate many people. Beds and pillows are good!

So good!

We booked this property for my brother’s family of 4 and my family of 4. We were a bit concerned we needed more space, but we were wrong. This house is efficiently designed, the bed linens were 10/10 and I am picky! The location was perfect. What an absolute gem of a find. Looking forward to booking again. Oh! And the unsung hero of the property…the mud room. We used this as cooler/food storage over flow and it worked amazingly. We pack like food might be scarce so the space was appreciated.

Location beats everything else

Pros: the neighborhood and location trumps any negative point below. Proximity to the pool, beach, market, town, is perfection. However there are a few things everyone should be aware of when staying at this rental (listed below)Cons:- Super cheap/thin toilet paper- Glass shards found on the patio- Many basic things missing from the kitchen including: oven mitts, wine glasses, scissors, steak knives- Beds are VERY (painfully) firm- Sparking on bare trap - could have caused a fire

Great stay on the west shore of Lake Tahoe

Great location in Homewood on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. The host was great at communicating with us. Our family of 8 was able to stay here comfortably. We were there mid-July and by the afternoon the cabin does get warm not having A/C. They have box fans that helped, especially when we put them in the windows at night to bring in the cool air. Nice perk is that access to a private HOA beach, pool, and pickleball courts comes with the property. Bring your own tennis and pickleball racquets if you want to play because there aren't any available to use at the cabin. Would also be nice if paddleboards were a part of the rental, but we knew we would need to bring our own so that's not necessarily a negative, just something to be aware of if you choose to stay here.

Location is great with use of Chambers Landing private beach and pool a huge plus for us! Communication with host was great-very responsive at all hours. Beds were comfortable. House could use some upkeep. Most windows did not have screens. Window in downstairs bathroom cracked and no curtain on window so it felt like others could see in. Dim/poor lighting throughout.

Great Stay

Great stay. Walking distance to Chambers Landing. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate but we still had fun at the bar and grill. Overall older house but comfortable.

Cute Cabin

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this great cabin. It is in such an ideal location, and you bet we walked down to the beach and pool everyday. We enjoyed the trails right in the neighborhood for hiking and running. The house is so cozy, and we felt very at home! Plenty of room for all of us to stay as there are so many beds. It's a great home base while in Tahoe! Can't recommend it enough.

Fun small cottage

Pros is that it’s part of Chambers Landing, great private community with awesome amenities. The surrounding property around home is super nice and you have partial view of lake. Place is nice but since it’s roughly 1300 sq ft, it’s better suited for a part of 5 or less. Also, no fault to the owners, neighbors leave their dogs off of leash so there was a lot of dog poop littered throughout property. Overall, a great spot!

Cozy stay in great location

Very clean and cozy cabin about 3 min drive from Homewood. Was perfect for 2 couples and a toddler although plenty of room bed-wise for more. I think the house would feel a bit cramped if all beds were full, but fine if you are spending the day outside. Great linens and towels, well stocked. Nice amenities - laundry, TV, fireplace, etc. Very easy check in and manager was readily available if needed!
