Super relaxing

  • 5 of 5

What a cute and comfortable cottage! We needed a quiet relaxing getaway and this place delivered! I am sure it gets busier and louder in the summer. Just note the bathroom is tiny, but the kitchen is quite large for a lake cottage. Perfect for two or three people. It snowed 3 if the 5 days we we're here but we didn't care. Lots to do even in the off season. We are already planning our next trip to the cottage. Maybe we will bring our grandson next time.

Overall good stay

  • 3 of 5

Overall good place to crash for a few nights. Decor is very interesting and inviting. However, there is a queen bed and a twin bed. Somewhere on the listing it says there is a double bed, but there is not. Also be sure to bring queen sized sheets and pillow cases because they were not provided. There is also no internet, even though the listing says so.

Overall pretty good stay :)

Owner's Response: Hi, Linens are not provided, the smaller bed is a single as it reads and Basic cable is provided. We did as a courtesy provide bed sheets for the smaller bed.

Beautiful spot!

  • 5 of 5

This is an adorable cottage in a nice location. You walk a little bit down the road and up a path to the beautiful bike path/causeway that overlooks the lake on both sides. We walked it everyday and saw amazing sunsets. There is a nice charcoal grill and we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit which has a lake view as the cottage sits up high across the road. The area is wonderful with Burlington close by and the scenery of Grand Isle and North and South Hero. The owners/managers are very nice and responsive to your needs. I would only suggest the addition of a little microwave next to the stove for reheating coffee etc. We love the area and hope to go back there in the future.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comments. As residents ourselves, Pam and I not only appreciate the special retreat we call Mills Point, we are also blessed to be able to share our rental cottage with guests such as yourselves. It is our goal that the cottage in addition to this enchanting area provide you with a restful and refreshing visit. We are delighted your stay was a pleasant one. Albert

A comfortable rustic cabin near the water.

  • 4 of 5

This property is good for those wanting to bike or boat/kayak. There is a small rocky swim area nearby. Sheet with b arch access points was not accurate. A quiet, restful neighborhood.

We love this cottage!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I have been coming to Albert's and Pam's cottage for the past 2 years during Brewfest. It's nice to have the option of staying less than 1 week and it fits our needs perfectly. It's quaint, cozy and welcoming . The fire pit is great and the view of the lake and causeway is awesome. It isn't on the water but we don't care..it's quiet and so close to the bike path. It's easy to get to Burlington (~ 15 minutes) and Winooski (next town over) is becoming a fun place for food and brews! The nearby farm stands are convenient and keep our kitchen well stocked (did I mention the homemade pies?!). As for the owners, they are good people who want you to enjoy their property and are available if you have any problems or questions. We hope to continue our visits for many years to come!

It has been over 8 years, I have been coming to Vermont every year with my friends. always love staying here.

owner Al is one of the awesome & friendly person ever i met. He not only arrange for special requirements but also he gave us personal tour & guidance to local beaches and town attractions.

living in your house we felt like never wanna leave and just keep looking @ lake Champlain. location is so close to Burlington city that 5-10 mins we were able to hop back to the city.

once again keep up the great work guys and we look forward to come back in early fall or this summer!!

Sincerly,

Shri
