Welcome to the View Finder at Tannery Flats. This newly renovated, minimalist-style home offers a luxurious, cozy retreat that has been thoughtfully designed for comfort, style, and functionality. Skip going out, stay in, and cook entire meals in the fully stocked kitchen or on the shared National Forest-style grill. Soak in the mountain views over a cup of coffee or tea from our shared deck. End the night watching the endless flames dance around our community gas firepit in premium chairs.

Location was perfect for access to downtown Johnson City. Property was well furnished and even though smaller than expected, it worked well for our needs on the trip.

Location was perfect

This apartment was the perfect location for quick access to my training and quaint spots to eat. It was the perfect spot to return to each night with easy parking and a comfortable bed.

Weekend get a way

Great for a getaway. Way better than a hotel room and the price is very affordable. I would highly recommend or a weekend getaway or even business accommodation.

Great location, short walk to restaurants, breweries, and a nice public park. Cute place, small but well designed. Clean, comfortable bed, will stay again next time I'm in Johnson City!

This is an awsome little place. I work in sales and service the tri cities. This apartment is in the middle of my territory and so convenient. It's really clean, and much better than any hotel. I look forward to the next visit here.

Convenient Location

Perfect for a weekend getaway! The apartment was nicely decorated and had all the basics covered. The one thing that was disappointing was that the bedroom windows did not have curtains. The bright streetlight outside lit up the bedroom and made it challenging to sleep.

When we arrived everything looked nice and as expected. Although we had a problem with blowout from the air conditioner we contacted the property manager and we’re given the option of a free upgrade nearby. They solved our problem quickly and the other property was also clean and nice.

Trials and Tribulations

Let me first say that the apartment is aesthetically pleasing! Whoever does the turnover for them is amazing because there wasn't a fingerprint in sight! Oh and the "extras" that they provide gives an eye for detail that you don't find with other rentals. However, those things lulled me into a false sense of comfortability because after a couple of days things took a turn. Here are the issues that I encountered. Day 1- incorrect door code. Day 3 - internet outage Day 4 - Power outage and the batteries in the apt door key pad died and it was 24hrs before we realized that the apt wasn't locking Days 5-7: consistent internet outages (I think its on some sort of programmed cutoff), daily early morning sirens (right by the bedroom window so luck sleeping past 7AM), stomping from the upstairs neighbor (starts around 4:45AM and last about 30 mins), constant slamming of the front entrance door that causes the mirror to shake on the wall. I thought it would eventually fall off, Other than that, I guess you're good.

Conveniently located. Clean. Well equipped and surprisingly quiet despite being near I-26. Super cute. The property manger is very responsive especially if anything comes up. While this property isn’t quite as nice as one of their other ones I stayed in during a past visit, it is definitely above average for the price. If I had to offer constructive feedback it would be to include in the resource book that running the microwave and air fryer at the same time will trip the breaker (and where the breaker box is located) and to have the cleaning crew look under things because I found a couple leftovers from prior tenants (part of a child’s toy, socks under the bed, and a lid under the vanity), but overall I’d definitely recommend staying in any of this company’s properties.

Convenient, Clean, & Cool!

My partner and I decided last minute to take a trip to Johnson City as the area has seen a lot of growth recently. We found this listing, and decided to spend a relaxing weekend in the area. Upon arrival, we were shocked with how close this location was to everything: downtown, restaurants, breweries, and shopping. We could easily walk to almost anything that we wanted to do! Once we entered the place, we were greeted by a cozy, modern, and efficient space. There was a Smart TV that we could use to log into all of our streaming services, a nice comfortable couch to relax on, and a record player with some cool vinyls to listen to. The kitchen wasn’t very large at all, but it had everything we would need for our stay including a Keurig coffee maker with plenty of K-Cups and a full sized refrigerator. The bedroom was plenty big enough for the both of us, and included the most comfortable mattress that I’ve ever slept on in any previous short term rental! Lastly, the bathroom was plenty big enough for the both of us, with a shower that boasted great water pressure and included a nice large shower head that was a great surprise after our 3 hour trip to get there. All in all, we had an amazing time, and we will be sure to stop back by the next time we are in the area. We will also make sure that any friends or family of ours that decide to make a trip to Johnson City will know to stay here as well!

Great Property

My girlfriend and I booked this for the Christmas holiday. It was small, but had everything we needed! It was very clean and a super nice little place. Communication with Jason and Brent was phenomenal. We will definitely stay here again next time we come back to Johnson City.

We loved the small but functional space! It’s a great location being walking distance to restaurants

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Johnson City in this Vrbo! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. We were happy we could bring our dog and be walking distance to great downtown parks/bars/restaurants! The check in process was super easy to park and get in for the night. The Vrbo itself was clean and the living room couch area was cozy. We enjoyed the patio, ac, record player and the French press coffee. The on site laundry was super convenient as well. Definitely recommend!
