North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire unit (entire second floor of a two story duplex) including living room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms (TV's in every bedroom), 3 baths, laundry, parking, shared backyard, and a fully gated pool that will be shared with the downstairs residents in the adjacent unit (Note: pool can only be heated from October to February). Note this home is a duplex and the entire bottom is occupied by other residents while the entire upper floor is the space being offered.

*Important* Please park only on the side of the house that is for this property and in the back of the house in the designated spot labeled "2". The spot labeled "3" is an open spot that is first come first serve. Any cars found parked on the neighbor's side of the parking area or in the grass will be fined and towed.

This beautiful new construction in Mid-City is the perfect spot for your stay in New Orleans! With all the amenities you could ask for, you can enjoy a stress-free visit to New Orleans!

We are a 5 minute walk to the Streetcar for an under 10 minute ride to the French Quarter and Downtown! Alternatively, the Lafitte Greenway (a bike path to the French Quarter!) is just a few blocks away with bike rentals on the way there!

**Normal check-in time is 4pm on the arrival date. For check-in's from 1pm - 4:00pm, it's an extra $50 to have an extra cleaner assist with servicing the property. Check-in's before 1pm would require booking the previous night at a much discounted rate. Contact host for details.

**We require a separate Rental Agreement and Virtual Check-in forms to be e-signed and completed after your booking.

**Please review the house rules located in the rental agreement prior to booking.

**Refunds for cancellations made within the allowed cancellation period will be issued minus the Stripe processing fee.

**Exterior cameras present for verification of guest occupancy.

**Important* Please park only on the side of the house that is for this property and in the back of the house in the designated spot labeled "2". **Please note that per city permit laws, this home has an internal noise monitoring device. This is not a recording device, and it only monitors noise levels. Placement of this device was made mandatory by the city.

Great stay in NOLA

House was clean, well equipped, and had plenty of space for our group. Short walk to the street car or easy to Uber anywhere! Grocery stores nearby too. Had a great time staying here!

Stay in New Orleans

Didn't like the neighborhood, NO Tvs in the bed rroms, one shiwer drain very slow and the first bathroom water Didn't get hot in the sinks Overall was ni pleased with my stay. This is the first time that I had any problems whole stay at a VRBO property.

Great stay in mid-city!

My group of eight enjoyed our stay. We were in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and were close enough to walk back from the Superdome. The property is also a short Uber ride to the French Quarter and Garden District. There's room to park two cars behind the house, which was much preferable to street parking. We found that we had to space out our showers in order for everybody to have hot water, so larger groups should keep that in mind. Also worth noting is that there's no closet in the master bedroom. Communication with the property manager was excellent, and we received prompt responses to a couple of questions that we had. Overall we liked the property and would consider staying again due to cleanliness and location.

Nice Place to Stay

I visited New Orleans for the Essence Festival 2022 with 3 of my friends and 2 of my family members (all females). We were VERY comfortable and enjoyed our stay in the rental. We were able to walk to tons of local bars and eateries. The canal trolley was about 6 easy walkable blocks as well as the super dome. I would highly recommend staying at this location. We didn’t have any issues with the rental, however the check in codes were not communicated in a timely manner and we spend 30 minutes trying to obtain the entrance codes. I am not sure if the codes were suppose to be texted or emailed from the property manager, who I tried to reach unsuccessfully. The owner got back to me within 10 minutes with everything I needed to gain entry. We made unforgettable memories and are already looking forward to next year!!

This home was absolutely perfect! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. It had everything we needed, plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and a whole lot of tranquilty. It's conveniently located to many restaurants and attractions around New Orleans. It was perfect, clean, cozy and spacious for everyone. This space exceeded our expectations and we didn't want to leave the home. Sedrick is an amazing host and we look forward to staying here again.
