What makes this house unique

This is a million dollar setting. The deck overhangs the river and it will immediately give you a sense of calming. We have 480 feet of riverfront and are next door to forest service land. Lots of room to stretch. Not to mention a unique Sandy Beach on the rivers edge.

Awesome place!

  • 5 of 5

The house and property were amazing. We had planned on going to Leavenworth for a day trip. But once we got to the cabin we didn't end up going anywhere. It was too hard to leave. Great place for a friends weekend.

Highly recommend Danielle Lodge!

  • 4 of 5

My family (12 of us) stayed at Danielle Lodge the first weekend in August. We absolutely loved it! It was extremely clean. The kitchen was fully stocked for items needed for meals. The beds were very comfortable. The large kitchen table was a hit for playing games and enough seating for all of us. The grounds were immaculate, even the BBQ was clean. The deck had two patio tables which overlooked the river. My family so enjoyed listening to the sounds of the river and the beautiful views. Our only complaint is the $35 dollar per day per pet fee. I am just wondering if a flat fee could be offered. We ended up paying over $500 to have our pets stay there. Other than that, we so enjoyed our stay and would recommend this beautiful lodge.

Great Place right on the river

  • 5 of 5

Overall this is a great place, and other reviewers really hit the pro's and con's to it right on the head, so I recommend reading them to get a better idea.

Our biggest problem that we'd have to take like 1/4 of a star away for is that the A/C really isn't adequate for the size of the cabin in the hot summer months. It's just two window units, no central A/C. They do have fans throughout, which helps, but it still stays pretty warm, especially upstairs. I recommend bringing extra fans if it's going to be in the 90's or 100's, especially if you're sleeping upstairs, and sleep with the bedroom doors open.

But everything else is thought out very well, it's a beautiful space, and even though there's three other cabins on the property this one seems very private. This cabin is the closest to the beach, which is small but totally adequate. The cold river is a nice reprieve from the hot sun. They now provide some camping chairs at the river as well as some sand toys. The deck is large and accommodates a lot of people. It has a large grill that worked well, but obviously needed to be cleaned out as previous drippings made it flame up often. There is a large area with a sandbox and a huge plane climb on toy for kids, as well as ladder ball and horseshoe pits. We didn't use the hot tub because it was too hot outside.

We had 5 adults and 1 kid, and it was more than enough space for us. I'd image 8 people would be comfortable, 12 is cozy, and any more is sardines. Unless you're groups are used to cramming into rooms together. The rooms aren't terribly big, and they have no dressers.

Overall though, a wonderful 4 days, and we will definitely be back!

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was comfortable, and had enough room for 8 adults, 2 kids and 2 infants. We loved that there was a Christmas tree set up prior to our arrival as we celebrated an early holiday with family from out of town. The kitchen was roomy and had nice pots and pans, knives could have been sharper and for some reason every vrbo I've stayed at loves glass cutting boards. We had a fire going most of our stay and appreciated the large amount of firewood available. The hot tub was fantastic and quite an experience sitting in it while there was snow all around. Overall, it was a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous setting!
