Treehouse by the Sea

Spacious 4 bedroom home built in 1920 catering for up to 8 people. The updated home has a distinctive and unique tree trunk facade, sweeping wide front verandahs, leadlight entrance door, high ceilings, is beautifully decorated, has a charming outdoor area and very is clean. Very large lounge room with free Netflix and laptop work station and fully equipped kitchen. An extremely safe and lovely area and neighbourhood. Walking distance to Grange and Henley beaches, close to public transport and local eateries. Short drive to airport, the City and West Lakes shopping mall and cinema complex. Take a morning or evening walk along the beach, pop into the “Coffee Journey” for a coffee or brunch, book dinner at the popular Thai “Superstitious” Pizza, chicken shop and Vietnamese eateries also within walking distance. Bus stop just outside your front door step and train station just a short walk away. Local park with creek, playground, basketball key and hoop and BBQ and picnic facilities. After your full day of sight seeing, swimming, shopping or eating come home and take a long soak in the beautiful antique claw foot bathtub in the rustic style bathroom and then relax on the back verandah with some nibbles and wine under the beautiful fairy lights.

The house for perfect for us, four women, we ate out most evenings but the kitchen is well equipped. We cooked breakfast most mornings. Location is great, short walk to beach and cafes.Definitely stay again when in Adelaide.

What a lovely surprise! Not only did the Tree House meet our expectations, it easily surpassed them. With the location soclose to a stunning beach, the house beautifully and functionally decorated with plenty of spaces for our group of five to relax. The outdoor undercover space had a lovely beachside resort vibe and even on a warm sunny, the pergola provided just the right amount of sun protection. We all found this home so very relaxing the perfect sanctuary after the hustle and bustle of our wonderful Womad festival adventure.Thankyou Anne, your the best!

Great location near the beach

We were in Adelaide for a basketball carnival and the location, near the beach for a relaxing walk inbetween games, was lovely. Anna has everything that’s needed in the house and it was very comfortable. Anna was very responsive in communication which made it easy for a late checkin on a holiday weekend.

We had a wonderful time right by the beach with kids and Anna managed anything we required immediately and communicated superbly. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a place close to the beach and wanting a place from home.

Wonderful safe location for visiting the beach and city. Parking was easy. Only one small shower. We found the beds uncomfortable. Good facilities for washing and drying clothes. The outside seating was lovely for relaxing.

Treehouse is full of charm

Spacious and homely

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treehouse on Grange. Anna has thought of everything to make it feel comfortable and homely. The location was better than expected. Beautiful house in fabulous location

Spent the week leading up to Christmas in this property with my family. The house is beautifully decorated with fascinating features throughout. Wonderful location close to beach, bus and train line (just 20 minutes into the city!). Fabulous eateries only a short walk in each direction (Henley and Grange). Hosts were lovely and very informative.

House to suit everyone!

We were delighted to have such a comfortable house with plenty of room. Great beds, spacious living room, kitchen and outdoor room suited a family like ours and we would also not hesitate to return as a couple. Relaxing beach holiday.

We loved our stay at Treehouse by the sea. It's quite a spacious house with everything you need. The host Anna was really easy to communicate with and also left us some yummy treats on arrival which was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed having dinner sitting in the courtyard and the day bed outside for reading or a relaxing nap. The house is walking distance (5 minutes) to The Grange beach and around 10 minutes to the Henley beach restaurants and shops. The only thing it is on quite a busy street and the traffic can be loud. There is also no driveway and the street parking out the front has a bike lane between 7 - 9am, so you need to move your car to a side street to avoid a fine.

Perfect home in a perfect spot by the beach.

Perfect house that felt so open and uncluttered. Just by the beach and major roads for easy access. Surprised how quiet it was despite being on Grange Rd. House kept cool even in the Adelaide heat. Owner so helpful with booking and checkin. Wish we could have stayed all summer long.
