Hi Dustin, Thanks for your good feedback. The AC is equipped with an overflow control switch to avoid water leak. When it gets activated, I call my own maintenance company to unclog the circuit, but still keep the control switch on. Florida is very humid and when the balcony door is left open while the the AC is kept on, it accumulates water and eventually leaks. This is a typical problem in all Florida. I will stress out that point in the info pamphlet that I gave you and have the guests contact me directly to fix the problem. I am glad you enjoyed the place overall and I will be happy to host you again.

Thanks for your feedback. I am really sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, I was made aware of the balcony railings change 4 days before your arrival and cancelling your rental at the last minute would be more damaging for you as you were already on your way, and last minute rental in Miami at this time would be 3 times the price you paid. For the drain clogging and ceiling damage, it happened with the previous renter. As soon as you reported it, I had a maintenance technician come quickly and fix it. Unfortunately some tenants do not care much and do not report problems. They do not properly clean the bathtub. Also, they keep the balcony door open while the conditioning is still on max. This results in water condensation/leaking and ruining the ceiling. The ceiling has since been repaired. I did understand the impact on you and I offered you a compensation of $200 plus 3 free nights for your next rental. Again, I am really sorry and I look forward to keep a good relationship with all my guests. *** Update (2022-08-31). Please be aware that the condo was recently renovated and I will be happy to host you again at a preferential rate.

I am glad to hear that you found the condo as advertised, with an easy access to the pool and beach, and a fantastic ocean and city view on the balcony. Also, I am really sorry to hear that you kept the AC functioning at all time, when there are in fact two switches nearby, one for the fan (Low, Medium, High) and a second one to turn it ON or OFF. I wish you had reported it to me or to the front desk to avoid enduring the problem. I will certainly make it clear on the guest Information paper to avoid future issues. I am also sad to hear that you got items stolen from your car. I hope that you will be reimbursed by your car insurance, but I also agree with you that the hotel and their valet service hold a certain responsibility.
