Wow!
We have a WCU student that couldn’t come hone for Christmas because of a work schedule so we decided to go to her and rented this cabin - what a great decision! This place is incredible.
First, we had 3 vehicles, 2 of which were a 2001 Corolla and a minivan. We had no trouble at all accessing this cabin. The road and driveway are well-maintained. Plus, there was flat area in front that easily accommodates 3 cars with enough space to easily turn around when leaving.
The pictures are misleading - the rooms are bigger and condition much nicer than can be seen online! We were so surprised when we entered! Given we were there for Christmas, we brought all of our gifts for one another, a tree, and a stocking holder stand. There was still plenty of room for my husband, myself, our 4 kids (ages 9-19), and our 100lb lab to navigate through the living room and sit together as well.
We had gifts from the big guy up North that needed to be hidden too, and this place had plenty of hiding spots! We were easily able to execute the needed work on Christmas Eve to deliver all of the excitement and surprise Christmas morning ... what a relief!
The location of this cabin is just incredible. This is a developing area with all the modern conveniences and amenities of grocery stores and restraints less than 2 minutes from the front door of this place, yet this cabin has all the darkness, quiet, and privacy expected from a mountain cabin. If I hadn’t experienced it myself, I wouldn’t believe it. Just the coolest experience to be in the hustle and bustle of a growing area, and 30 seconds after turning on the road leading to this cabin you’re in a totally different environment that is remote, quiet, and dark.
We had an issue on Christmas and I sent an email rather then call or text anyone because I in no way expected a response. Regardless, I received a very concerned and apologetic text message from Scott offering an alternative, and the next day I received a follow-up message from Jennifer. To say I was blown-away at the response and concern is an understatement. Incredible service to say the least.
The cabin is clean, bed are comfortable, rooms are cozy, towels are thick and fluffy, and the location is just incredible! I anticipated a lot of work when we decided to go somewhere new for the holidays and it ended up being such an incredible experience. I couldn’t be happier with the cabin, place, and experience!
