J'adore ce quartier calme assez proche pour aller à pied à la ville, à la plage, au terrain de jeux du coin des enfants ou au sentier Van Buren. En même temps assez loin pour passer un moment paisible dans la grande cour arrière clôturée. Jouez à la piscine au sous-sol ou au ping-pong dans le garage. Marcher un demi-mile jusqu'à la plage ou la ville. Apportez votre propre vélo ou hop un fourni et explorez les sentiers Van Buren ou Kal Haven. Jouez à des jeux de société en famille après un repas à la grande table à manger.
Location à la semaine uniquement pendant la saison estivale de mi-juin à août.

This place was perfect for our stay. Exactly as advertised. Host was responsive and easy to communicate with. I loved the big dining table for doing puzzles when we were not out and about. Our pup loved the fenced yard. The stairs to go in and out to the backyard were a little unexpected (I might have missed them in the listing, or I might just be a bigger baby about stairs than most people), that would be the only (slight!) negative. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent Stay

I highly recommend this house. Our family had a great time and used the provided bikes every day. It’s a great location in South Haven that we all really enjoyed. My children also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong tables.

This property has everything you need (and then some!). Conveniently located to town and the beach. A great house for a family vacation get away.

Nice home, best suited for families

Stayed here with some friends for an event at the race track nearby. Tons of small beds and plenty to do. (Games, pool table, bicycles, ect) Would recommend to families with several kids more so than a group of buddies for the track.

Great location and my dog was so happy!

Nice, quiet neighborhood close to blue stairs, Kid's Park, and downtown. The fenced in double lot yard was great for our dog! This was our second time staying here and hopefully will be able to do so again next year.

Great place for kids

Although the house is not large, we really enjoyed that there were so many different areas for the kids to play. Ping pong was a big hit and the house was well stocked for the beach and in a great location.

This was our second year staying here and we absolutely love this house! Great location-close to kids corner park, beach, and downtown. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Great outdoor space, lots of games.

Nice house in a great location

This is a great South Haven house. Close to everything! We used the pingpong table and the pool table and the easy carry beach chairs.

Amazing Time!

The owner was so easy to work with. The house was light & bright and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner for 12!

So much fun!

I stayed with my daughters and their kids and we had a blast! The location is perfect. The older kids could ride bikes or walk to the beach or downtown. The house had everything that we needed, and plenty of room to spread out. Thank you!!

Although we live in the Chicago area, we grew up in Michigan and always wanted a place in this beautiful state. I am a retired science teacher and my wife is a retired swim instructor. Our son currently is teaching math and science in Quito, Ecuador.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We wanted a place for small family reunions. We had to have excellent swimming, good bicycling, and things to do within walking distance. South beach, 1/2 mile west, has excellent swimming and there are 2 nice bicycle trails, the paved Van Buren Trail running 5 miles south and the limestone Kal Haven trail running 33 miles east. Plus there are many back roads suitable for biking. The cute little town of South Haven is just a half mile north with many shops, fine restaurants and a movie theater.

Sunsets over Lake Michigan, kayak or canoe up the Black River or take a boat ride out on Lake Michigan.
