町、ビーチ、「キッズコーナー」プレイグラウンド、ヴァンビューレントレイルまで歩いて行けるこの静かな近所が大好きです。 同時に、裏庭にある大きなフェンスで平和な時間を過ごすのに十分な距離。 地下室でプールをプレイしたり、ガレージで卓球をしたりします。 ビーチまたは町まで半マイル歩いてください。 自分の自転車を持参するか、提供されている自転車に乗って、ヴァンビューレンまたはカルヘブントレイルを探索してください。 大きなダイニングテーブルで食事をした後、家族向けのボードゲームをプレイします。
6月中旬から8月までの夏季期間中は、週1回のレンタルのみ。

Excellent Stay

I highly recommend this house. Our family had a great time and used the provided bikes every day. It’s a great location in South Haven that we all really enjoyed. My children also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong tables.

Nice home, best suited for families

Stayed here with some friends for an event at the race track nearby. Tons of small beds and plenty to do. (Games, pool table, bicycles, ect) Would recommend to families with several kids more so than a group of buddies for the track.

Property Pros: Well stocked with amenities in kitchen, paper products high quality. Cool looking old time kitchen cabinets. Nice clothes washer and dryer in basement. Good activities like bikes, pool table, ping pong. Owner provided bikes were a big plus for us (retired). Too far to walk to downtown and the pier for us (10 blocks). Very fast internet, which is unusual in most rentals. Good communication with owner.Property Cons that will prevent our return visit: yard with tall grass and overgrown weeds concerning particularly for our dog - she had a tick shortly after we arrived and chewed at her paws throughout our stay. The very small "patio area" was unusable due to overgrowth and dirty table/chairs. Grass was high for half our stay until finally mowed (but still not trimmed). Very badly overgrown and obviously unattended landscape. Frequency of large black ants. These were not typical of the tiny brown ants seen all over the sidewalks in South Haven. Ants traps were placed throughout the kitchen windows and floor upon our arrival. After killing ants daily, we called owner and got access to ant spray but still not what you expect to do on vacation. Downstairs bath consisted of shower at one end of basement and very small 1/2 bath in the other end. Very inconvenient. Overall, may be suitable for families with kids but not what we expected.

Great location

Location to beach and town was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Lots of games, books, everything you would need.

Great location and my dog was so happy!

Nice, quiet neighborhood close to blue stairs, Kid's Park, and downtown. The fenced in double lot yard was great for our dog! This was our second time staying here and hopefully will be able to do so again next year.

Summer in September

We came during off-season, but the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the house and property. We didn't cook in the kitchen; it really didn't lend itself to that. The basement bathroom and shower were confusing and awkward, but we got used to it.

Great place for kids

Although the house is not large, we really enjoyed that there were so many different areas for the kids to play. Ping pong was a big hit and the house was well stocked for the beach and in a great location.

Great for family

A lovely older home with alot of activities for high energy children, bikes, pool table, games, etc. Indoors looked freshly painted and clean. For two older folks like my husband and I it wasnt a good fit but only because it was further away from the beach and downtown than what we were used to walking. Totally acceptable for younger folks though! A big backyard that was fenced in which was great for our two small dogs but no outside light for bedtime potty breaks and not a great patio to sit at but that is just a cosmetic issue that could easily be addressed. Overall whats important is it was clean and comfortable and in a central location.

Spot on, Spot

Awesome location to beach/town/kids park! House was well maintained, and the multiple games (pool, ping pong, air hockey) were a huge hit with the little one. Host was accommodating and quick to respond to any question I had. We literally walked to the beach access and downtown everyday without issue. Highly recommend!

Great Getaway

Perfect location for a fall getaway. Easy to get to the beach, Saugatuck and St joe. Weather was a little cool but we didn’t mind at all. Our dog loved the back yard. Grandkids came over for a day and loved all the toys and games. Thanks Mark!!

Great family house

We have stayed in South Haven for several years now and this home has been our favorite. The home is bigger than the pictures make it seem and the amount of entertainment available was awesome. The kids loved having their own bunk room upstairs and there was a tv and nintendo wii for them to use. The pool table in basement is awesome and what a great space - there is a tv with cable down there too, perfect for after the kids go to bed. I could also see that being a great place for older kids to hang out. The kitchen was clean and I loved that the fridge was empty. I hate it when you arrive at a rental to someone's mystery foods left "for your use." The dishes were just right for cooking meals at the house and the gas stove made me VERY happy. There isn't a dishwasher but we didn't mind, a dish drying rack was available and we made quick work of cleaning up. We loved that the large table and chairs were quality, not some cheap Target or IKEA set you see at some rentals. This truly felt like a home. The yard was great, full fenced in and with a hose for rinsing off after the beach. The garage is like a bonus space - there were beach toys and chairs to use and the ping pong table provided hours of enjoyment too. It was nice there was three spaces to park off the street. We felt very comfortable here and were only a few blocks from both the beach and downtown.

So much fun!

I stayed with my daughters and their kids and we had a blast! The location is perfect. The older kids could ride bikes or walk to the beach or downtown. The house had everything that we needed, and plenty of room to spread out. Thank you!!

Great vacation!

We had a wonderful trip to south haven and enjoyed this house very much. It is close enough to bike to town, the beach, some playgrounds, even tennis courts! The house was very clean and was perfect for our family (us, our 4 kids, and grandparents) We cooked all our meals in the house, and while the kitchen is small, it worked out fine. There was plenty of room for all of us around the table. My kids enjoyed the upstairs room, and we all played lots of bean bag toss in the backyard. We can’t wait to stay here again!

The owner was so easy to work with. The house was light & bright and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner for 12!

Although we live in the Chicago area, we grew up in Michigan and always wanted a place in this beautiful state. I am a retired science teacher and my wife is a retired swim instructor. Our son currently is teaching math and science in Quito, Ecuador.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We wanted a place for small family reunions. We had to have excellent swimming, good bicycling, and things to do within walking distance. South beach, 1/2 mile west, has excellent swimming and there are 2 nice bicycle trails, the paved Van Buren Trail running 5 miles south and the limestone Kal Haven trail running 33 miles east. Plus there are many back roads suitable for biking. The cute little town of South Haven is just a half mile north with many shops, fine restaurants and a movie theater.
