Happy Ours Cottage, a 4 minutos a pie de la playa de arena.

Las amplias renovaciones y restauraciones de los últimos 15 años capturan la sensación de relajación y diversión para su estadía en South Haven. Nuestro largo camino de entrada acomodará cuatro o cinco vehículos. El estacionamiento en la calle también está disponible para dos vehículos, de abril a noviembre.

Nuestra cabaña de 4 dormitorios, 2 baños completos, aire acondicionado y lavadora / secadora se encuentra a 600 pies del lago Michigan Drive (North Shore Drive) y a 15 minutos a pie de las más de 50 tiendas del centro histórico de South Haven. La cabaña está a menos de una milla del puente levadizo en el centro de South Haven. Hay seis playas públicas en el lado norte de South Haven. Nuestra playa pública más cercana se encuentra en Oak Street y North Shore Drive. Esta es una caminata de cinco minutos desde nuestra casa. Puede ver esto al mapear nuestra dirección.

La cabaña cuenta con un televisor de pantalla plana de 70 'en la sala de estar, wifi por cable e inalámbrico, aire acondicionado, chimenea electrónica, lavadora y secadora, lavavajillas y horno doble. La cocina está completamente equipada con pequeños electrodomésticos, ollas y sartenes, platos y todo lo que necesita para hacer una comida maravillosa. Lo único que necesita agregar es su propia comida.

Proporcionamos bolsas de basura, toallas de cocina, toallas de papel, papel higiénico, Kleenex, toallas de baño, sábanas y otra ropa de cama. Las camas Queen y Full tienen cuatro almohadas. Las camas gemelas tienen dos almohadas.

También tenemos muchos juguetes de playa y chalecos salvavidas para su uso.

La cocina tiene capacidad para 13 personas. También tenemos un área de patio en el patio trasero, parrilla de gas y una pequeña fogata.

Easy walk to town, beach, food, and bars. The cabin was equipped very well in the kitchen. Bring your own pillows but beds were comfortable. Only 2 bathrooms but still workable. Outdoor space was great with several chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

Perfect location for easy beach access. Loved the extra included amenities, like beach chairs and wagon. It was great for our large group with plenty of sleeping options. The communication was very straightforward with a description of all of the quirks of the house, so it was nice to know what to expect.

This was a very good place for our family, 3 couples plus a toddler. Very convenient to have a changing table , high chair, portable crib, crib sheets right there. The sun porch was his favorite play area. The beach was very close, a couple minutes by car or a short walk. It's a great location, we walked into town and a long the beach to the lighthouse. The kitchen has everything we needed, and there was a lot of room to sit around and to have the high chair at the table. Katherine, the host , kept in touch to make sure everything was ok. Tip from a long time South Haven visitor: go to the newly reopened Sherman's Ice Cream.

Great spot

Great spot I a quieter neighborhood north of town. Short walk to Oak Street Beach but only 15 minutes from downtown. Accommodated the five of us fantastically, could’ve easily had a lot more folks.Kitchen was great as was washer/dryer. Would love to come back!

Family was getting married in Allegan. We used this place to stay during the wedding and after. It has a great location near the beach as well as not a long drive to the wedding venue. Kathy was great to work with. She made sure that we had everything we needed including all of the beach toys.

The house was perfect for our family get away. It's stocked with nearly everything you need and more...especially the kitchen. There were baby items available to use which was so helpful. The beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

Great location and great host

We really enjoyed the house for our family trip to South Haven. The kitchen/living room space was great for us to hangout together at night and the location was very convenient to walk to the beach and downtown. We barely used our car. The house was as expected and had plenty of beach chairs and toys for us to use. Thanks for sharing your home!

Wonderful location

That cottage was nice but it was not a good match for our family. We had 9 adults and it was tight. I can see how the cottage would be ideal if our 5 "kids" were little ones. I would recommend the cottage but not for people with "big" kids.

Perfect stay for Mother-in-law’s 60th

My family and I stayed at the cottage along with a few other family members to celebrate my mother in law’s 60th birthday. The cottage was perfect for what we needed. The cottage is not far from all of the things that South Haven has to offer!! Thank you for a great weekend!

Had an overall positive experience, even if the weather didn’t cooperate with us! Was a little bit of construction on the road but not a huge deal. Home was as advertised with plenty of space for all. Host was extremely communicative and thorough. Enjoyed our stay!

Many advantages, a few drawbacks

If you read the various reviews, you eill get a good picture of this rental. So I won't repeat them. The number of beds for the price and location are great. And plenty of seating in dining and living rooms was plenty for all. (I have found this is not the case in all rentals.) The owner was very responsive to requests and questions we had. The information given for our preparation was super helpful. We guessed the cottage is about 100 years old but all the important things, kitchen, bathrooms and electrical are totally modern. You notice the old in the tiny closets, odd vents and creaky floors. The floors created a bit of consternation for us as it was impossible to move around quietly in the kitchen in order not to disturb the family with baby downstairs. And, the kitchen island lights reflect brightly through the opening at top of stairs. I only add these things for those to whom it would make a difference. The array of beach gear, kitchen items and games makes it a great choice if you will be flying and limited in what you bring. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I have rented our cottage for over 20 years. As a retired teacher and a Ph.D. student, I am available 24/7 to assist with any needs you may have. I am always happy to help with restaurant suggestions, activities, etc. Of course, our favorite time is enjoying the cottage with our friends and family from Illinois.

With four bedrooms, three on the main level and one downstairs, a brand new Master Bathroom (2015) on the main level, and a shower bathroom on the lower level, our cottage is the perfect location to get together with family and friends.

Our cottage is comfortable and relaxing with the perfect combination of modern conveniences. It features high-speed wireless Internet, Cable, Roku, and central air. Our kitchen has a double oven, flat top stove, large microwave, dishwasher, large toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot, hand mixer, blender, griddle, waffle maker, spices, and plenty of pots, pans, tableware, and silverware. Most of the rooms have high ceilings, which creates a feeling of openness. The living room has a 60" smart, flat-screen television, blue-ray player, lots of DVDs, 2 sofas, love seat, and a Lazy Boy recliner. The kitchen has seating for 13. We also have many games and children's books, just in case there is a chance for some quiet moments inside.
For kids, there is an outdoor shower, life jackets, beach toys, beach wagon, stroller, high chair, changing table, pack and play, booster chair, child's potty, and potty circle.
Outside we have six chairs around a circular table, some folding chairs, two lounge chairs, an Adirondack chair, an outdoor shower, and a beach wagon.
