Beach vibes and fun colors are the main features of this cozy 1 bedroom suite. With beautiful pine floors, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom, this suite provides all the amenities for your beachside stay. The bed is topped with memory foam for extra comfort. This bright, first floor suite is a quick one minute walk to the beach, and a short walk to the park, shops, market, and restaurants. For a fun and affordable option, book your stay in the cute & comfortable Seashell Suite!

For your safety and convenience everything is operated via keycode. There is a fire suppression/sprinkler system outfitted throughout the building. There are security cameras at the building's front entrance and in the building's common hallway (none inside the apartment). We provide parking passes for easy parking right outside the building.

**Onset is a highly desirable location. The village is very walkable with many nice beaches and parks, as well as great restaurants and water activities. Local activities (walking distance to the house) include: 3 beautiful parks, beautiful beaches, outdoor concert area, kayak, SUP, or boat rentals, Canal cruises, fishing, and playground area. You can also walk to the market, post office, village shops, and restaurants. There's also a water park, mini golf, and other activities a short drive away! It is central to many areas of interest: Very close to the rest of Cape Cod, 20 min to the ferries for Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket, 25 minutes to historic Plymouth, 1 hr to Provincetown, 1 hr to Boston, 1 hr to Providence or Newport RI. We also provide a guest Welcome Guide with recommended restaurants and activities.

Property was very good. Sofa not very comfortable however and shower was ok. Would have liked more stores and shopping too without leaving area. Very easy to get to which was nice. Very nice area. Friendly.

This is the first time Ive heard the couch wasn't comfortable - everyone says it is very comfy! There are quite a few restaurants and shops around as well.

Very nice place to stay!

Was very spacious, provided all the main necessities and very close to the beach and shops. Felt a little mislead as it made it sound like we had an ocean view, a place to sit/eat outside...which I believe other suites did but ours did not. But overall was very happy!

Although it is only about 50 steps to to the beach, there is no where in the listing that says there is a beach view from inside.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Absolutely LOVED the location. I was thrilled to be on the 1st floor because of my mobility with stairs. It's a refurbished older building and the walls are thin, the people in the apartment across from me had dogs and muffled conversations could be hear in the kitchen. I do wish there was access to a place to sit outside. There is a spot but it's attached to a separate unit. You can always walk down to the beach, very easy stroll. Host was very responsive to request for a new shower liner. No dishwasher which is minor. Can't stress how wonderful the location is, right up the street from the beach....awesome! Restaurants, a couple of cute gift shops, local business offering music at night, canal cruises right up the street, and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the water.

Good location, but not soo clean

We ending up leaving a day before, the location is perfect walk distance to good restaurants, beach...the reason we left is because wasn't that clean ,unfortunately..i did contact the owner about the situation letting her know we were checking out,because we were very uncomfortable with the smell in the apartment.

I'm confused because we checked the suite when she left and there was no smell. The only smell was floral as there is a wall plug in that was fairly new that she could have unplugged if she didn't like it. We have had three guests since Veronica came and all gave 5 star reviews through a different platform and no one said anything negative about smell or cleanliness.

Property Worked out well

For the most part, the property was exactly what was needed. However, during the stay, there was no internet/wifi for 90% of the time. Whilst the owner stated it was being worked on, and a technician would be out, this seemed like a known issue for some time that wasn't addressed or advised upon prior to the stay. Without wifi/internet, the last day(s) was rainy with nothing to do but hunker down, my Dad chose to go to a hotel for the final night so he would have entertainment in the evening. Overall the property was Good - but missing amenities caused some issues.

Verizon went down for 2 days of his stay (for the first time in years). We tried diligently to solve the issues and even sent an emergency handyman out, but the issue was on Verizon's end so there was little we could do. It was certainly not down prior to his stay, and it came back the day prior to his departure. It is now working fine and there have been no issues since.

Didn’t meet our expectations.

We frequently stay in vacation rentals across the US and the world. This listing fell short in a few areas. First off, I had to inquire about the codes to enter the property since they were never sent. Then once we arrived, the pull out couch sheets hadn’t been changed. The host gave me the location of additional sheets. The couch is really old and not a comfortable sleeping location, even for children. There were no additional pillows or towels for my son, but were provided when requested. The house was built in 1900, so the floors are slanted and the house shows its age. Including chips and holes in the tub, windows that are difficult to open and one AC in the bedroom. The one bedroom has an advertised Queen, but felt more like a Full size. The location was the only positive for us. Walking distance to the beach (not dog friendly), restaurants, ice cream and a park. Note that most of the business require cash payment. In the end, we left a day early because none of us were sleeping well with the bed arrangements. For what you pay during the peak season, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Chelsea unfortunately showed up looking for (and creating) problems. She was sour as she had tried cancelling for a full refund prior to arriving, but it was too close to her stay for a full refund. There were clean linens, blankets, and pillows right in the closet. She told me there were none, but I found them when she checked out. She brought extra people without telling me as well, so there weren't enough towels, but I had some delivered to her door when she asked. She also tried convincing me it's a full bed however I know it is a queen because I bought the mattress and frame. It is a standard queen bed. This is also the first time I'm hearing about the couch being uncomfortable to sleep on, which I don't think it is, she was just sour about not being to get a full refund days before her trip so she showed up ready to create problems.

myself and 2 children loved this place. Roomy, living room, big tv, nice kitchen w everything to cook like being home, nice bathroom, nice bedroom, AC. So much better than a hotel room. this is like a small apartment. 1st floor, easy access. REALLY close to the beach, good parking, close to downtown. we didnt want to leave. A+

Perfect family beach vacation

Onset is the perfect place to have a family beach vacation, there's something for everyone all within walking distance. The beach is a short walk from the apartment. The one bedroom unit we stayed in had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Cute Accommodations by the Beach

Loved the location of this property. Great communication with the host. Overall, happy with our stay. However, I believe the bed is not a Queen, more of a full size. Also, windows hard to open to let in fresh air (I am not a big fan of AC while sleeping).

I grew up in the area and love the beach. My husband and I also run a company (MemoryCo) that helps seniors stay engaged and entertained while in Assisted living/Memory Care.

Why they chose this property

This property was built circa 1890 as a Victorian Sea Captain's house. Later, after the turn of the century it was turned into a hotel known as the Marcy House, and later, The Prospect Inn. During the 1920's the property was known for having a 'speak easy' during times of prohibition. There is a lot of history and a lot of great energy on the property. The location is also prime, because it is steps to the beach and steps to many of the great restaurants in Onset.

What makes this property unique

We are uniquely situated in a perfect spot- steps from Onset and Shell Point beaches, steps from Marc Anthony's famous pizza, and right across the street from a fantastic breakfast diner. Within very close walking distance you will also find a local market/liquor store, post office, spa, salon, multiple beautiful parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, local bars, and nice waterfront dining options. We are also very close to the boat rental/kayak rental area. You could spend a week in Onset and not need to drive at all!
