The house has a beautiful view. The host did not return our texts. The house was hard to keep warm, although that would only a problem in the winter.

Our cottage stay was cozy and much needed. It doesn't get much better than the view! Sitting outside for sunsets and enjoying morning coffee gazing out the beautiful window view was such a treat. We will be back, for the location, the quiet, the stunning views, and the cozy feel to our hosts home. One of my favorite stays in all my years traveling!

This was a beautiful place to stay while visiting Plymouth! Very close, yet away from the busyness! The views both in the morning and at night were so pretty! We were so hoping to kayak Buzzard’s Bay, but a storm system prevented that. However , found rainy day fun in both the Sea Glass museum and Cape Cod Canal museum! Also, appreciated the excellent communication and well stocked cottage! Great place for sure!!

This little gem of a property was such a nice way to decompress while in town for a wedding event. The views were great, the village was charming and the neighbors were friendly.With the property being right on the beach, we made time to get out and walk the beach several times, talk with neighbors and take many pictures. The bay itself was quiet, serene and secluded.The unit itself was a very comfortable size for two. With an in-unit kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, sitting and eating area, there wasn't much more that you could ask for as far as essentials go. The appliances worked, we were able to cook meals, and enjoyed everything this property had to offer. If I find myself in the area again, I would absolutely return.

The waterfront cottage, although compact, offered a cozy atmosphere, beautiful bay views, and spectacular sunsets. The check-in process was efficient and seamless. The host accommodated an earlier check-in time, allowing us to settle into the cottage and commence our vacation. The cottage was clean and well-equipped with necessary kitchen amenities. The queen-sized bed was extremely comfortable, whereas the living room sofa was less so. To capitalize on the bay breeze, we opened the windows, but occasional bugs infiltrated through holes in the screens during the evening. Therefore, I recommend utilizing a citronella candle or similar bug deterrent. When seated on the patio in the evening, employing some form of bug repellent is also advisable.

Property needs maintenance badly. Large holes in window screens. Some windows would not open. Stair risers falling off. Boards in backyard deck lifting up. No way to contact property owner/manager. No indication where to park vehicle. We mistakenly parked in a neighbor's spot and received a note telling us to move our vehicle. No place to put our food, clothing, or other personal belongings other than on kitchen counter. Shelves/storage filled with owner's belongings. It did have a large, comfortable bed and was clean. The view was as pictured and was lovely.

Please correct the dates to Mon, Aug 11 - Thu, Aug 14. I absolutely loved my stay at this cute little place right on the water of Buzzards Bay. Checking in was seamless. The place was immaculate and the host was always quick to respond. I would stay here again for sure!

Quick mid week trip in July

We loved this stay. It is so peaceful, scenic, and safe. Our boys were able to enjoy beach front play and swim in the front yard/private beach area. It takes 1 min to walk there. It was so convenient. The views from the house are just stunning. We had a comfortable stay even though the house is small. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed inside. The owners communicated very well and were pleasant. We thought the neighbors were so kind and friendly. We loved our stay and would come back. My only recommendation is maybe a small fire ring in the front yard.

I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Check in with simple, it was easy to find, and write on the water. Having stayed in the same village, prior, I found this cottage was more spacious than I expected. The kitchen was well stocked With utensils, cookware, etc. The view was fabulous, the beach was empty, they were kayaks available for use. The whole neighborhood was very peaceful, and quiet. That was just what I needed, and it delivered. I highly recommend this cottage for relaxing week for a couple or single.

Peace and quiet

We chose this for the waters edge and were not disappointed. Thought it might be a little remote but it’s only minutes from great restaurants and grocery! Perfect for 2people!

By the Sea

Coming from Missouri, this cabin on Buzzard Bay was a little slice of heaven for us. Rustic but equipped with everything we needed, we just relaxed and soaked in the laid back attitude of Hideaway Village and the beautiful view of the seabirds on the water.

The view out the front window of the bay was spectacular. We enjoyed a walk on the private beach and some hikes nearby. Also enjoyed laundry on site. Great place to spend some time!
