Whether you're seeking a peaceful couple's escape, a fun-filled weekend with friends, or a relaxing family holiday, this spacious beachfront home has room for everyone. From the moment you step inside and take in the stunning ocean view, your beach getaway begins.
Unwind to the sights and sounds of the sea, with panoramic views of Mayor Island, the Aldermans, Karewa, and The Mount from this ideally located home-just steps from the beach access across the road A permanently dog-friendly beach begins just 100 metres from the house and stretches all the way to Bowentown, making it perfect for your four legged companion.
Take a leisurely 5-minute walk to the local dairy for ice cream or grab some classic Kiwi fish and chips. The nearby bike trail is perfect for a bit of adventure, right around the corner.
This two-level home is designed for easy holiday living. Upstairs features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens onto a sunny deck complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture-perfect for those laid-back summer evenings. You'll also find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet on this level.
Downstairs, a spacious rumpus room offers a Smart TV, board games, outdoor games, and unlimited Wi-Fi for everyone to enjoy. Two additional bedrooms, a second bathroom/laundry (with shower, toilet, washer & dryer), and a queen-size sofa bed in the rumpus room complete the ground floor layout.
Step outside to a fully fenced, generous section-great for kids and dogs to roam safely. There's even room to pitch a tent, plus plenty of off-street parking for vehicles or a boat.

* The garage is NOT AVAILABLE for guest use
* In line with Kiwi Bach tradition, guests are asked to bring their own linen (sheets,
Pillowcases, and towels) All beds come with mattress protectors, duvets, pillows
and pillow protectors.
* All beds (including the Queen sofa bed in the rumpus) were purchased new in

Gorgeous location and excellent accommodation

Difficult to find accommodation for a work group but this house was just great. Large, spacious, plenty of beds and a lovely panorama.

Relaxing weekend with friends

We all had a great trip and Waihi and what a great house to stay in right near the beach. It was a perfect fit for us and we will definitely be looking to go back in the future.

Fantastic place for a getaway

Lovely property with everything you could need for a short break. The location was fantastic, so close to the beach and wonderful to have a fully fenced and gated section which meant that puppy was free to run around also. Fabulous host who was so accommodating ... all in all it was just a really great place to stay!

Fantastic location and well equipped bach

Our family loved our week at Waihi Beach. The Bach is in a fantastic location and very well equipped. Clean and easy to get to. Local dairy nearby and Surf Shack (excellent Burger/lunch spot) is an easy walk away. Great location to have a relaxing holiday at.

Perfect Spot

Perfect Spot! Beach access accross the road, all the mod cons like Wi-Fi and Coffee Machine while still keeping a bachy feel. Perfect for two families and can't wait to be back again.

Amazing Location

Great location

Very comfortable home in a great location for enjoying the beach and riding the bike trail. Loved sitting on the deck watching the cargo ships. The kitchen has everything you need and the number of appliances is impressive. We will definitely return.

Awesome Host

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every detail has been thought of. The host makes you feel relaxed about staying in their accommodation which I really appreciated. The beautiful beach is very close and it was awesome that we were able to take our dog. Highly recommend!

A weekend at the beach.

Our weekend stay was fantastic. Ideal location with fabulous views. Had everything we needed and then some, particularly well furbished kitchen. Loved the kiwi welcome with dip and chips and timtams. Thank you.

Relax and watch the world go by

A great home for a relaxing weekend away with family , ages ranging from 1-69. The deck with sea view was also able to be secured for the little ones. Was amazing to be able to bring the pooches as well . Highly recommend

Fantastic Accommodation

Wow! Can't say enough good things about this property. So well set up for families (and dogs). Everything you need, plus some. Very friendly and helpful property owner with great communication. Location was perfect, close to everything you need. Would definitely stay again, recommend to all.

Great bach to stay with family/friends incl. your dog:)

Family 80th Birthday get together. This place is perfect, space, beautiful layout, stunning view.

Rachelle’s communication is excellent. Every one of us enjoyed how easy it was to be here, a welcoming place to be. It’s excellent and we’ll set up for kids with games, buckets & spades. You turn up and get holidaying .. perfect

Amazing weekend away!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 6 adults to have a beach getaway. The location is stunning, the property had everything you could hope for and more. You can tell the owners had thought of all the small details and the host was so helpful and had great communication. The beds are super comfy which is always a bonus! We love this bach and can't wait to return. Thank you!

Relax by the beach

Friends and I had an absolutely amazing time staying here over the Easter weekend. The location it fantastic being right by the beach and the bach has a lovely relaxed feel with awesome views of the sea. Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, beds comfy and had lots of games to keep us entertained. We all had a great time and would certainly recommend to anyone! Thanks so much for having us

Christmas at the beach

Superb location looking out to Mayor island from lovely expansive deck.House was immaculate ,,decorated in christmas theme great selection of games & books etc, many hours spent playing corn hole!! Very memorable christmas & will definently book again.Very thankful to our hosts for making a christmas to remember.

Great House and Great Host

Excellent location and amazing views. The house has a really comfortable vibe and we instantly felt relaxed when we walked in the door. Everything we needed was there, place was really clean and tidy and the bed super comfortable. Having the fully fenced section with our dog was fantastic and he loved his stay there as well. Rachelle is a fantastic host and the communication from her was excellent right from booking to our stay there. Thanks once again an we hope to come back.

Canadian Family Vacation

Amazing beachfront view access to beach and fishing.Rachel is a fantastic host, excellent communication and appreciated her special attention to details. The house was spotless plenty of room for two families and great selection of games, books and beach accessories making it a highlight of our trip.The Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise!

I have been holidaying at Waihi Beach for 30+ years with my husband and 2 children. We have now moved here to live a slower life and enjoy what Waihi Beach and its community have to offer.

After a long search for the right home and location to settle at Waihi Beach, we found Beached On Broadway. It ticked all the boxes with the added bonus of plenty of space for entertaining friends and family, while also being able to live the quiet life, with the view and the beach feeling like it is all our own!
