Welcome to the old Big Sky Firehouse, located in The Meadows of Big Sky Montana, within walking distance of Town Center. The character of this property is enhanced because a portion of it was once the Big Sky Volunteer Fire Station. Of course the fire poles and trucks are gone, but the history of this property adds to it's charm. The property was moved and remodeled and a new addition was built to transform the 3,200 square foot home into the perfect lodging destination for your Big Sky vacation.
The first floor great room has a cathedral ceiling with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. The room surrounds you with windows and mountain views. Don't be surprised if you wake up to a moose at your door in the morning. There have been plenty of moose sightings. The recently added custom drapes add to the ambience, and your privacy. An open kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining room, a laundry, three bedrooms with queen beds and two full baths complete the first floor. Climb the log steps to the loft where you will find one large bedroom with four single beds. A 2nd loft room has two single beds under one of the dormer windows, a queen bed under the other dormer window, a full bath and areas for lounging around, playing board games. The downstairs includes two more bedrooms, both with new twin over queen log bunk beds and another full bath. The covered patio off the great room includes a fabulous hot tub for working out the muscle pain of skiing or sore shoulders from a long day of fly fishing.
The property is conveniently located within minutes of Big Sky Ski Resort which now includes Moonlight Basin. Nearby are the private Spanish Peaks Club and Yellowstone Club. Fly fishing on pristine blue ribbon rivers like the Gallatin and Madison are nearby. Farther away (2+ hours) are the Henry's Fork, Beaverhead, and Big Hole. Shopping, restaurants and bars are located in Town Center across the street and are a short walk away. There are hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain bike trails in the area. The west gate to Yellowstone National Park is less than an hour away and of course the City of Bozeman is within an hour drive as well.
Two car garage with remote openers are for guest use.

Great house for friends and family. Lots of beds, lots of space, great location with restaurants and shops walkable. Loved the skiing, hot tub, fireplace.
Great location (very close to a shopping center and close to the resort). Property was great though the shower’s temperature would fluctuate a lot, but not really a big deal. Would stay here again next time I’m in Big Sky.
Roominess and house character; though the house was a bit dated it had a very comfortable look and feel. The location was great, and it fit the 10 of us nicely!
Excellent house for a large group! Kitchen has plenty of dishes and silverware. The owner is very responsive to any questions or concerns and has suggestions about things to do at Big Sky. We will stay here again
We had a great time at the Big Sky Firehouse. The location was within walking distance to the town center. Very cozy and comfortable!Perfect for a large family or group.
This was a terrific property and the owners/managers were very nice and responsive to our needs and questions. Great hot-tub and proximity to Big Sky Town Center. Highly recommend!!
Large house with plenty of beds for all of us. Great location with a short drive to the ski resort and across from a new shopping center for groceries and meals.
The location was excellent. The weather was phenomenal The property could use some updates. Definitely need some newer appliances and equipment in kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the spacious house
Huge house with plenty of room for our large group. Kitchen was well stocked, hot tub had cleaner, and firplace had wood! Book of directions made everything clear for us. Solid location too near the village and down the road from the resort.
Great location to town and golf course for our family vacation. Plenty of space and the hot tub was a favorite. More historic of a property with it being the old fire house and you can even get hints of the sentimental smoky smell.
We had a great time!
6 buddies meet up every 3 years Lots to do in big sky and this house was a prefect hangout
Being walking distance to town square and concert venue was great
