Great Location and Property

The location and amenities were great. The house was not super clean when we arrived but overall it was a great place. I loved the short drive to many restaurants, and how it was located right on the beach. I would definitely stay there again!

Great Place to Stag

This was a great home with plenty of room right on the beach. It made for a fun and restful time with family. Lots of sun and swimming. The plunge pool was perfect for the kids. Hopefully, we will be back.

I was VERY pleased with this house, would definitely rent again

I was worried about booking this house because it was much cheaper then the rest so i assumed something was wrong with it,but that was the the case,it was VERY nice,great location would definitely book again.

Family Spring Break Trip 2023

Check in was easy, maintenance was readily available, we had a breaker trip and the handle on the fridge needed tightening, so nothing major but they were very quick to respond and get the issue handled.

Fabulous

Location was fabulous!! Restaurants and easy access to everything. My fault we did not read no additional paper products (toilet paper especially) so make sure you bring. Owner was very responsive and helpful!!1

Great rental!

Nice home, right on the beach. Something’s are dated but everything works as it should. We had a wonderful time and the plunge pool was a life saver due to the double red flags all week! The bar across the road was pretty loud in the evenings with the live music but we managed! Overall I recommend this rental for large group that’s not wanting to spend an arm and a leg to be right on the water with a pool.

Great

We really enjoyed our stay. We aren’t super picky so this place was amazing for us. I do feel like this property needs a little TLC compared to similar properties adjacent. The location, cleanliness, and management were great. I feel like they have listened to reviews. It does look like they are updating things as they need like the deck & oven. The garage was a plus & having bathrooms for each room was great. Parking isn’t great for any property on the entire street - not just this property. Just make sure to plan if you have more than 3 cars. Overall we would stay here again & really enjoyed it!

Great beach property

This property was perfect for us. The size was great for what we needed. We had 11 people total. I appreciated the fact that they texted me the door code and let me know the place was ready before 4 as we had just got to town. The plunge pool on the deck was a nice feature, especially for the kids. I would highly recommend this place. I have two rules when I research beach spots, as we come every year, 1.) must be on the beach and #2 not next to high rise condos. This place fit the bill perfectly. We also had a bar across the street which we enjoyed for a night of Karaoke. All in all a wonderful family beach vacation!

Great beach access and Comfortable Spaces!!

Intergenerational family gathering 18 mo. to 80+. The walk and view of the beach was awesome for all!!! It was an early April week so we really wish the pool was heated. The kids would have used it a lot more. We had some cold and wind so we were grateful for the large table for games and meals. We also cook while we vacation and the kitchen needs some things replaced and augmented. There are not enough forks for the number of people the unit sleeps😳.

More pluses than minuses

Location was great, family enjoyed every minute. First time vacationing in September in 9 years, loved it , plan on going next September also. The house accommodated everyone very nicely, although some of the appliances need to be updated, the stove is probably be here since it was built in 2003. The cleaners do not do a great job the dust was at least 1inch think on bed room side lamps. Overall still a great vacation. John gover

Loved our stay!

We loved the location, being right on the beach, the gorgeous ocean view, and the spacious home. Our group was four couples and a two-year old. Each bedroom having their own bathroom was great. The music from the Alibi Beach Lounge bar across the street can be loud at night, but the music is good and ends by 11 pm. And the food is pretty good. We did have an issue with bugs living in the dishwasher door, but they were pretty much concentrated in that area. We would definitely consider coming back again. The deck was rebuilt. The splash pool is not heated, but was warmed by the sun and was not cold at all.

Good experience

We were changed to a different unit due to maintenance issues. They told us a day before we left. We had 10 adults. These units are laid out very well for large groups. PM was helpful during this location change. Great beach! You are across the street from the Alibi bar. Music is loud at night. But we loved getting bloody Mary’s and bringing back to condo since it was 50 ft away.

Beach is Beautiful and Plenty of Room

The house is nice, but needs a lot of work. The back deck is in very bad shape and all the appliances should be replaced. The weather was cool and we were disappointed that the pool did not heat, but can see how it would be nice in warmer weather. There is a bar right across the street that was convenient for a quick lunch or dinner, but rather loud at night with a toddler in the house. The house is very big and the beach is beautiful, just needs some TLC.

Enjoyed stay

Overall the house is lovely. The only complaints we have are the queen beds are very uncomfortable and noisy. Mainly the 3nd floor 2 queens they felt like all the springs in the mattress were gone it felt like sleeping “in a water bed” or deflating air mattress. You sunk into a hole. Also the only bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms if someone is staying in the downstairs room you will have to go to your room on 2nd or 3rd floor. Other than that the house was lovely very easy to get to the beach very short walk to the water off back deck. Home is in a great area lots of family’s and very close to any place you need to go. Great bar/restaurant across the street. Overall we would stay here again.

Cousins at Cotton Sails

Our stay was in mid April and the weather was still a little cool. The instructions for check in were as described and went smoothly. The house was clean and all bedrooms were as described in VRBO booking. We did have to call for maintenance for 3 of the toilets. Maintenance called to schedule the repair. Once on site all 3 toilets were fixed within 20 min. The kitchen was fairly well provisioned except for wine or martini glasses . All in all we had a really good time and would rent Cotton Sails again.

The deck was a mess,but when we were there someone came to measure for a new deck. The refridgerator ice maker was broken also the garage door. Some of the cabinet doors in bedrooms would fall off. The whirlpool tub in master bath didnt work.

Dirty and horrible

This property was beyond dirty and disgusting I cleaned for hours before our family arrivedThe posting was inaccurate of “SPA”Cabinet were dirty and brokenGarage door was in such bad condition I was afraid to park my car in it Grill had no propane in tankPorch leaked impossible to sit outside when rainingDeck boards were untreated and my granddaughter had to go to emergency room to have wood taken out of her footDirt sock and medicine under the beds from previous guests Balcony was covered in pigeons poop they sent some to clean but he ask if we were going to use balcony then only partially cleaned it“Pool”cleaners came during brunch with no advanced notice We were charged Over 500 cleaning fee they should pay me. It was cleaner when we left then when we arrivedWish I could attach pictures We were hoping for a Christmas holiday that was an absolute nightmare

Great location, great house

Was worried about plunge pool not being big enough but it ended up being perfect. Adults would float in there, sometimes 5 at a time, after a long day at the beach. The kids, 9,7, & 4 loved it too. The center was as deep as our 4y/o granddaughters forehead. We loved the bar across the street. Their music was great and we had no issue with it at night. This place was close to everything and important for my family was the big fridge in garage for the spirits. Left indoor fridge for all the food. Only complaint was that deck needs to be redone. Super foot splinter casualty, but we muddled through it. Supposedly it’s being redone after busy season. Beach was not scolding hot and was perfect. Every family within my kids families, had their own room/bathroom. Enjoy

Beautiful view

Our family was very grateful to find a beach home with such a beautiful view. However, there began to be a few issues that could not be overlooked. I do understand there are certain insects that are more common in different environments. However, this home did not appear to have been treated prior to our stay. We were also looking forward to utilizing the Jacuzzi, but we had to find out from the people coming to treat it during our stay that it had been converted into a pool and was not a Jacuzzi anymore- major bummer as this was something we were looking forward too! There were a few other housekeeping. maintenance and upgrade concerns that we all felt should have been handled prior to someone occupying- especially since we booked so far in advance but overall the view was by far the most satisfying thing of this stay.
