Ubicada dentro de la lujosa comunidad de Rock Garden de Klaeng, en la provincia de Rayong de Tailandia, esta casa remodelada está a solo minutos de piscinas, playas que están casi vacías entre semana y una gran selección de restaurantes. Si está buscando un ambiente sereno lejos de la escena de bares y discotecas por la que Tailandia es conocida, no busque más.

A solo 5 minutos en moto o automóvil se encuentra Laem Mae Phim, un pequeño pueblo de playa conocido históricamente como una escapada de fin de semana para los tailandeses que buscan un escape económico. La playa de Laem Mae Phim tiene 4 km de largo y cuenta con varios restaurantes (como cocina italiana, estadounidense y europea) con vista a la playa. También hay tiendas de buceo, tiendas de souvenirs, masajes y servicios faciales, un parque de pesca cercano, motos acuáticas, paseos en banana, vendedores de comida, un gimnasio con sauna y alquiler de motos. Si está buscando un lugar informal para pasar el rato y tomar una cerveza, también encontrará algunos de estos establecimientos.


La propiedad: Nuestra casa fue remodelada en abril de 2010 con todas las nuevas unidades de aire acondicionado, nuevos pisos de cerámica, una cocina remodelada con estufa de gas y gabinetes nuevos, nuevo cableado eléctrico (todo conectado a tierra) para que sea seguro para sus seres queridos, sistema de filtro de agua, bomba y tanque, dormitorio principal y baño ampliados, nuevos televisores de pantalla plana y muebles en todo y un área de patio exterior adicional para disfrutar del entretenimiento al aire libre.

La comunidad de Rock Garden Beach consta de más de 200 casas, algunas de propiedad privada y otras usadas como casas de huéspedes para alquilar a través de Rock Garden. Al estar dentro de los terrenos de Rock Garden Resort, las casas privadas como esta, se benefician de seguridad las 24 horas, 2 piscinas (una con tobogán para niños), una cancha de baloncesto y exuberantes jardines con senderos para caminar o trotar. Justo a las afueras del terreno hay un nuevo carril bici para cualquier persona interesada en hacer ejercicio o ver el sitio. También puede alquilar bicicletas en Rock Garden a solo 20 baht / día.

Lovely house, spacious, comfortable, good location but communal pool wasn't work!!

We stayed for a week during Christmas.The house was very spacious, comfortable, have everything you need and very quiet as half of the village no one lived there. We rented the car and was very convenient for us only 5-10 minute drive to the local markets, beach and restaurants. We were very upset that the pools are unusable and full of stagnant water and algae... We had to find the pool to used near to the beach instead during our stay which was happy for my 7 years old daughter finally. The electricity a bit more expensive cost us nearly 1000bath for a week stayed and we turn AC on just a couple night. We really enjoyed our week stayed in Rayong. If next time we back we would like to stay here again

Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war sehr gut,die Verwaltung dort war eher schwierig in der Kommunikation Der Strompreis war nihücht nachvollziehbar weil schon bei der Ankunft nicht gezeigt wurde wo der Zähler abgelesen wurde Obwohl die Abreise schon am Tag vorher kommuniziert war und wir zum Flughafen nach Bangkok mussten kam die Verwaltung leider viel zu spät und wir waren bereits wartend im Taxi Der Preis für den Strom war unseres Erachtens zu hoch

Ferie i Rock Garden Beach

Boligen i sig selv var meget god, men afstanden til stranden var for lang. 5 km er langt hvis man ikke har et køretøj. Billeder af området er meget gamle og trænger til en opdatering. Området omkring poolen lever heller ikke op til billederne. Ved ankomst til boligen, var det hele låst af. Vi havde meddelt agenturet at vi ankom ved 22 tiden, men alt var låst af, og kun ved henvendelse til ejeren kom vi ind. Agenturet kom først mandag. Kim

Unfortunately your account of things are inaccurate. After requesting several times for you to contact the property managers, you arrived much later than they had expected you. At 2200 hours, everyone had gone home to their families. Even though I was all the way over in America, I managed to wake up my daughter who arrived at the home to greet you and let you in. As for the distance to the beach...this information is disclosed on the website AND I even send a welcome note informing guests to arrange for transportation as the distance to town is about 5km. I offer to even have transportation arranged prior to your arrival. The issue here is that there was very little attention paid to the listing and the rules prior to booking.

Family holiday

Fab property. Really well equipped and great communication with the owner. The facilities may have been a little tired around the pool but it really didn’t matter as people were very helpful and the sun was shining.

Thank you for your review. Yes there could be upgrades at the pools but the trade-off is that the grounds aren’t over crowded and they do a great job of keeping the foliage looking beautiful. I hope you return again!

Vi hade inte förstått att man var tvungen att hyra moppe pga att det ej fanns mataffär eller restaurang i området. Man ser potentialen att området skulle kunna bli väldigt fint, många förfallna hus just nu, poolen var ok men kunde funnits fler solstolar. Fint boende med bra utrustning. Gick ej att bada i havet som ligger nära.

Schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus.

Das Haus und die Betreuung sind super. Entgegen den bisherigen Bewertungen muss ich sagen, dass die Anlage mittlerweile keine Geisterstadt ist. Es war ein super Aufenthalt. Man sollte nur auf Mobilität achten, da die Strände in der Umgebung deutlich schöner sind als der Strand in der Anlage.

Good stay in well equipped house

In November I spent 10 days in the holiday house with my little daughter of the age of 3. Since she's not able to swim yet, I was looking for a house without a pool. Communication with the owner and the management was very good. Management was on time. We did not have to wait at all during checkin and checkout. The house itself is in a fairly good condition. Not perfectly clean on arrival, but still ok. It gets pretty warm in the house - warmer than outside - because of the solar radiation (into the washroom), which is directly connected to the living room. But there are quite a lot of fans in the house. We only used the air conditioning at night in one of the bedrooms. As mentioned in one of the other reviews the surrounding area is more or less "dead". At least half of the houses within the holiday complex seem to abandoned. But that is something I did not mind at all. For us it was basically a beach vacation. And there are a few good beaches within close range (5-15 minute drive). We rented our car from Suvarnabhumi Airport - the house is certainly not a good place to rent when you don't have a car. The communal pool would certainly need some renovation work. Overall I was satisfied with our stay in this is well equipped house.

We had a lovely stay at the villa. It was ideal for a family get together.

The villa was very well equipped with literally everything you would need and very comfortable. Although there were lots of empty houses on the estate as other people have commented on, it didn't worry us at all. The estate was very quiet so hardly any people around so if you are looking for a peaceful holiday escape, it is ideal. Also the grounds all around the estate were lovely and were very well maintained .There was security on the main gate at all times. The communal swimming pools ware lovely and again not many people using it whilst we were there so it was like having your own pool. You do need transport to get around so we rented a motorbike with family sidecar (for 4 of us - adults) which was ideal for us and very reasonable. My husband and I were meeting up with our son and wife who actually live in Cambodia so the villa actually worked out quite reasonable as we would have needed 2 rooms in a Hotel. The villa could have accommodated more people if required as quite spacious. I would really recommend the villa and the Lae Mae Phim area is really lovely with lots of wonderful beaches, restaurants etc.

Not as expected

The house is located in a 200+ house subdivision located outside of the town of Mae Phim. While the house is updated and comfortable, we were totally unprepared for the isolation and the number of abandoned properties is kind of creepy - we barely saw a person in a week. You absolutely NEED transportation to rent this place. There is NO access to stores so no food in house, for example, when we arrived. The person that met us arranged a rental of a scooter and sidecar which we rented for the whole week we stayed at the house. We moved into Mae Phim for our second week so we could access restaurants, night life and ...people.

I am very sorry that you were unhappy with your accommodations. I try very hard to be as honest as possible about my listing. I posted the distance to the nearest store, restaurant, beach, town, etc... This home is in a gated community and many of those homes are owned by vacation rental owners who aren't occupying their residence for a good part of the year. Some owners have simply let their homes go and unfortunately their properties look abandoned. I personally like the quiet of not having neighbors right on top of me but some people like the convenience of having everything within walking distance. My house is not that close to amenities but it offers solitude, quiet, a large house for much less money which does have everything you would need such as TV's, a full kitchen, laundry indoors, private bedrooms each with their own bathrooms, wifi, etc. The house is clean, the grounds are taken care of and I have neighbors nearby to assist with any needs. What you won't get is a store within a short walking distance so yes, I am afraid you will need transportation which was also arranged for you if you ask...but everything in town is only 3km away. In the future, please help yourself from being disappointed and ask more questions if you are unsure of anything. I freely advise people to arrange transportation when they book so they are not caught off-guard. I am not trying to hide anything from anyone.

Great week in a quiet location

We had a great week staying in Klaeng. It's very quiet, very beautiful and there's heaps to do. A week wasn't enough. The property was ideal for our needs - well equipped kitchen, good size rooms, outside space, lots of clean towels and bedding and space to park on the driveway. Electric is extra and you have to pay before you leave so check out is essential. I don't think anyone had been there anytime recently so it was all a bit dusty but the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. There's no gate on the property so dogs walk in and out of the garden, but none are intimidating by our experience. The moo baan's very quiet with quite a lot of empty houses and some abandoned. There was minimal occupancy in the houses near us. The immediate houses were completely empty, great if you like quiet but looked messy. We would definitely visit the area again.

Definitely a keeper

I had a repeat vacation to Thailand and ended up renting this lovely home twice in two months. The second time I returned with an additional four people for a total of six adults. The house accommodated us very well. Comfortable beds, plenty of room, and a well equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy our stay in the home as well as the local town and community. Just as before I am looking forward to coming to the Rock Garden and this home...there really isn't a need to look anywhere else.

Absolute gem

Finding this home and the area has been like discovering a gem. The house is roomy, modern, with granite and tile throughout. Its located in an exclusive development that is well maintained with a pool, trails, beach front...great place to exercise, meditate, chill, whatever you want. I slept better there than at home! It is also roomy enough for large groups if desired. Mae Phim beach is just a few minutes scooter ride away. A beautiful beach with restaurants, shops and friendly people. Doing business with Homeaway and the management staff was smooth and always appropriate. I'm thinking of when I can book the place again as I type. Highly recommended!

This house was just perfect for our family! We had a great time and thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. The beds were super comfortable and we just loved our stay so much we didn't want it to end! We HIGHLY recommend this rental property....

Une belle villa confortable et tout équipée

Nous avons loué la villa de Brie Mathews pour deux semaines en décembre 2012. Nous recherchions le confort de trois chambres, chacune disposant de sa salle de bain pour accueillir ma belle-famille. Même à 6 ou 7 personnes, chacun à son espace de liberté et son indépendance. Nous avons également choisi la villa pour son style et sa décoration, fidèles aux illustrations du site home away : l’aménagement, les matériaux, les équipements répondent aux attentes de voyageurs occidentaux. La maison est aménagée avec goût et l’on se rend compte que le propriétaire a le souci du détail. Tout y est bien pensé. C’est une maison qui vit et qui offre tout ce dont on a besoin : équipements et ustensiles de cuisine, outils, consommables divers… On se sent immédiatement aussi bien que chez soi. Sous la table du salon, des revues touristiques locales et un dossier constitué par le propriétaire donnent tous les renseignements et indications nécessaires à propos de la maison, du site de Rock Garden, des commerces et des activités aux alentours… La maison dispose d’une Home Cinema avec une connectique fournie pour brancher ses propres sources. Le wifi nous aura offert pendant ces quinze jours un fonctionnement et un débit sans faille. Les trois chambres sont indépendantes et communiquent avec le séjour, au centre. Cette disposition fait que cette pièce ne dispose pas de beaucoup de luminosité. C’est la seule réserve que nous pouvons faire au sujet de la villa exemplaire par ailleurs. Le patio attenant à la cuisine est agréable et sa table permet d’accueillir jusqu’à huit personnes. Les abords de la maison sont régulièrement entretenus ainsi que l’ensemble du domaine. Les deux maisons voisines sont inoccupées. Déconcertant au premier abord mais finalement un gage supplémentaire de tranquillité. La maison fait partie d’un domaine privé et sécurisé, parcouru par des canaux débouchant sur la mer. Le site est splendide malgré des disparités entre les maisons fraîchement rénovées (comme celle que nous avons louée) et d’autres à rénover. Deux piscines sont accessibles au sein du domaine, parfaites pour les adultes et les enfants. Bon à savoir : il est facile mais indispensable de louer un moyen de locomotion, mobylette ou voiture pour rejoindre les commerces, restaurants et la plage, distants de quelques kilomètres. Pour résumer, une destination et une maison où l'on a envie de revenir.

The house has a home theater with a connector provided to connect its own sources. We have wifi available during the fortnight operation and seamless flow. The three bedrooms are independent and communicate with the living center. This provision is that the room does not have a lot of light. This is the only condition that we can [?] about the villa The patio adjoining the kitchen table is nice and can accommodate up to 8 people. The surroundings of the house are regularly maintained and the whole area. Two neighboring houses are unoccupied. Disconcerting at first, but eventually an additional guarantee of peace. The house is part of a private and secure area, crossed by canals leading to the sea The site is beautiful despite differences between the houses newly renovated (like the one we rented) and other renovation. Two swimming pools are available in the area, perfect for adults & children. Good to know it is easy but essential to hire a means of transport, motorbike or drive to the shops, restaurants and the beach, a few kilometers away. To summarize, a destination and a home where we want to return. I AM SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED YOUR STAY AT MY HOUSE. I APPRECIATE YOUR IN DEPTH REVIEW! I WILL FIX THE LIGHTS & REMIND PEOPLE OF THE NEED FOR IMMEDIATE TRANSPORT! THANKS AGAIN!

Very comfortable stay with family

We spent three weeks in this house and loved every minute of it. Everything you can ask for in order to spend a lovely time away from it all was provided as the house is fully furnished, as in the description and even more. As the house has just been renovated, it was incredibly clean and had a brand-new feel to it. The house is set in a resort about 5 min from Laem Mae Phim beach, which makes for a very quiet setting, and most houses in the resort were unoccupied at the time of our stay, so we felt like the whole resort was ours. If you are looking for some action however, you may want to choose another location. We came with our four children aged 10-15 and they enjoyed the pools and the resort beach, as well as the entertainment facilities in the house. Laem Mae Phim beach and its many restaurants are easily accessible by car or motorbike. The owner, Brie, was diligent in making sure all our needs were fulfilled in an incredibly attentionate fashion. Barry, who looks after the property, will help you with local needs. If you're looking for a calm and relaxing place to spend a few weeks to enjoy the sun in a very comfortable location, I would definitely recommend this house.

As Michel had mentioned, the Laem Mae Phim area is not the location for night-time entertainment of the disco club type. There is however, plenty to do and see. Fishing, snorkeling, diving, boat trips, night cruises, shopping, great restaurants and local entertainment are among the activities you will find here. This area definitely provides a relaxing atmosphere, void of the tourist trap feel yet for those more adventurous, plenty of outdoor activities abound. Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Thailand is a wonderful place to live/visit. The people are friendly, the food is fantastic, the culture is interesting and the price is right! This particular area is void of go-go bars and tourism. It's a 'locals' hang-out and the people are incredibly welcoming to visitors. There are plenty of English speaking people around though, so not to worry. This location is a nice hidden gem.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Close proximity to beaches and not too far from the airport. 2 hours to paradise. It is not overwrought with tourists. There are really good people here. It is a safe, pleasant community with lots to do.
