Disappointing

Our visit to this property was extremely disappointing, mainly due to serious security and safety concerns that led us to leave shortly after arriving. The only lock on the front door was a smart lock requiring only a PIN—no deadbolt, chain, or other lock inside. Additionally, at least one back door lock was broken and didn’t secure properly. This lack of basic physical security was immediately concerning.The neighborhood raised further alarm. We heard multiple sirens within the first 30 minutes and looked up local crime stats—multiple sources, including Boston PD’s crime map, indicated the area has one of the highest crime rates in greater Boston. Based on our observations and this research, we did not feel secure staying there with our family.The property’s condition also did not match the listing. Upon arrival, there were 2 disabled vehicles in the driveway and there were boxes and trash piled just inside the entry, making it hard to bring in luggage. Inside, we saw large cracks in walls and ceilings, peeling paint, poorly patched holes, and a sagging ceiling section. There was even a visible break in one radiator’s gas line.Given these security, safety, and condition issues, we didn’t feel comfortable staying and chose to find alternative accommodations.

Diamond in the Rough

The apartment is beautifully decorated, the kitchen modern and fully equipped (plus a generous basket of snacks), the beds comfortable, towels thick, great showers, and Evon is very responsive to every question. Outside, the neighborhood is a bit run down, and there were a lot of boxes in the 1st floor entry (that may be temporary), but we were given access to the long driveway that fit all 3 of our cars, so we felt better about parking there. The street was quiet at night. The only complaint we had about the inside was one bathroom did not have towel bars or hooks. But nothing is perfect, and this got pretty close!

Property was perfect in every way. Very responsive and attentive host. Location was farther from tourists things. But we were in need of something after we had been double book at another spot.

Really spacious apartment

In town for a family gathering. 3 generations stayed in the rental. The unit was clean, well stocked and well outfitted with all the amenities. The host was VERY communicative and accommodating. The neighborhood had some issues with noise and activity but we never felt unsafe. I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful

We could not have had a more gracious or hospitable host. Communication was wonderful, space clean as a whistle and LOTS of extras. Items like umbrellas, panchos, sunscreen, snacks were plentiful. Kitchen had EVERYTHING and kitchen and baths are brand new. Dining room held 12 of us, a bit tight but important to us. She even provided a grill! We love to grill and this was a big deal to us. Bedrooms were a good size and beds comfortable. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Pleasant and Spacious Apartment

The apartment was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Some remodeling was being finished but overall very nice. The neighborhood can be loud some nights with cars and loud music but nothing that kept us up. The surrounding stores and their surroundings a little questionable but what places doesn’t t have that? They were also doing some remodeling below us but it was not too bad.

Great find for big groups to stay in Boston

This was a great find to house our family for graduation festivities in Cambridge. The beds are comfortable and there was lots of room to spread out. We were able to park our 2 cars in the driveway but there was also free street parking available. The commuter T line was a 10 minute walk and the Mattapan trolley (which connects to the T) is about a 15 minute walk. The owner will send you checkin and WIFI codes the day of arrival. Our checkin code was off by one digit and Evon was quick to respond, including coming over to make sure we got in okay. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

NU Graduation celebration

Rental was clean and well appropriated. Each room had a TV and air conditioning unit which was helpful as it got a little warm during our stay. Would recommend to others and would stay again when traveling to Boston!

Wonderful Apartment

This place was amazing! Definitely the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Evon was incredibly easy to contact and had an extremely well stocked home. We were traveling up to Maine after Boston and this house spoiled us for all our others places. The only downside was there are steep stairs to get to the apartment so if you have trouble with stairs that’s something to consider. Once you’re in the place it’s amazing!!

Excellent home

This home was beautifully remodeled. Huge couch that all 8 of us fit. This was the best stocked home we have ever stayed in. The home owner thought of everything from snacks to laundry soap. Such a nice place and super clean. Had great little touches like a snack basket and little toiletries! Have to Uber to town, but we found Ubers quick and not super expensive.

Excellent prooerty

5 of us stayed for a long weekend at this property and it was everything the listing offered and more. The property host was very responsive with everything. We had one minor issue to be fixed when we moved in and she had someone over to fix it within 15 minutes! She went over and above to have any amenities you would need in the home. The house was clean and comfortable and very well appointed with all of your needs. . She provided drinks and snacks and items in the bathrooms in case you forgot any of your essentials. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and even in the heat wave the air conditioners were quiet and worked extremely well. It is about 25 minutes from downtown but we would recommend this property and if back in Boston were would stay here again.

Baseball Getaway

My brother and our sons planned a trip to Boston to watch our hometown team (St. Louis Cardinals) play the Red Sox. We needed more space than a hotel could provide at a reasonable price. We found those exact accommodations at the Wellington Hill VRBO! The owner was always available when I needed to ask him a question. Everything you might need was provided for us. The place was clean as a whistle and provided us with a comfortable stay. We'd certainly recommend it to family and friends and anyone else who might be interested in spending a weekend in Boston. This property was everything advertised. It was spacious and bright and well stocked with amenities that we didn't expect. The kitchen had all that we needed for cooking "in." The furniture was comfortable as were all of the beds. We all enjoyed our stay immensely and recommend this place highly.

Beautiful and hospitable

Beautiful remodel with all of the amenities. Host is very generous; we had plenty of bottles of water and snacks. Also masks, hand sanitizer, and eye masks to wear at night if wanted. Was a little bit farther from downtown Boston than I had anticipated, but still only a 20 minute drive to the airport to pick up more family. Also an easy walk to the commuter rail station. Overall, highly recommended!

Perfect Place to stay

We had 8 people staying at the property for the Boston Marathon. The place is very clean and very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the host was amazing! We had flight difficulties and they worked to accommodate us. They had many little things they thought of that made our trip easier and more comfortable. My messages were always replied to promptly. Every bedroom (including the kitchen) has a TV. The sectional couch was very comfortable and roomy enough for all of us to fit and watch a movie. This is by far the best host I have booked with! I highly recommend this place. :-)
