Ideally located in one of the best locations in Aspen, just 1 Block from the Little Nell Hotel and the Gondola, our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo is extremely comfortable and well-appointed, ideal for 1-4 guests, but the sofa sleeper can accommodate 2 more guests if desired.

Located on the ground floor of the Chateau Aspen building, our cozy cabin-like condominium is right next door to Mezzaluna restaurant, and across the street from the City Market, our favorite local grocery store where you can find everything you will need to stock your kitchen. You'll also find across the street the famous Butcher Block, with gourmet cheeses and delicacies, the Grogg shop for wine and liquor, a pharmacy, and even fedex! Walk to all the world-class restaurants and shops, and leave your car at home. Most of our guests are repeat, and we hope you love our 'home away from home' as much as we (and they) do.

In addition to the amenities listed below, we also offer complimentary high speed internet access. There are flat screen TVs in the living room and bedrooms, and a dining table that seats up to eight, rare in a small condominium (we love to cook and entertain)! Firewood for the wood-burning fireplace is free and abundant.

In the bedrooms, you will find extremely comfortable pillow top mattresses, king bed in the master and two extra long twins in the guest room. All linens are provided, as well as bathroom amenities.

Our home and building is non-smoking, and though we love animals, pets are not allowed due to HOA building regulations. And thanks for removing your shoes/boots upon entering so we can keep our home beautiful for our guests.

*Please note: a 11.3% Aspen city tax will be charged in addition to all rates unless rentals are more than 30 days. There is a $150 departure cleaning fee and additional housekeeping service can be requested in advance. We respond immediately to any requests for availability and appreciate you visiting our site. Perfect

We have stayed in many different places in Aspen and this is now our favourite. This lovely condo ticks all our boxes - ground floor; centrally located; easy walk to main gondola, Rubey Park buses, supermarket, shops and restaurants; comfortable beds; quality kitchen appliances; quiet heating system; all in a modern and clean environment. And most of all a wonderful owner/manager. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely place to stay in a great resort area

Such a great property, literally at the bottom of the ski lift and central to everything in town. Plus, there are so many great hiking trails just around the corner. The condo has the latest and greatest updates, and is so comfortable. Couldn't be a more perfect place to stay.

Little slice of downtown heaven!!

This place was exactly what we needed! The unit is beautiful, perfectly cozy, and it has the BEST location ever (everything is within a 3-mile-radius)! The fully-equiped kitchen allowed us to stay in for dinner, and just enjoy the views and create lasting memories! The owner was TOP-NOTCH!! Not only did he make the whole process so easy, he even made reservations at his favorite restaurant for us! Thank you!!

This was our first time in Aspen and I can assure you it won't be our last!

In the heart of Aspen

Apt 21 is on ground floor directly in center of building. First reactions - Not outrageous luxury but a wonderful layout in living room with fireplace and spacious layout for kitchen with lots of comfy bar chairs. Kudos for lots of electrical outlets. internet connection is good speed, enough for streaming tv. Have owner give you the pw info in advance. It's easy to connect. An excellent lcd tv with extra HDMI port to plug in my Amazon Firestick for watching netflix, amazon video and espnwatch.

Two twins in 2nd bdrm quite adaquate with limited storage plus it's own bathroom with shower ( no bath). Master bdrm quite nice with king and good size closet for hanging stuff plus throwing socks etc into open spaces. Excellent quality 21 in or so HDTV in master adjustable for viewing angle. Reading lamps (yes! ). Master bath adequate with basic bathtub plus shower head.

Impressions after an evening in the apartment. Love the living room. Mirrored wall with widows having a very neat feature allowing the blinds to be pulled down from the top to see the top of Aspen mtn with privacy settings in the room, or normal use to lay on the couch view the wonderful downpours of snow when they occur. No major view of mountain to speak of but you're supposed to see that during the day. Fireplace is great. Provides a great ambience ( hint: walk over to city market and buy some firelogs. Light just one then add real logs and you have a great easy to produce fire for the room). Plenty of free logs right outside the doorway as a pleasant extra for having warm evenings.

Incredible convenience to City Market and Grog Shop and to Aspen Mountain and Aspen in general. Great living room ambience in evening. Good management with local support for problems. Great owner with great communication for first time user.

Great Location but drawbacks

We (2+2) stayed in this well appointed, albeit compact (912 sq ft), ground floor apartment in late March 2016. While it was as described, it has two big drawbacks: noise and privacy.

The master bedroom is on the back of the property. This is a busy service alley and between 7am and 9am on weekdays it can be very noisy with garbage collection, deliveries to restaurants and so on. Little chance of a restful lie in, if that is important. We also had noisy construction work going on in an adjacent apartment which added to the misery, but I guess that will be completed now!

Secondly, the apartment is on the ground floor facing into a courtyard (or backing onto the lane). While some might like this, we could not get the balance between privacy and daylight correct. You cannot have both, although different blinds or window tinting could improve that.

If these two things are important to you then I suggest you instead opt for a higher floor, side or front facing apartment in this very well located building.

Incredible Location

This 2 bed is exactly what we needed. Across the street from the grocery store! The last 4 years we stayed at a nice hotel on Main Street - we ate out every night which certainly drove up cost for the trip. When we stayed here we went to the grocery store every few days and literally cooked 90% of our meals at the condo. Our trip cost was cut in half. The unit is gorgeous and could not have been more perfect for my family. It took us about 5 minutes to feel like we were at home. This will be my go-to condo every year! Auto book me.
