Summer Getaway on Lake Windermere

Completely renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath condo at Akiskinook resort. Akiskinook is a year round family destination that offers tennis, pickle ball, basketball, Racquetball and badminton. The community centre is equipped with a games room and a newly renovated pool and hot tub (spring 2020). Unfortunately the pool is closed at this time due to covid protocols. The private beach and Marina on lake Windemere is just a short walk from your front door. In the winter enjoy the mountain views, skiing at panorama or try your luck on the worlds longest skating path!

The condo features almost 1300sq feet of upgraded living space all on one floor. 3 nice sized bedrooms with a large modern on suite in the master bedroom. The 2 guest rooms sleep 6 with their own 4 piece bathroom. Plenty of kitchen space, with a 6 seat kitchen table. Cozy living room with a couch and a tv with cable. Plenty of stuff around the home to keep the kids busy including board games, a Wii, iPad, Bluetooth speaker, dvds and more. Out the front door is a small patio equipped with a bbq and picnic table.

Perfect location for a family or group looking to take advantage of the many things to do the Columbia valley.

The nearby town of Invermere accommodates to the year round attractions in the area featuring upscale restaurants, shops, and pubs.

Golfers are spoiled for choice with world class golf courses just minutes away. Be sure to check out Grey Wolf Bc’s #1 public course

Ski and snowboard enthusiasts we are just 10.9 miles to panorama ski hill.

After a day on the slopes be sure to treat yourself to one of the nearby hot springs. These world renowned, natural mineral spas are open year round and a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate.

The valley is also home to numerous amusement parks for kids, mini golf, bowling, go karts and river rafting

Great Home, Well-Equipped in a Nice Community

This home is great for a family getaway or for a group of friends. It's in a nice, quiet community a few minutes from the water. The place was very cozy, and we would stay here again. The hosts were communicative and helped us with an issue.

Great vacation spot

Property was phenomenal. Everything you could possibly need is included, Justin has thought of everything you could need. Justin is incredibly responsive to inquiries and made it a breeze to stay here. Would highly reommend this location. Kids absolutely loved the ammenities and multiple bunk beds to chose from.

Love it

Great stay! The complex has everything we want, the unit itself was equipped well and perfect for our large family. The unit is close to the basketball/tennis/pickleball court area, which is great for the kids to go to independently. Short walk to the club house for the pool, workout equipment, rec space. Beach is a great private space with just the right amount of room.

Great, cozy condo!

We had such a nice time staying here for two nights. The place was clean, cozy and really well set up. Everything had been arranged with guests in mind. The condo itself was really cute and comfy. The kitchen was perfect for cooking. Justin was really communicative and friendly. He checked in with me to make sure everything was going well. Can't wait to stay again!

Clean, accessible, many extras

We went for thanksgiving and used the kitchen for cooking and big table for games. Really appreciated the many extras like coffee machine, salt and pepper, games, shampoo, tonnes of towels, lots of wine glasses :) The fireplace was really cozy, the bed was like a cloud, appreciated the speaker for music, and cable was good as well. 1 suggestion-bring slippers to level up the coziness factor. Looking forward to enjoying this place one summer!

Windemere Vacation

The condo was everything we expected from the ad. Quiet, very comfortable beds , lots of room to spread out. Spent lots of time on the decks. Would definitely stay again. Justin was great to deal with.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo was well stocked, very spacious, and met all our needs. Lots of fun board games for the couple rainy days we had while we were there. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had, check in was simple. The resort itself is fantastic, there is no shortage of things to do and our son really loved going to the beach every day. We will definitely be back.

Great resort for a family holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. The condo was well stocked and surprisingly cool given the heat wave. Justin checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed biking around the resort and we appreciated the fact that they were in a safe environment. Although the pool was closed, the lake was great and the recreation centre had some fun games. Akiskinook Is on a hillside, so keep that in mind if you have travellers with reduced mobility. However, if you’re staying in the resort, this condo is great one to choose. Thanks for a great time!

Amazing location, amazing host, loved it!

We loved our stay. The property was spotless! It was perfect for our group! The beds were very comfortable and we all had an excellent sleep. With the fireplace too, it was a cozy place to stay. I would definitely recommend this property and stay again. Plus, the landlord/host is fantastic!

Winter getaway

We had a great time staying at this condo. The fireplace was really nice to sit by in the evenings and during the day we went out snowboarding and skating. The condo is really well equipped with everything for cooking and the owners were so nice to have left out an assortment of teas, coffees and chocolates for us. Thanks for the great experience!

Great Week

We stayed in the condo the week of October 12th and had a great time. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the week. The kids loved playing on the Wii and it was nice to be able to turn on the fireplace on cold mornings. Only disappointment was the pool and hot tub were still closed for renos - nothing the owner could have done about that. Overall would recommend this condo.
