Perfect get-away!

Loved the house but really enjoyed the river and nature around us the most. Very responsive owner and our stay was fantastic. My only complaint is that we couldnt stay for a few more days ;)

Awesome house and very responsive owner. We had a blast and would definitely do it again!

We had 4 adults and 2 kids, Friday - Sunday, house was perfect for our needs. The river is beautiful in June and we enjoyed fishing and just hanging outside.

Quiet Weekend Retreat

The house was very clean and comfortable. Washer snd dryer was unexpected but came in handy.The house is right on the river which is exactly what I wanted. Very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sunroom. It was a short drive to Ichetucknee. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to visit.

Nice place

The place is nice and clean. My only complaint is the master bathroom has a tiny toilet. I get it its a small space but it was so tiny we didnt use the toilet. Overall the place was fine but it is small in the kitchen

Blue Cottage on the river

The house is charming. It is dated but clean and well-maintained. The room with the fireplace that looks out onto the river, is a beautiful place for families to hang out. I would suggest that the owner clean the windows to improve the river view. The porch is a wonderful place to read or hangout. Great place to step away from it all.

Awful experience. There was no water after 1 hour 1/2 that we were there. Tried calling the owner. No answer. Made multiple calls and never answered. We went out the next day with the family. Owner replied back at 2 pm the next day. When we got back to the place arpund 7 pm there was still no water. Water was back up until 9pm. We did not get no refund at all. We planned a family getaway but the place was awful.

Peaceful stay by the river

The location was great and the place was very clean. However the dock was destroyed in the hurricane last year which was a solid reason for booking this place. The damage was not disclosed prior to booking and I was notified after I had paid in full. This basically left me to sit on the edge of a small cliff all weekend. Also the process of getting the key to the house raises many safety alarms. The inside of the property, furnishings, and kitchen ware are all very old and not updated. There are lots of other properties around. This place was very expensive for the quality of stay. I’d recommend somewhere else.

Riverside Dump

Pictures do NO JUSTICE! This place was a dump. Ac barely worked vent in 2nd bedroom didn't work at all and it was open. Ceiling fan in 2nd bedroom was broke. Home was filthy,dust and bugs everywhere. Florida room windows was so filthy you couldn't see out to see river. Carpet mixmatched. Beds hard as rocks. Dock rotted and washed away.riverbank full of weeds.weeds growing out roof of porch, scrap metal piled up,barrels of chemicals around yard, nothing of what we expected! We Contacted rental company and was blown off..Never again..

Awful - Not even close to a 'paradise'

No number at property to help with locating-checked in after calling host to ascertain property location-was showering when water stopped coming out of showerhead-called host and explained that we were in our 70's and could not stay with immediate issues occuring-advised host we would need to leave immediately in the morning and we discussed that I would get a credit/refund-we left right away in the AM. Host had indicated he would contact Evolve in the AM regarding refund. We never received a refund and have been advised that without a video and/or pictures to support our claim, there would be no refund (about $1300!) Other issues upon arrival: musty smell in areas with older carpet, main closet had no room to hang clothes, I would not have even considered bathing in tub in hall bath, advertised dock was destroyed and not usable, shower door in main bath needed good cleaning. Evolve is a third party and will not be addressing consumer needs in my opinion. There are there for the host. This stay has changed my opinion of using VRBO for vacation stays. We left there and went to a hotel so we ended up paying double for our time in FL. Very bad taste in my mouth over this.

A nice weekend getaway

This home is a mobile home that was built in the 80’s and the decor and amenities still reflect that era, as can be seen in the pictures. Nevertheless, the home was clean and comfortable. The dock for fishing was a little sketchy, but my son did enjoy getting up early and fishing, so being right on the river was a nice feature of the home. The home is very close to neighbors on both sides and thin walls make it possible to hear most noises outside, which make it difficult for my daughter to sleep the first night. Things were more quiet the second night, plus we were all tired from tubing the Ichetucknee so we all slept well! The Florida room with all its windows was my favorite room in the house, but we could not figure out how to open the door going outside from that room. Also, one of the set of blinds in that room is broken and can’t be held open on its own. All in all, it was a fine house for the short getaway. Very clean and easy to check in and out.

Wonderful!

Everything was great from the ease of communication with the property owner to the cleanliness of the property. My only suggestion is to place the street number somewhere visible as it was a little difficult to find the property. Other than that, our stay was fantastic!

Great weekend

Outstanding place for a weekend get away. The house is just as pictured. There is a small bbq grill that you can use to grill out. Bring your camera, we seen a lot of wild life. We had a great weekend and look foward to staying here again. The host is excellent and communication before our stay was easy.

Rainy small town reunion.

We came to the small town of Branford for a family get together. It rained most of the time but this cute little rental was perfect for watching the weather on the river from the sun porch. Already recommended this property to other relatives for their stay in the future.

Good stay for a few days

Found the home to be perfect for a few days as we explored the area (several nice springs and state parks nearby). Loved being on the river although too cold to sit on the dock. Very nice stay.

Absolutely amazing.

This place is awesome!! The pictures just don't do it any justice. It's perfect for nature lovers. We saw deer every morning, ended up seeing 11 all together. We caught an eel right off of the dock at night. Most of our time was spent outside or fishing. The location couldn't be any better. Sounds travels on the river but we only heard one person talking the whole entire trip. It really feels like your out here by yourself. The house is on a long dirt road, that's were we seen the deer every morning. The house was very clean, and we'll supplied on toiletries. I highly recommend this house to anyone who loves the outdoors! There's a grocery store 5 mins away, and also some fast food restaurants about 2 mins away. It's the best of both worlds. If you need to run to town it's right up the road, but once you get back to the house it seems like your in the middle of no where. My Fiance and I loved our stay and will definitely be back! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
