Niché dans la ville pittoresque et historique d'Oxford, Pride and Joy est un endroit formidable pour ceux qui cherchent à remonter le temps - lorsque vous pouvez vous promener dans le magasin du coin pour le lait et la crème glacée, serpenter dans la rue jusqu'aux produits locaux debout, ou simplement asseyez-vous sur le porche et sirotez une limonade tout en admirant le paysage. The property was great for our dog! The fenced in yard gave us the confidence to allow him off leash in the yard and allowed us to relax on the front porch.

Our stay was fabulous! We were there with Family for a wedding in Easton and the location of this home was perfect for us. We had six adults and ann eight month old and this home was very comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed having space in the kitchen to prepare food and eat a meal as a family and loved the front porch with the rocking chairs. The communication with the host was wonderful and they answered all my many questions. Everything was clean and comfy, and I would highly recommend!

Classic Eastern Shore Stay

A lovely quaint Oxford home in a great location. Quiet, with views of the Harbor and the Tred Avon River from the street. A first floor bedroom and 2 upstairs, make it possible to include older parents in a family stay. To relax together with coffee in the morning and share wine porch side in the afternoon is an experience that no hotel can duplicate.

Perfect for us!

We loved our two weeks with you! The location is convenient to all this area has to offer, including walks into a Oxford To visit The Scotsman ice cream shop! The home is clean, cozy, well stocked, comfortable and nicely decorated. The one small problem we had was immediately addressed. We would definitely recommend this property!

Great Get-a-Way

My sister and our husbands took a week this fall. The house was great, well supplied, well laid out, lots of room, nicely decorated. Walking distance to market and coffee shop. Visited St. Michaels, Easton and even a trip out to Salisbury. House numbers were not evident - and the house had changed colors from the listing. Contacting the property manager solved our problem quickly.

Charming Weekend Retreat

Pride and Joy is the perfect house for a long weekend in delightful Oxford. Charming decor and spacious living area ideal for friends and family. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the house and Oxford. The Scottish Island Creamery is well worth a visit!

Nice space for a quiet getaway

The house was lovely for a quiet stay over the holidays. We enjoyed walking around town during the day and sitting around the fireplace in the evenings. It would have been nice if the house had come more stocked with items like basic cleaning supplies and firewood, so future visitors should be sure to bring their own.

Week at Pride and Joy Cottage

Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely house. Charming town (Oxford). Only complaint is that there was very little room in the kitchen for a renter to put things because it was filled with owners' belongings. We had to pile food on the counters. ESVR was great- the rental process could not have been easier.

I got to visit the Mystery Loves Company shop but didn't get to the museum. We also enjoyed the Pope Tavern & Scottish Highland Creamery... on more than one occasion! Neighbors were warm & friendly. We were happy to meet so many other dog lovers. The cottage was charming & impeccably clean. We needed customer service once & they responded quickly & efficiently. A PERFECT vacation. As far as recommending it to others... I'm not sure because I want to keep this my little secret :-) I'm kidding. I'd recommend this trip to anyone!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was clean, well-appointed, and in a very quiet little neighborhood. Great choice for families with small children, as the folks that own this house have a few - several baby gates available, as well as lots of child-friendly plates/cups/silverware, booster seat, etc. Bunk beds have a nice high rail, and I felt comfortable with my 3 and 5 year olds sleeping up there. The TV turned right on to Disney Junior, and my kids had a blast taking a ride around the block in the wagon that was in the yard. Recommend the owners put black-out curtains in the bedroom with the bunk beds though!

Every room was immaculate and well appointed, cheerfully and seemingly professionally decorated with colorful walls, comfortable furniture, good lighting, and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. We especially enjoyed discovering all the crab decorations - on the walls, the dishes in the kitchen, and even on one of the shower curtains. We were 4 people (sisters) and the bedrooms were comfortable, even the room with the bunk beds. We loved the porch and sat out there one night enjoying a thunderstorm from the cozy rocking chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and immaculate. We enjoyed the living room, the dining room and the kitchen for meals and chatting. The location was right in town and we rode our rented bikes everywhere. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who appreciates cozy ambience, professional decorating, and easy access to everything in Oxford. The Eastern Shore Rental staff was accommodating and professional. Oxford is a quaint historical town worth visiting.
