This is a wonderful house in a beautiful location. Kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were spacious, location was convenient, and Lake Michigan beach was glorious. This friend group has traveled together for 20 years all over the country and this is our favorite stay. Thank you.

Fantastic vacation!

We had the most wonderful week ever! Eight adults (our family) enjoyed the house, which is perfectly outfitted, and the location is fantastic. The beach was washed out this year, so that was a little disappointing, but otherwise, an amazing week!

Just to clarify the beach this past year was much smaller in some areas along the shoreline, which is not typical of our beach area over the last 12 years. There was still plenty of beach areas to walk, sit and enjoy the awesome view and play in the water!

Winter retreat was spectacular!

What a great weekend away! Even in the Winter months, this beautiful home is such a relaxing retreat away! The view of Lake Michigan from multiple rooms is breathtaking! The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and great to work with. We will definitely be back!

Lakefront Oasis

What a beautiful property! The view is absolutely stunning! Watching the sunset each night is spectacular. Walking the beach is peaceful and refreshing. They've done an incredible job of keeping the house in great shape, it's simplicity yet timeless decor, allows the opportunity to enjoy, sit back and relax! Hard to believe it's in Michigan! Beautiful lakeshore retreat

This property is a special gem! From the beautiful lakeshore scenery to the simple clean open floor plan, it is a great space for family and friends to come together! The owners are great to work with, always accommodating and friendly. Love the comfort of the home, from sleeping to cooking in the kitchen, playing games and lounging indoors or outdoors taking in the view...it's hard to beat! We had a very lovely stay at the home. It is large and easily fit my extended family (6 adults, 3 kids under 5) with room to spare. Pictures in the listing are fairly accurate and representative, but I would actually say the home feels larger than the pictures. The home is well stocked with beach equipment (chairs, towels, toys, etc.), entertainment/activities (games, ping pong/pool table, etc.), and kitchen essentials. The highlight is the access to the lake and beach. Down just 40 steps, the beach is large enough for the family to spread out. The beach is all sandy - no rocks - and it was shallow enough for my 4 year old to venture out 20 yards into the lake and still stand. It made relaxing and enjoying the beach week easy and stress free. The home was clean and worked well overall. If I had to nitpick, I wish there were a larger outdoor dining table and more seating on the patio. However, that's only because we enjoyed spending time there so much. The indoor dining table had much the same view and came with protection from sun and bugs, so not much of a loss. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return in the future!

One of a kind Gem!

This luxurious property is a one of a kind! It is nestled back in a short scenic drive off of Lake Shore drive in a beautifully wooded area, with a picturesque view of Lake Michigan. The house is spacious and well laid out. It is well kept and the grounds are so beautiful. There are so many sweet nuggets which we enjoy....the back porch for morning coffee or watching the breathe taking sunsets, the screen porch for reading or conversing with friends, the kitchen is ideal for cooking, the basement is spacious and has a great entertainment/game area and the master bedroom is a retreat in itself with a lovely nook to read and enjoy the spectacular scenery! All the bedrooms are spacious and clean. Bedding and amenities are of great quality. The private beach in front is great for walks or there is a trail on Lake Shore for walking, running, biking or hiking. Honestly this is and was a great fit for our family and we created many good memories! Look forward to visiting again in future!!

What a Special place to us!

We have traveled all over the world and this is definitely one of our favorite places to stay! The accommodations are priceless! The interior decor is straight out of a magazine. The views from every room are breathtaking and majestic. It is surreal to wake up to every day and to enjoy spectacular sunsets each night. We feel at home with all the amenities of the house. The owners are a pleasure to work with, very helpful and gracious in sharing such a beautiful home. They have kept it so clean and accommodating to all of our needs. We have stayed both in summer and fall. We thought it couldn't get any better than the summer months with the great private beach and Lake Michigan waters to enjoy, but the Fall was absolutely stunning! The colors of the changing of the seasons, was picturesque! We even walked for miles on the beach, it was beautiful! We love the location as we go into Grand Haven, Holland and over to Spring Lake to enjoy shopping, dining and activities. There are so many great restaurants and shops in both Grand Haven and Holland. We always are sad to leave as it is such a special retreat to us! We have many fun family memories here and hope to continue to rent through out the years!

BEST VACATION EVER!!! WOW! This home is so beautiful. It's exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The landscaping is gorgeous and very well maintained and the view....WOW - it's amazing! It takes your breathe away. The owners have gone above and beyond to provide every amenity imaginable. You get lulled asleep by the crashing of the waves each night...it doesn't get better! You have a huge stretch of your own private beach to enjoy and the owners have provided all beach items as well (umbrellas, comfy chairs, beach toys, etc). This home is also ideally located. Very close to downtown Grand Haven and also close to Holland. Many wonderful restaurants, ice cream parlors, grocery stores just minutes away. We have stayed in this spectacular home for the past 2 years and will be heading back again this year. It holds so many wonderful memories there for us. It is SO difficult to leave each time. No need to head out of the country for an amazing vacation. You can search the world over and not find another place like this! Janice - Thank you for allowing us to rent each year! We feel so grateful to have found such a special place for our family to visit each year!

Fabulous location and sunsets. Great house with lots of spaces for different groups to hang out inside and out . Well equipped with beach stuff and Kitchen had all the necessary utensils for cooking and cleaning and the bathrooms and bedrooms were very well provided for. Would highly recommend for family and friends getaway. 👍🏻😑

Fabulous home on Lake Michigan

The house was perfect, even nicer than shown in the pictures. The beach this summer (2022) was plenty large, and there were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, and toys to keep everyone occupied. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The owner was available by phone as needed. We hope to return in the future!

Amazing house

My sisters and I rent a house every year somewhere in Michigan. The house has to accommodate my 7 sisters, myself and my mother. So it is necessary to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all. This house has been our favorite so far. It did not disappoint!. The pictures show the beauty of the house and location. The sound of Lake Michigan at night was amazing. My mom was so pleased with the location and we were able to watch the sunset every night. The kitchen is so well equipped that we cooked every meal. Will definitely look at returning in a couple of years.
