Outstanding and Peaceful Lake Location

Beautiful sunrises on Lake Palestine. House was perfect and in a very quiet subdivision. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is it! Great communications with owner and able to get in a bit early to unpack before exploring the surrounding areas.

Great family place

This is a great place for families with the large dining room, den, kitchen, playroom with arcade games, big yard, and pier. Not to mention an awesome view and nice neighborhood. My only suggestion to the property manager would be to clean the playroom and porch. Hope to return!

Perfect Spot for a Relaxing Get-Away!

There are too many perks to this home to count. From the views, the host communication, the clean, beautifully decorated home, to the game room downstairs for the kids to have some fun! The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors are very welcoming and polite. The Lake location is the perfect spot if you have little one's swimming. Not a lot of traffic on this area of the lake. We will definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend!

Great view

Fabulous view. Very clean Martin was very responsive. Screened in porch was great but I love the sun so spent most the time sitting on the dock. Easy check in. We had a great time. Will definitely come back. Despite a little bad weather we went to Tyler for brunch at The Grove. Highly recommend.

Wonderful home

Spent Fathers Day weekend here with my son, his two boys and my wife.Home was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The boys enjoyed the game room, playing chess and video games, but we spent more time on the dock fishing, catch and release.It was a great bonding time.Location is great! Sunrise comes in off the lake and sunset to your back as it sunsets.Great views. Close to Tyler if you want more typical city based restaurants.A zipline adventure is within 30 minute drive, a water park 20 minute drive or so.Great location!Excellent communication with management and the owner. 5 Star service.

Excellent location on the water

This was a perfectly convenient location to do a little fishing and house hunting while we were visiting Lake Palestine. The ride into Tyler for some of our meals was an easy one, but there are some nice options closer to the house, too The house is conveniently located on a quiet cul-de-sac street. We appreciated that the house was all on one level to keep everyone together. It was tastefully decorated, with plenty of seating for us. The linens/mattresses were good quality and comfortable. We enjoyed watching sunrises over the water, and the backyard's shade trees provided a bit of a break from the Texas heat in the late afternoons. The porch swing on the screened in back porch was a nice touch. I'd recommend this home for couples or a family with older kids, and would definitely book again when we're back in the area to continue our lake house hunt.

Beautiful lakefront home

We were in town for a HS fishing tournament. The location was perfect, and since I was allowed to park in the garage, had no problem getting a boat and truck in the driveway. The backyard is beautiful, but my only suggestion is to have your cleaning crew get the spiders, webs, and bugs off the screened in porch, and maybe trim the trees up a little more. Everything else was perfect! My favorite spot was the porch swing in the evening. I met your neighbors, Vicky and John, and they were so nice! We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful getaway, and we will rent this one again if we come back to Lake Palestine. The owner, Martin, was also quick to answer questions before we arrived.

Absolutely beautiful house and property! Lovely neighborhood. Close to 2 convenience stores. You will not regret this purchase for family vacation time! Only problem is trying to contact the company, they won’t answer the chats at all, and the Vrbo ap isn’t as easy to use as it could be.

Fantastic Lake Home

Gorgeous house and location on Lake Palestine. We spent a long, fabulous weekend catching up with friends. This was the perfect spot. Easy access, close enough to Tyler for restaurants and such, but enough off the beaten path to be very quiet and peaceful. Thanks, Martin, for the Kiepersol Winery and Restaurant recommendation!

Love Staying Here

Such a comfortable, welcoming home that offers everything needed for a quality stay..We have enjoyed staying here twice and it's on our "Keeper" list to return! And love the fact there's a quaint little local-owned restaurant "Windmill Cafe" in Frankston to catch a great breakfast, lunch or dinner...After all, the lady of the house wants a vacation too!

Excellent family home. Was well decorated for Christmas. Amenities did not disappoint.

We were well acquainted with this home and actually considered purchasing it a few years back. We are in the process of building a new home about 5 miles from this home. Due to the slow down with building supplies, we were not able to move in for Christmas. We inquired with Evolve to see if the home would be decorated for Christmas and we’re told that it would not be. We were told that whatever we could see in the pictures was the way the home would look. That was wrong. Because of that, we purchased a tree and unpacked some of our decorations to bring. On arrival, we found that the home had a tree and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The owner contacted us while we were there to request that we take the trash out on Monday. He was very pleasant. We found out that Evolve never told him that it was our family that simply requested to add on Dec 24th to our already planned rental (25-27th). He thought that someone else wanted the house for Christmas Eve and he wanted the home to be ready for us the next day. He would have agreed to us adding the 24th had the correct information been passed on to him. Evolve is not doing a very good job in representing the owner or keeping the property clean. One bathroom floor was very dirty. The refrigerator was very dirty. The oven was also dirty. We had to clean before we unpacked. Overall… Loved the home and all worked out perfectly for us. The owner was very nice. Evolve, however, was very disappointing.
