This is a terrific property in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is close to downtown Annapolis as well as the bridge and parks. We had a lovely time that was very relaxing.
A little slice of paradise! We absolutely loved this home. Very comfortable interior, with a super comfy couch. The back yard was the best part. The weather was perfect so we spent the majority of our time relaxing in the Adirondack chairs and watching the wildlife. We saw a Bald Eagle! We had excellent communication from our wonerful host via text. I can't say enough nice things about this wonderful place!
We immensely enjoyed our stay! The home is a peaceful retreat yet close enough to Annapolis and DC to visit! It was super clean! It was a joy to sit outside and watch the wildlife on the water during the day! Will definitely come back!
I was in town for the great Chesapeake bay swim. The house is in a great location, very close to the bridge and a short drive into town. The house was well equipped, clean, and as described.
It was a great place to enjoy family / family friend time with our sons away at college playing baseball nearby. It was lovely backyard to play corn hole with everyone and dog friendly. Enjoyed morning coffe with relaxing creek setting. Boys enjoyed fishing from the dock. Loved the scrabble game.
The home is cute and was a perfect fit for our family of 5. We enjoyed the private back yard and private dock. It was all the amenities of home, away home. Bonus - Sandy Point State Park is only 5 min away!
My boyfriend and I spent a long weekend at the house, and we had a great time. The water view was beautiful even though it was a bit chilly for fishing unfortunately. We did a lot of eating, shopping and sightseeing around Annapolis and the location was great. Thanks again!
We really enjoyed our stay. House is very nice and clean. Backyard is beautiful. We really liked staying so close to the creek. This was a very comfortable stay. Close to Annapolis. Not much fishing, but otherwise everything was great!
We just loved it. Home was clean, perfect size for our family of 5, and the location was just wonderful. We enjoyed our coffee on the dock. The boys loved the nights fishing. It’s our first visit to Annapolis and we will definitely be back!
We loved our stay. The house is well furnished and has a delightful outdoor setting. It was hard to leave the house to go see Annapolis because it was so peaceful and relaxing just to stay there. Everything was easily accessible - tour of the Naval Academy and Annapolis, Quiet Waters Dog Beach, shopping and delicious restaurants. However the best was sitting outside by the water, enjoying the air and the wildlife.
Long weekend to see son/grandson and our extended family. This super cute, super clean cottage is just what we were looking for - equipped w/ fishing poles, crab cages and board games, great beds. Beautiful View - just plain relaxing
we will definitely be back.
Fantastic pet friendly house close to the Bay Bridge. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely consider staying here again, but will make sure to stay longer.

Great location
Location was wonderful - nice to be on the water. The photos need to be updated outside. Furniture and kitchen supplies need to be upgraded - Need to fix the floor in the bedroom - could use a ladder on the dock for kayaking and paddle board - but a very nice place to do all those activities:) I would go back!
The house is cute and comfortable, as we expected. The living room furniture could use some updating but everything was as pictured so no surprises. My daughters and I were impressed with the beautiful flower pots on the patio and the nice landscaping. View of the peaceful water and herons flying by was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Very pleasant place!
I was pleasantly surprised with the ample seating both in and outside the home. I thought the home could offer more standard amenities, however, given the price. For example, i couldn’t find an iron nor steamer for clothing, and the can opener was quite outdated and not functional. Otherwise.l, it was cozy and comfortable & the serene setting out back can’t be beat.
We stayed at this cottage on Meredith Creek in Annapolis for nine nights while visiting our daughter and family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We rarely stay in new rentals with few reviews, but we’re glad we did. The River Road cottage was in a quiet neighborhood with a spacious backyard, nice dock on the creek for fishing and crabbing, nice patio with fire pit and only 15 minutes to downtown. It is also only five minutes from Sandy Point State Park on Chesapeake Bay. Our two grandkids visited each day and we caught several fish off the dock and were able to play games in the back yard.
John was an excellent host and very congenial. We arrived late and were pleasantly surprised to find a chilled bottle of wine awaiting us. He called to check on us and brought over a log for the fire pit and was friendly and courteous.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable with great beds and nice bath linens. We watched birds of all types from the dock and back patio as well as some passing neighborhood boaters. It was a great location in the busyness of Annapolis. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and comfortable place, this is it. The cottage although older has been well kept up with a remodeled bathroom, nice TV, and nice outdoor furniture.
All in all this was the perfect place for us.

Great view
This is more of a beach cottage than a waterfront home, and as a cottage it had its limitations. The so called 3rd bedroom was a cold bunk bed affair, accessed off the 2nd bedroom. The house was very cold on the bedroom side, and each bedroom had supplementary electric heaters. There is no master , the 1 bath was adequate. The kitchen was well sized and well stocked. The living room featured former exterior furniture plus a couch. The TV and Channels available were good. Overall, this seems an experiment in finding out how much you can get for so little invested. If so, for us, that experiment failed.
