Really good location. Beach is a quick walk and stores are about a block or two away. Nice view. Bed is comfortable. Toiletries are stocked very lightly so plan to bring shampoo, conditioner and lotion or go to an ABC store after you arrive.
We were happy to use the apartment as our home base as it was easy to walk to everything. We loved going for runs along the canal and then walks in the evening along the beach.Note about parking: reminder to keep your ticket stub when you enter in order to get the 'free' parking because without the ticket, it is difficult to deal with the parking people. It was a breeze once we found our ticket and then kept our tickets in the car each day.We would definitively stay there again. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the sliding door but it was fixed the very next day. Highly recommend!
The condo is spacious and offers a marvellous view just by looking out the glass sliding door! Even better, Dimond Head is well in sight when stepping out onto the balcony. The location is very convenient: less than 10-minute walk to Waikiki beach, shops, and restaurants. My family and I took walks in the neighbourhood almost every day during our stay and had fun time visiting International Market Place and Royal Hawaiian Center. Parking is free and was easy to find a parking space. The laundry room is only 10 steps away from the condo. Can pay by credit card through an app or coins (quarter). Although there was a misunderstanding on check in process, the issue was quickly resolved after I filled out a check-in form at the security desk on the ground level. Chris and Sara were responsive and helpful to my inquiries. Highly recommended to anyone who is considering to vacation in Waikiki.
My daughter and I spent New Years week at this rental. It was perfect for us. We arrived a bit early and the room was still being cleaned. We decided to drop our bags at the front desk and get some supplies. Because you are not a hotel guest…they charge 5 a bag to do this. Chris and Sara authorized an early check in as soon as the room was ready which was great. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and glasses and everything we needed really. Some basic food items had been left behind from various renters…some of these came in handy. The beds were comfy. There are lots of extra pillows and blankets. We did not use the pull out in the living room. Everything worked well in the bathroom…but we couldn’t locate an electrical outlet in there…which was a bit problematic. Adding a full length mirror to the unit would be a plus! The beach chairs and toys are well used. We donated a boogie board to the cause. It was super handy to have these available. The sliding glass door out to the patio is quite hard to move…but once out there…what a wonderful view!! We were able to watch the fireworks from the unit, which was great! The garbage area was right down the hall…as well as the coin laundry. This was very handy and easy.We used the pool a few times…it was quite busy and only gets the morning sun. It can get quite chilly once in the shade.Shops and restaurants were all in walking distance. Plenty of options for beach swimming.
Thank you to Chris and Sara for sharing their gem with us. The location is perfect…we feel it’s on the best end of Waikīkī Beach. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but this suite has been reno’d and is lovely….we would not hesitate to stay here again. Chris and Sara were responsive to our queries and willing to help, when we needed it. We had access to the pool, which we didn’t use, and the weight room, which we used daily…it had everything we needed, for a small hotel gym. We loved our morning views from the lanai and the evening walks along the strip….lots to see! We had a car and loved that this spot included free parking, thank you! We left each day to explore the island, but this was a great home base. Mahola, The O’Sullivan Family. ,
Just finished 3 weeks at Chris's condo. What a great spot - we stay at the Sunset or Banyan each year, and this time, it was at the Sunset. The condo was clean, functional and well equipped, and made our stay a breeze. There were 3 of us and the place worked quite well (even up to 4). The kitchen was fantastic - all you needed to cook - and the bedroom and bathrooms were as expected. The only slight negative is the sofa couch is not comfortable as a couch (didn't try it as a bed). Thanks Chris!
Great hosts, super easy communication. Great instructions left inside the apartment. Parking was super easy and such a bonus to have in Waikiki.
The beds were quite soft, the views are stunning. Really comfortable apartment and the building overall was quiet, didn’t really hear any other guests while there.
Great location
We had a wonderful stay at this condominium. The unit is located on the 28th floor, offering stunning views of the ocean and Diamond Head, which were absolutely breathtaking. The room was very clean, and it was well-stocked with kitchen supplies and essentials like toilet paper, making our stay very comfortable.
The only minor inconveniences were the absence of shampoo and body soap, and the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger.
Despite these small issues, we would love to stay here again when we return to Waikiki.
The condo is bright & airy, nice view of Diamondhead/Waikiki Beach The hosts are extremely polite and answer any questions I had immediately I would definitely stay there again 😊
The location was perfect and a short walk to the beach. You could see the gorgeous Waikiki sunsets from the balcony. Great view of Diamond Head. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for the week - plenty of bath and beach towels, cleaning supplies, dish soap, laundry soap. Would definitely stay there again.
Had a big family vacation with all the families having their own condos in the building. Was a great time and our condo was definitely one of the better ones! Was a great space and was fully equipped with everything we needed.
Overall stay wasn't too bad - nice view (tho blocked by other buildings, still good and as described), and renovated apartment, definitely modern & cleaner compared to other properties' photos you may find in Waikiki as most of buildings there are quite old.
However, couple of issues we just really couldn't let go:
- Bathtub clogging issue: This was issue from Day 1. I believe they need hair catcher or something placed. It appears cleaner did not care too much about cleaning the bathtub drain after previous customers. I contacted owners and while they replied that night with solution (bringing plumber next day), this end up not happening. My mum ended up digging out hairs and such in the drain with chopsticks as it just doesn't make sense to wait long time for dirty water to go down after one's shower before next one showers. Owners messaged late that night that plumber cancelled and offer to come next day at 11pm or later, but what had to be done was already done by that time.
- Our last night was also ruined by random events. Apparently there was a fire started on 26th floor and while I'm grateful it wasn't our floor but still worried us! Whole night from 6pm, there were multiple fires and we were asked to come all outside the building and wasn't allowed to go in till 10ish and ofc all roads were blocked with police + fire trucks. Quite distressful experience and we were honestly exhausted, and had to stay up till late to finish packing. Unlike hotel, no compensation...
My sister, my daughter and I came to Oahu for 6 nights to celebrate multiple things. My daughter just graduated high school🥳 She also just got her drivers license. My sister was celebrating her last mortgage payment being paid ☺️
We had a Great time! The property was clean, comfortable and very close to the beach, and many great spots for dining and shopping.
We drove to Sans Souci beach 3 days in a row. Great spot to lounge on the beach, and snorkel. I saw 3 sea turtles 🐢 and many tropical fish.
Our flight home was scheduled very late at night. The property manager was kind to allow us to check out later than the contracted 10am time. This allowed us to stay in a cool (AC was very quick to cool the room) and safe place (we didn’t have to keep all of our luggage in the rental car all day) Thank you Chris and Sara for hosting us. We will remember many moments from this trip
From The very beginning the host was easy to communicate with and answering questions in regards to the rental.
Very fast in responding during the stay as well. Accommodated us well with checking out late last minute. Beach toys were a hit with the toddler!
Short walk to the beach that has a great area for small kids to swim. Amazing view to enjoy coffee every morning!
The only downfall to this property was checking in We had a rental car that was too tall to fit into the garage and having to go back to the airport to get a different vehicle with two young kids after a full day of travel was exhausting. And super hard to find street parking. We let the host know immediately about it.
We will definitely rebook your visiting again in the future!
We were so happy with this rental. The host was super communicative and got back to us right away any time we needed. It was two blocks from Waikiki and there is a bus stop a block away. It's on the 28th floor so we could see the ocean and Diamond Head from the balcony. I think the thing that I was most happy with is that the beds were comfortable! I would highly recommend, and if I ever go back I would definitely rent here again.
The condo was very well equipped for cooking meals and going to the beach. Parking in the attached garage was great. (Easy in and out access). Air conditioning cooled the place down very quickly. Good storage in the bathroom made it easy for two people to share it without fighting for a place to put your things. Pictures on website are accurate.
We were worried about being on a high floor and waiting for elevators. On the first day (Sunday) two of the four elevators were not working causing lines. Fortunately, the elevators were fixed right away (Monday) and after that there were no issues and getting to our floor was quick. Overall, a very nice stay and would stay again in if Waikiki.
We were visiting friends and family for the holidays and this newly renovated condo was absolutely perfect. A gorgeous clear view of Diamond Head and ocean to the left, with some buildings to the front as pictured, but none were close at all. The balcony turned out to be a great place to watch the New Year’s fireworks. The building still has some construction projects, but we did not have any noise issues at all. Just a small detour to enter the garage and one of the four elevators out of service. The building’s hallway carpet hasn’t been replaced yet, so I was a bit wary as we approached the unit for the first time, but we opened the door to reveal a spectacular view and ultra clean apartment! The laundry room is only a few doors away (one on every floor), and the parking (yes it really is free!) is a huge plus in Waikiki. Even though there isn’t assigned parking, we never had a problem finding a spot. Just FYI the garage does have a height limit- SUVs fit ok, but large vans are too tall. The kitchen is spacious and the open plan gave us plenty of room to eat in, hang out, and enjoy the breeze and the view. We would definitely stay here again! The only things I would add are a salad bowl and maybe a larger pot, but I’m sure most visitors don’t cook on vacation as much as we do. One regret is forgetting to tip the cleaning staff as they do a perfect job!
