Beautiful 7 BD oceanfront house with a private pool located on the Golden Mile

THIS PROPERTY IS AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY TO FAMILY GROUPS ONLY.

This 7 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom oceanfront home located in southern Myrtle Beach has been recently renovated and features a private pool and magnificent views of the ocean from all over the house. This 2 story home features a private pool, large patio & deck area, gas grill, private beach access with shower, 2 fully equipped kitchens, Wi-fi internet access, and beautiful views of the beach and ocean from many rooms and the upstairs balcony.

This property does not allow any pets, smoking indoors, motorcycles, student groups or ball teams, weddings, or rental to anyone other than family outings.


7 night minimum during the summer months and 3 night minimum during the non-summer months.


HOUSE LAYOUT
Note: You enter house from street side which is actually the 2nd floor.

1ST FLOOR (ground level): small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, double sinks and island with 4 bar stools; dining room table that seats 6; living room with 50" TV, couch & 2 chairs ; large bonus room with 50" TV, sofa & chairs, full size washer & dryer; bedroom w/ 1 king bed, TV and shares a bathroom with a bedroom w/ 2 queens beds & TV; bedroom w/ 1 double bed, TV that shares a bathroom with bedroom with a bunk bed w/ trundle (3 singles beds) and a TV.

2ND FLOOR (front door): large fully equipped kitchen with fridge, 2 dishwashers, sink, stove/oven, microwave and bar with 8 bar stools; dining room table that seats 8, living room with 50" TV, 2 couches and a chair; and 3 bedrooms with 1 king bed and private bathroom in each, TV and private bathroom in each.


PRIVATE POOL
The pool can be heated during the months of March-May and September-November but only when the outside temperature doesn't fall below 55 degrees (day or night). If you would like the pool heated when the low temperatures are below 55 degrees a $75 per day pool heating fee would be required to help offset the cost of the excessive gas heating bill.


PARKING

Guests may park a maximum of 6 vehicles at the property which includes the two car garage and ample driveway parking space.

When we first arrived, the impression was, this was a great place. When you walked in the open concept was awesome. The house was fully stocked for everything you would need as far as kitchen supplies and toiletries. The views to the beach were great. However while walking around the first day barefoot or with white socks, we noticed how dirty our feet got. This was before we ever step foot on the back patio or on the beach. After night one we realize the mattresses truly need to be replaced. Especially in the upstairs master. It shaped like a canoe. We had to sleep in the middle because you could not sleep on the edge without rolling back down to the center. Also was a little disturbed with the fact that the house next-door had a camera shooting down at the back deck/patio area as well as the pool. Was disappointed that you pay a large cleaning fee and you are asked to wash all the towels before you leave while on your vacation.

The house is better than what the pictures show. I almost think the pictures make the inside of the house look smaller than it is. I was worried about the living space and kitchen being small based off the pictures, but I was wrong. Lots of space. They have everything you need in the kitchen. And then more in the downstairs kitchen. And then more hiding in closets. We just kept finding more things. There’s spices and a few other things like that left in the cabinets which is nice so you don’t have to go buy it for one meal. Grill worked great. There’s two washer and dryers. One on each floor, which is convenient. Do not open any windows! That’s the only problem we had. They said they had a sign on the window but didn’t and we opened it and it was a project to get back in. But, the property manager answered my call quickly and we talked it out and all was good. There are beach towels and beach chairs there. And a highchair!I just feel like their listing doesn’t show all those extras that the house does have. The house was pretty clean. A few little things here and there seemed dirty, but that’s going to happen. Nothings perfect. There’s a few restaurants walking distance but this isn’t walking distance to the main “downtown” area unless you like to really walk. But it’s like a 5 min drive. It was a great location. The view is amazing. And easy access to the beach. Pool was perfect. Plenty of outdoor seating Loved it!

The property looked lovely and the location to the beach was perfect. We were a group of 9 women and we had an amazing time. The house was very nice, comfortable and well stocked, but it needed cleaned. We had to scrub the refrigerator before we put any food in it. The oven was so dirty that the smoke alarm went off when we used it, and the floor was so dirty our feet got dirty by walking on it.When we called Jeff, the property manager, he took care of it as soon as we informed him of our concerns. The cleaning company immediately came and cleaned it.Jeff, the property manager was very easy to contact and was very quick to respond to our needs. He was great.We loved the pool!Overall the house was really nice. It just needs some TLC. There was too much stuff left from previous tenants. Having said that, we all said we would absolutely come back. Great vacation!

Very convenient to ocean, attractions and services. The whole family loved the pool. The bedrooms were situated so kids could have an early bedtime while adults could stay up and not worry about being too loud. We all would love to stay there again.

Good Property

Our stay was overall pretty good. My only issues were the very slow, unreliable WiFi and the plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms did not work well. Other than that, this is a great house. Plenty of space for our family of 13. Excellent location, very clean, great pool.

Ohio Family Vacation

We had a great week. This is our 2nd vacation at this house and it does not disappoint. Having a pool and being beachfront is awesome. Plenty of space for everyone. Only downfall was the ice makers on the 2 refrigerators were not working. We would not hesitate to book this property again. Being close to everything Myrtle has to offer is a bonus.

Perfect Family Retreat

17 of us from multiple locations in the US found an amazing gathering spot in this beach front oasis. Home slept everyone comfortably. Questions were answered quickly by property manager. Location felt private but was close to stores/activities . Beach was not crowded and the PERFECT location for 4th of July celebrations.

Location, Space, and View!

The house was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. We all thought it was even nicer than the pictures. The highlight was the view, very nice pool and direct beach access. It is very big with lots of room for our 9 adults and 4 children. It is great for separate family groups with 2 full kitchens, 3 dishwashers, 2 sets of washer/dryers, different areas for seating. Having multiple king rooms with baths is such a luxury when there are multiple families. The beach was clean and not crowded. We loved it. Try Sea Captain's House a couple doors down.

BEST FAMILY HOUSE WE EVER RENTED

Everything every other 10/10 review stated. Add property manager on the ball, owner put new beds in home 60 days ago and upon comment some of us thought they were very firm, had toppers delivered ON FATHERS DAY. Can’t say enough good things about this stay. Sit on porch and watch kids in pool and beach… air nice and cold, view from living and dining room. Covered porches and great breezes…We will be back!

Perfect Vacation

This is a fantastic property. Everything you need is here. Everything was very clean & comfortable. We spent most of our time outside in the pool, on the patio or in the ocean which is only a short walk away. My only suggestion would be to update the towels. They didn’t fit with the beautiful decor. And you need a cookie sheet. Other than those 2 items, everything else was perfect!

Wonderful time

Had a wonderful stay. The place itself is in a super convenient location, close to everything and even closer to a really nice restaurant one block away. We walked to it for dinner one night. The view is great especially with the ocean right in front of us. It's like we had our own space of the beach too ourselves. The only gripes I would have is the bed I was in was a bit lop sided and the grill was extremely dirty the first night we tried to do a BBQ. These things didn't ruin our awesome vacation though. The place is extremely spacious, plenty of room for our guests of around 10 adults and 4 kids. Will definitely be trying to book this again next year/Holiday

Nice house and good location in Myrtle Beach

Overall we had a great stay. The property manager, Jeff, was very responsive before as well as during our trip when a couple of small things came up. The pool and beach location were great! The house is very roomy, and the multiple refrigerators, dishwashers, and laundry areas were nice. Unfortunately it rained 5 out of the 6 days we were there so we spent more time in the house than planned, but we did manage some cloudy beach and pool time every day. As mentioned in previous reviews, the house does need some updates. The TV in the main family room area adjacent to the kitchen is old and had no streaming capabilities and we could not even use a fire stick with it. While the lower level family room TV worked, it was less than ideal to send 4 young grandchildren downstairs for TV time while we were preparing meals, playing games in the evening, etc…. We normally wouldn’t have relied on the TVs so much but with the rain, we had few options. Also, while some mattresses were replaced on the day of our stay, the mattress in the master on the main level is so sunken in that we could not use that bedroom. Fortunately we had enough bed options for just 10 of us that it was not an issue.

Beautiful views

The views from this home are spectacular. Well stocked. Close to shops/restaurants. Pool/beach area is lovely. Only complaint is the beds are very uncomfortable and in dire need of new mattresses. But everyone in the family really enjoyed the stay- probably our favorite property we've rented the years!

Lovely home

Lovely, spacious home, ideal location, amazing views from both levels of this home. Furnishings inside & out were well kept and comfortable. 2 sets of washer & dryer was great for this family of 14. The kids loved the ocean & beach. Pool is lovely, disappointed couldn’t get temp above 75 degrees. Kids don’t seem to care. Family had a wonderful time. Would recommend to others. Any questions, or minor issues were easily addressed with Jeff.

Golden Mile

The home was spacious in both upstairs and downstairs! Lots of outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the beach. Just a few issues- fruit flies throughout the kitchen. Known issue since fruit fly traps were provided. The second night the downstairs drainage started to back up (toilet and showers) and sockets in the kitchen went out while we were cooking. The home also could have been cleaned a little better. Beds looked like there weren’t made and hair was in one of the beds! Overall it was a good stay to accommodate our large family.

Golf weekend

The pictures didn’t do this property justice! It exceeded all expectations. We came out for a golf weekend and had an incredible stay. Highly recommend!

Nice place.

Location was great. Not a lot of people around. King size mattress in the top room with the sliding glass door, needs replaced. It feels like one person slept in the middle of the bed for several years. High chair was dirty. Half bath on top floor need the commode seat replaced. The lid won't stay up. The copper sink in the kitchen is beautiful, but I think the cleaning people need to learn how to properly clean it. It was convenient having 2 washer and dryers.
