Serenity place. Relax in a semi rural setting 18 mile from Acadia National Park

Open floor plan, updated, with new floor and trim, new comfortable furniture, gorgeous view. Accomodates four with two bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 twins). Full deck in front and small deck in back. Everything is new. It is in a wooded private location tucked just off a residential area, just a 1/2 mile from beautiful downtown Ellsworth, and just 18 miles from Acadia National Park. There are many vacation destinations nearby. You will have the run of the house. Come and enjoy. This is double wide trailer, about ten years old, but now completely renovated.

The full-size kitchen is fully stocked with eating and cooking utensils. It does not have specialty items such as a double boiler, but it has plenty of basics. We have a coffee maker for pots of coffee and k-cups. [Bring your own coffee]. We have A/C in the main room and fans in the bedroom. Bring or buy bottled water. The well water is potable, but well water does not agree with water your used to in other regions sometimes. The gas fireplace is non-functional for safety and cost issues. The enclosed deck is bi-level and large with chairs and tables. The abundant wildlife, dear, fox, turkeys, etc. are at no extra charge. Enjoy Maine.

Before departing, please:
1. Wash up dishes
2. Place trash in white bags, and place white bags in the trash receptical on the back deck inside the large black bag.
3. Sweep the floor.
4. Placed used towels and sheets in a pile on the bedroom floor. (The floor is vinyl so damp towels wont hurt the floor)
5. Check to see nothing was left.
6. Let me know of any problems.

Really liked the location. The surrounding town had all the extras we wanted. The proximity to Acadia was very convenient. It was nice to have a place away from crowds to kick your shoes off and just relax.

Perfect quiet and comfortable place to stay while exploring Acadia and Bar Harbour. It had everything our family of four needed for our stay. Ellsworth is a great town as well-we highly recommend Momo’s cheesecakes while staying here!

Very nice house, it felt like home to us.Better than staying at a hotel. Close to shopping and AcadiaBar Harbor. We went whale watching.kayaking and spent the day at Acadia national park. Thank you for having us stay in your home.

Great location…Convenient for our plans. Roomy. Enjoyed 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Well stocked kitchen. Thought mattresses could be upgraded…especially in the room with twin beds.

Nestled in a quiet wooded area, the cottage is comfortable and clean with WiFi and Roku. Kitchen is well stocked though I would suggest a toaster oven be added. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay a few days (or weeks). I’d book it again.

The property was as described, as it was far away from the main road so not to have any road noise. The best thing was being able to spread out after being on the road and that there was a great place to eat close by. The only thing I would have wanted was an on site laundry but I found a nice one in town.

Perfect stay

Clean and comfortable, came exactly as advertised. Wonderful location and easy to find your way to things in Ellsworth or to Bangor or Acadia. I highly recommend and will definitely look to check its availability when we’re back in the area!

Nicely located for visiting Mount Desert Island with all the comforts of home.

Property located in a semi-rural area with gravel driveway. Communication and check in instructions with host well doneThe interior of the property was very clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed to enjoy our Maine vacation with our 6 year old grandson. Nicely located for visiting Mount Desert Island and all that it has to offer. Also, conveniently located near Ellsworth retail shopping & restaurants. Priced fairly. Would recommend.

Clean and quiet. Nicely decorated. Ample hot water; good pressure. However, the very soft foam mattress in the main bedroom is not for everyone. Would still recommend.

Perfect location

We were quite comfortable in the house surrounded by trees (with gorgeous colors in Oct.) and delighted to find that Ellsworth is the perfect starting point to all places on the coast and Acadia National Park.

It has an open floor plan, new flooring and walls, new furniture. I know you will be comfortable and enjoy your adventure from this location.

It is close to Acadia, yet far enough away to afford a quiet stay, and enjoy the Maine I remember, with the air filtered by the pines. Don't hesitate if you have time to turn right from Hillside Drive, instead of Left to Acadia, to go to Blue Hill and places to the coast in that direction. It is worth experiencing. This property is centrally located to all of the coastal area in mid-state.
