This home was the ideal spot for our family vacation. A nice big kitchen, lots of cozy places to sit. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend.

In general the house was ok. Lots of rooms so everyone could have their privacy, kitchen was fully stocked and lots of space for the kids. Pool was fun too and nice that it was heated. The issue was overall quality and what we paid for our stay. Everything about this place was DIY - from the extra rooms downstairs to the electrical work to accommodate the many portable air conditioners. While the portable air conditioners were nice to have, I would have expected central air at this price point. The downstairs is very hot while we were there, regardless of the fans (note that dehumidifiers do not help with heat). The property is very old and falling apart. House exterior is on its last legs, railings are loose, pool deck is falling apart to name a few. Again, if the price was much lower, none of this would have been a big issue for us. Lower the price or put the money into a few renovations.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and enjoyed the many amenities, from the pool to the inviting deck—even on a rainy day—and the spacious living rooms. The common areas provided ample room for our large group to gather, socialize, and enjoy time together. The house was very clean and well-maintained, and the host was exceptionally responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

We rented this house as an extended family of 11 people. There are plenty of beds and plenty of space for everyone to have their own area. The location is ideal as we’re just across the bridge from Stanley Park and close to downtown. It’s a great backyard with access to the pool and great views of downtown. Our host was easy to work with and was accommodating with our requests. The kitchen is very well stocked if you want to cook. There are laundry services on both floors and a grocery store is only about 10 minutes down the hill. You can find Ubers very easily when we were here which was in July. Having a rental car is nice, but Uber was not difficult.

Great house with a view and solid amenities

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was quiet with a beautiful view and an awesome neighborhood to walk around in with hikes nearby. The house had everything we needed - tt was clean, comfortable, and the AC units throughout kept the temperature just right. The pool and outdoor area were a nice bonus. Great spot for a group getaway!

Very accommodating host

The host was incredibly helpful as we were navigating challenges with the website. We were booking last minute as a previous accommodation site booking fell through and Jila went above and beyond to make our stay in the area a success.

Capacious home in West Vancouver

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is well suited for a large group (we were 10). The common areas are spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Appliances are up to date. Lots of bedrooms - and all the beds were comfortable. The views are quite remarkable. The house has many glass-topped tables and white/beige carpets, so we had to watch the children closely to avoid any mishaps (there were none). Our grandchildren really enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood is quite nice, with many restaurants and stores a few minutes away. But getting across the bridge to Vancouver can be challenging due to traffic. Our host was very responsive and flexible. She was great

Beautiful house

This property is amazing! The host was very communicative, and ensured we had a great place to stay. Plenty of room for large groups. My only suggestion is to include extra towels. Would highly recommend this house!

Amazing Property!

Our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 children ages 8-14) truly appreciated everything about this property! The location, view, and pool were perfect. The house was very clean and spacious with lots of room for all of us to gather in the big kitchen/eating area and the family room, patio, and living room. The 8 bedrooms also allowed us to spread out very comfortably. It is nicely furnished with all the amenities. The house's central location in a very nice neighborhood in West Vancouver allowed us to easily get to so many activities: biking in Stanley Park, kayaking in Deep Cove, alpine sliding on Cypress Mountain, whale-watching trip from Granville Island, and a day trip to beautiful Whistler. The host was very professional, helpful, and prompt in her communications. She even went to the trouble of returning an Apple TV and remote that we accidentally left behind! This is definitely a 5 star property and we highly recommend it!

Lovely Owners, OK Experience.

First and foremost, the owner was lovely to work with. She was responsive, took ownership, and clearly wanted us to have a great time. The location is wonderful with a fantastic view and close to attractions/shopping. The kitchen is well stocked and you can easily prepare meals with the plentiful pans, dishes, etc. The outdoor space is comfortable with plenty of chairs, tables, umbrellas/shade, and flowers. The not so great was the outdated decor/ maintenance. We were required to take off our shoes in the house, resulting in blackened feet from threadbare, dirty stairs. Lots of little/big things that need work. The pool was large with both a shallow and deep end, it was fun to play in with the kids. However, the walls/floor were very rough and we all tore up our feet. The biggest concern was the lack of AC in the house. Perhaps not normally a problem, but we came in July, with temps in the 90’s. Listing it as a luxury home (costing almost $12k for 4 nights) WITH AC, we were shocked to walk into a wall of heat. This listing was not honest. The rooms had standing fans, not AC. The master did have a portable unit and the living room had a dehumidifier. The owner did go out and buy 3 addl units for the bedrooms after I insisted, but could only plug in 2 because of the electric load. Even then we could not plug in a hair dryer without causing a trip. Overall, a nice property, but not luxury. You are paying for the view. Everything else is mid level at best.

The house was perfect for a large group. All the entertaining spaces were perfect. The communication with the host was amazing. The pool was great. Absolutely there was more than enough room for us. I would recommend this home for anyone who’s looking for a spacious place to stay during their visit to Vancouver.

Nice property for family gathering

Cousins gathered for a retreat weekend and enjoyed the property. View of the city and bay was appreciated and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the appliances, utensils, and service ware needed for our large group.

i wish it cleaner.

unfortunately, the place was not clean. dusty floor ( we found multiple object under the tables and sofas) my pillowcase stunk, so did my sister's room bedding set downstairs. i wish the cleaning team that supposably was "preparing" the house for our stay, did a better job.

Great Weekend

Absolute Perfection

The places was PERFECT for a large group. Everyone has their own space but had plenty of areas to hang. The pool and view were the biggest hits!
