There is not a single negative thing to say about this home. Tim was an amazing host, always offering anything we needed. The house was even better than the pictures show. I almost want to keep it a secret so we can always go back! We enjoyed everything about the home-The fireplace, the fire pit, the hot tub, the game room(!), and watching the deer. My adult kids are willing to come from Chicago next year just to enjoy it all again. The kitchen is very well stocked so we never had to leave. If I could give this house more than 5 stars I would.

Work Trip

We were there for work and we needed a place we could come back and relax eat together and get ready for the next day. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room. We really enjoyed the views and the hot tub after a long day.

The perfect Christmas Cabin Getaway!

We had the best time staying at this cabin with my family. The views were amazing as we sat out drinking coffee in the am or a cocktail in the evening. We spent the week cozied up together playing games, doing puzzles, watching football and being together. The cabin made for a perfect place for a family of 10 to be together or have our own space. The hosts were timely, friendly and answered our questions. We couldn't think of a better place to spend our holiday. Thanks Tim and Tracey!

Perfect spot for quality family time

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Great house with gorgeous views. Exceptionally clean, large bedrooms, easy to communicate with Tim and Tracey. Our family had a fantastic time using fire pit, hot tub, and game room. We were not able to hike the trails around the house due to hunting season - Inot an issue as there are tons of trails within a 15 minute drive, but something to check on beforehand if that is important to you. You feel like you are on your own little mountain but grocery, walmart, and restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. We absolutely plan to return.

The host was racist and I pais exta and I have pictures of everything cleaned except the jacuzzi

The host referred to us as the blacks several times and I paid him 400 extra dollars to have more guests. I have photos and text messages between us

Awesome property

From the moment we arrived, Tim and Tracey were the ultimate hosts. The property offered entertainment for all of us no matter the age. We hiked the property, did some fishing in the nearby lakes and even did some rock climbing. The teenagers especially spent a lot of time in the game room. We all loved the hot tub. There was plenty of room to spread out but the kitchen and living room big enough that we could all gather together. This is our 3rd year to get away for Thanksgiving and by far our best year!

Alabama Hidden Treasure

As a family that goes to Gatlinburg often we are overjoyed to have discovered this place . You wake up to mountain views and swear you were in the smokies. My daughter who rarely ventures outside enjoyed the swing bed on the porch and hottub on the lower deck. We all played corn hole and enjoyed the gameroom. The highlight was the deer right in the front yard. My husband was in love and didn't want to leave . He wanted to hike to circle field. We didn't make it this trip. Maybe next time. Tim and Tracey are great host they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome!!

Wow! Maybe the best cabin we've ever stayed at. Huge living space, well maintained, very secluded, gorgeous views, tons of activities in the game room, plus great walking trails. Pictures don't do it justice! Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Great location for a family gathering.

Great location for a family gathering. Seeing that much of our family lives in the Florence area it only made sense for us to gather close by. We came from Colorado, Arizona and Michigan. We enjoyed the hiking the hot tub in the game room very much. I would highly recommend this property.

The perfect getaway cabin!

We were looking for a place to getaway and celebrate Thanksgiving with our extended family, and this place was absolutely perfect for that. It's so peaceful and private, yet still close to town for grocery shopping or to pick up items at the last minute. The view of the valley is breathtaking and a great way to start a morning. The bedrooms are much larger than we envisioned, there was plenty of space for everyone. The downstairs had enough games to keep the kids occupied when they weren't out hiking on the sceninc property. We spent several nights staring at the fire in the large stone fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-- noone wanted to leave! We'll be back for sure.

Our Alabama Adventure

House was amazing - open and lots of room. We did not feel crowded at all. Porch became a gathering spot in both morning and evening. Nice to be able to see the deer. Great area for sight seeing and day trips.

Wedding weekend

Needed a large place for our family for our son’s wedding, one that could accommodate people of all ages and provide enough space for all to get ready. This home more than fits the bill. Tim and Tracey are gracious hosts and went out of their way to check on us, see to any needs we had, and point out interesting sights around the property. Being so busy with the wedding we didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked but are definitely planning a return trip to do just that.

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our time at the property. The cabin is perfect for a getaway from city life. Stop at the local grocery store on your way in, and you can literally spend all your time on the property. All amenities are as described and the surrounding property is well maintained and offers hours of hiking / exploring adventures.

Best Thanksgiving ever!

We wanted a truly special place to spend Thanksgiving with the family members in our "COVID bubble". This place delivered. Lots of space, gathering room, great kitchen, super deck and patio space, hot tub and pool table and lots of other fun stuff. Unlike many properties, the mattresses were GOOD and the linens wonderful. The property is very secluded and filled with wildlife. Owner/property manager a dream to communicate with. I can't say enough good things.

Nobody wanted to leave!

The size of this property is amazing. Our multi-generational family group of 12 had plenty of room and more than enough to keep us entertained. The lower porch and game room kept the youngest to the oldest interacting and laughing together. The large kitchen-dining area meant that we could all eat together. The swings and rockers on the upper porch meant that we could all enjoy the sunsets together. We were in the middle of nowhere but within minutes of town. Just fabulous! We've rented vacation homes for years, but this one is TOPS!!
