This home was warm and inviting. It was comfortable and well thought out everything that we needed was included in things that we didn’t even think about were available to us to use. We appreciated the communication when we needed. We could not say more positive things about staying at this property. My friend and I had a girls getaway week and stayed at the Costal Carlsbad home. The property is as advertised and is convenient to anything you want to do in Carlsbad. The property itself was clean and equipped with everything you would possibly need for a stay of any length. The only thing you need to bring to this property is your own clothes and food…anything else you will find provided for you. Check-in was easy and the owner very responsive to inquiries. We would definitely return to this property if vacationing in Carlsbad.

Great location, as in a one mile walk to the Village and beach area and close to family nearby. Interior of house was modernized and well equipped re kitchen needs, bedding, family room/tv, etc.

Great Experience

We were so comfortable at this pristine property. Nicely renovated and tastefully decorated, we had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We enjoyed both the BBQ and the firepit, and the many cute restaurants in charming downtown Carlsbad that were within walking distance. We appreciate how welcome the host made us feel - great communication!

A great vacation spot

Close to the beach and lots of good eating spots. A reasonable drive to San Diego for a day trip to the zoo or other attractions down there. We certainly intend to return here when we vacation in southern CA

Very nice experience. Home appears recently remolded and well stockedEnjoyed the fire pit especially since weather was cool. Appreciated cleanliness and timely responses from owner, Steve. Location was great in that a nice walk or quick drive took us to beach, town and multiple restaurants.

Great Getaway

This place was a fantastic getaway for me and my family. It had all the amenities and tools needed for a great stay…even down to beach accessories. Steve was very communicative and helpful. The only slight downside was the traffic noise. Other than that, we loved our stay!!

Family time

The house was well appointed, clean and updated throughout. The back yard was very enjoyable with the comfy chairs and fire pit! Thank you for such a great getaway! The only thing we could think of was maybe gave a couple of extra throw blankets, but overall we give our stay a 10/10!

Quick Carlsbad Vacation

The cottage was adorable! It was my husband and I, and our 3 teenagers that stayed and there was plenty of space. Everything was clean and updated, the backyard was lovely though we didn't get to enjoy it due to weather. Communication was excellent as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Property!

This adorable beach house is impeccable in cleanliness. It offers very spacious bedrooms with cozy beds, a comfortable living room, & a full, large kitchen. It really has everything you’d need! The back yard is big & serene. We enjoyed peaceful evenings around the fire pit. We walked to the village & beach every day. Amazing place - I highly recommend!!

We’d go back

It’s a clean, well stocked California bungalow on a busy road. House smelled heavily of febreze on first entering. After isolating the odor pods and a good airing out it was OK. The edge of Carlsbad is 1/2 mile away, we usually walked, helped burn the dining calories. One negative is that the bathrooms have no heat, floor tiles were cold, hopefully your visit will be during warmer weather than ours. Toiletries are Costco family size, so bring your own if finicky. King bed was comfortable, wife felt pillows were uncomfortable, but pillows are never right, are they? Couch was comfortable, I napped many times during rainy days. Would be nice to have a back yard umbrella but there are trees for shade. Wife loved the fresh oranges from the tree. Driveway was tricky to maneuver, I’m sure the outdoor camera driveway vids were a good laugh. Overall good place, we’d return.

Nice place in great location!

We enjoyed the newly renovated interior with all the amenities, outside gas fire pit, etc. The location is convenient to downtown restaurants and beach. Thank you for being a great host!

Exactly as described, and that's a good thing.

This home was the best of a number of VRBO homes we've enjoyed over the years. Usually, we run into a some things that surprise us....in a bad way, but not here. Everything was clean, highly organized, easy to use and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought into the remodeling, as well as in organizing virtually everything for the guests. The property manager, Steven, was also helpful and immediately responsive, when needed. We would gladly stay here again!
