We are so happy to have found this great property owner! Yes...OWNER. Because we met him while staying here and then toured ALL his properties in town and you will not be disappointed with any of them! All are nearby in town, walk to everything, very clean, and all the amenties you could need. The beautiful and friendly village of Elkhart Lake and the famous rolling hills and track of Road America will supply the rest! Thank you again...and we'll see you again soon!! Liked: Check-in, communication
Not worth the price
It was too hot. we tried to adjust the air conditioner but it was still too hot all the time. It was difficult loading and unloading our stuff.
We opted for this house over our usual Osthoff stay and loved it! The apartment was very well equipped to cook at home and the hosts were very welcoming. The location was perfect for enjoying the downtown restaurants as well as the Christmas market at the Osthoff. We walked five minutes or less to everything. The apartment was well stocked with all necessities and we were even provided plenty of coffee pods and cream in the fridge. It was so nice. Clyde and his wife had excellent communication and offered flexible check in/out times. After decades of staying at the Osthoff Resort we would book this again and again.
Everything was as advertised, and there were several unexpected positives. The location was perfect. We never used our car because we walked to meals, bars, beach, and entertainment.
It helped to have family staying at Osthoff resort. Would have been nice to have a dishwasher and some counter space in bathroom but we managed. The host was great and kept the place well stocked. We took advantage of the supplied coffee pods, waters, extra towels, TV, and internet. Even “half&half” and creamers were supplied!
Clyde was friendly and helpful we has a nice conversation with him in the morning after our arrival. The upstairs apartment was clean and had all the things we needed for our stay. We took our dog out at 11:00pm and locked the door and forgot the code we called and they gave us the code. Wonderful stay!
Rented the upstairs flat during Jazz on the vine. Cute little upstairs flat but, if you can afford the downstairs I highly recommend it, super cute!
Christy was very helpful regarding any of our concerns. Great location and affordable.

Very well maintained upstairs with a bed for everyone! My husband took our adult sons to the Ryder Cup and it was soo perfect for them! Close to course, clean, extras like water and extra towels! Don’t hesitate to book this gem!

Nice place, very poor host communication
Clean and well-maintained old apartment. A/C worked fine and everything seemed to have a fresh coat of paint. Nice Road America memorabilia on the walls. Bathroom very small but adequate. If you have access questions, be warned about the very steep stairs to access the apartment. However, my interaction with the woman assigned as host contact was very unsatisfactory. When I called to confirm the unit was ready, a male answered -- he was dismissive, saying that I had the wrong number and he had no connection with the property. Panic ensued, of course. I had a group of friends counting on these accommodations. A while later Christy called back and blamed it on her "immature man-child". No need to suffer that kind of thing. Get a new host contact.
We had a great time at this rental. The location was within walking distance to everything. The caretaker, Christy, had everything ready for us! A/c set at the perfect temp, bonfire pit ready to go with wood, a full stocked house with fresh bags of ice even! It was more spacious than expected, the beds were very comfortable and every room was very clean. We had plenty of parking and enjoyed talking with Christy and the property’s owner who was in Elkhart for the weekend as well. Very nice people. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Best house in the nicest town.
The home owner has a real gem. The home is within walking distance to all of the major restaurants, shops, and trails. Would 100% rent from them again!
Small space but adequate for the two of us. Convenient walking distance to local bars and restaurants. Hiked at Kettle Morain State Forest during the day and enjoyed the town in the evening. Bathroom is very small.
