Beautiful Beach House, Green Harbor Marshfield! Steps to beach, dead end street!

New to the rental market, book a week away in Green Harbor ~ Marshfield at this newly renovated, super cozy beach house.

This home is the second to last house on a dead end street in beautiful Green Harbor. Views of the Marsh and the sunset at night are amazing!! Walk past a few houses and you are on the beach. Green Harbor Beach (Burke's Beach) is a short walk to the left, and Duxbury Beach is to the right!

Bring your bikes, kayaks or golf clubs! Ride or walk to the Green Harbor General Store (The Genny), the Green Harbor Lobster Pound (best lobster roll and fried seafood) or the Coffee Shack for a coffee and freshly made donut! All are local favorites - you will not be disappointed!!! Take a quick drive to Brant Rock and enjoy the many indoor and outdoor dining options such as Haddads, The Venus, The Jetty and the Fairview.

About the house....fully equipped kitchen with dine in table that seats 4 with an additional 2 seats at the high top counter. Living room has an L shaped sectional and a flat screen tv. Small seating area with 2 chairs and an end table - perfect for morning coffee! Bedroom # 1 has a queen size bed and plenty of storage in the closet. Bedroom # 2 has a full size bed with a twin size trundle bed under. Sun room has a sofa which pulls out to a full size sleeper sofa. House has central air-conditioning as well as a washer and dryer.

Enjoy the fenced in backyard and have a BBQ with friends / family. Picnic table and grill are provided. There is also an outdoor shower.

Plenty of parking in the driveway (6 cars or so)

Perfect beach getaway!

My wife and 2 kids (6 & 3) have stayed at this property two years in a row. The house is clean and has all the amenities you need (central air, nice yard, grill, comfy living room, and a sun room). Owners are very communicative and answered any questions we had quickly. The best part, of course, is the beach! During low tide the sand is less than 100 yards from your doorstep. The beach itself is very kid friendly, clean, and just all around awesome. We will be back next year!

Green Harbor did not disappoint!

Great time. Everything matched well to the listing. Check in and updates were seamless. I loved the key-less lock for the door. Clearly the beach works! Appliances are modern and the AC works perfectly. I give it 5 stars.

Great house in a great location

We had a wonderful week in Green Harbor! Bernadette and her daughter were wonderful, very responsive and made sure we were settled and ready to enjoy the week. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable, and was well stocked with nice appliances, every cooking and kitchen supply you would need, even paper goods, towels and bedding. The house is on a quite dead end street and there is a beautiful marsh view from the front of the house. There was also a great backyard, grill, table and outdoor shower! This gave our family a great outdoor space to play and hangout. The beach is a short walk down the street. One thing to keep in mind is that during high tide the water crashes on the rocks and there is no beach, but a sandy beach during high tide was a short walk down the street. This house will seem like a “home away from home” and is in such a great location! We would be happy to return for future visits!

The home was very clean and well equipped. The owner was responsive to any questions. The location was perfect for our family, easy access to Green Harbor Beach, as well as Brant Rock area.

Vrbo was a mess but host and house were fabulous!

So appreciative of the cleanliness and a/c! Lovely layout, fenced in yard was awesome for kiddos. Can’t beat location. Host was very accommodating when VRBO made a complete mess out of my booking, requiring me to cancel, rebook, chase down refunds and spend an inordinate amount of time on the phone. Struggled mightily with VRBO on this stay, but felt supported by and advocated for by host.

Green Harbor Vacation

This was our first VRBO booking. I was leery of renting a place unseen but it was exactly what was described. The home was clean, modern, had all amenities needed for ones stay for a beach vacation! The owner was very responsive to any questions I had during our stay. Thank you!

Perfect family getaway

This was our first stay, but hopefully it won't be the last. My husband and I traveled with my parents and child, and everyone across the board had a great time. The home was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. It's a quick/straight walk to a terrific beach. The house has central air which was clutch as temps and humidity were well above normal for part of our stay. The coffee bar was great, and everything we needed was already provided. Paula and Bernadette were incredibly accommodating and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Don't second guess renting this home as it really is a gem.

The Brighton Street access stairs were our favorite entrance leading down to the seawall, about 350 feet from the cottage front door. At high tide, we could shallow-dive off the boulders that anchor the seawall, and at low tide, we could walk the beach to the water’s edge. Epic, long walks on the seashore could be had during lower tides; we could literally walk for miles south toward Plymouth/Gurnet Light, the lighthouse past Duxbury Beach Reserve. Lovely times watching sunrises over the ocean and setting suns over the marsh with salt water swims in between. And the almond croissants at French Memories Bakery in Duxbury - amazing. Paula, Bernadette's daughter, answered all of our questions and was both responsive and accommodating. The cottage was recently renovated and the kitchen was easy to work in. The kitchen is the hub of the cottage with the bathroom and both bedrooms are immediately off the kitchen and the former back porch to the south and the living room to the north. The transition from the sea to the cottage was made easier by the outdoor rinsing area with a showerhead. The main mattresses could use an upgrade. We arrived at the tail end of what is traditionally Greenhead season, (July’s full moon to August full moon's high tide) but were pleasantly surprised to only encounter 3 Greenheads total! And, despite being one house from the marsh, we also only experienced mild mosquitos on one night. Would return!

Awesome family beach vacation!

What a wonderful spot for a beach vacation! My husband and I and our two kids had such an amazing week!! The house was spotless, had everything we needed and the owner was lovely. I cannot wait to go back!
