Welcome to Cozy Creekside Cottage – A Nature-Lover’s Retreat with Historic Charm

This is not your average getaway. Nestled among vibrant perennial gardens and set beneath a canopy of old-growth pines, our one-bedroom + loft cottage offers a one-of-a-kind escape full of warmth, character, and natural beauty. Thoughtfully renovated while preserving its original charm, this cozy country cottage is your perfect base for exploring the stunning Okanagan Valley—or for simply unwinding with a peaceful staycation.

Inside, you'll find a welcoming space decorated with local artwork and furnished for real comfort. Whether you're curling up with a book, sipping wine in the garden, or taking in the soothing sounds of BX Creek just steps away, everything here invites you to slow down and relax.

The Setting:
Once part of the historic BX Ranch lands, the cottage sits on a private, one-acre property bordered by BX Creek and surrounded by towering trees. Guests enjoy access to a beautifully landscaped side yard—an ideal spot for morning coffee, evening wine, or just soaking up the serenity of the outdoors.

*Please note: The twin beds are located in an open loft accessible via a vertical ladder. This area is best suited for older children and able-bodied adults. Safety first—please review the photos before booking.

The property is awesome.Alot of nice little touches. Super clean and comfortable. Having the AC on for my arrival was a nice touch. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Vernon area.

Our stay at the Creekside Cottage was amazing, as always! As soon as we arrived, we felt so at home, and the fairy lights lit up really felt inviting. This place is magical, the setting is beautiful by the creek, and the feeling I get while staying there is so serene. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen and living room are great - everything is so nicely designed. Leah and Bobby are such kind and delightful hosts.

A beautiful cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Bobby and Leah's cottage. Tucked away in the trees, and with the sound of the creek, we felt so cozy and comfortable there. The rooms are so spacious, the bedroom is super comfortable, and the living room very inviting. We were teleworking from the kitchen table, a perfect set up. The kitchen is also well supplied and spacious.The cottage felt like such a sanctuary, and with the lilacs all in bloom - so magical. Leah and Bobby were very kind and gracious hosts, and we appreciated the eggs and organic apples! We really loved our stay here.

Cozy, and relaxing

The hosts are lovely. The cottage is cozy, and comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay for a week of sleep ins, and mellow evenings listening to the chorus of frogs, with some mountain biking, afternoons at the lake, and touring wineries in between.

Beautiful cottage, great location! We loved it!

Our faily had a wonderful 5 night stay here. The cottage was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Well stocked and well equipped -- we had everything we needed! The cottage was a perfect hub as we spend our days exploring the Okanagan. Bobby, Leah & family were tremendous hosts and great communicators. They made everything incredibly easy. We can't wait to come back!

Home from home

We had a very relaxing time staying at the cottage which is very comfortable, peaceful and has all the amenities that we needed. Leah and Bobby (the owners) welcomed us to the property and were very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. They responded to requests promptly and provided us with information about restaurants and activities available locally for us to explore.

Wonderful experience!

Leah and Bobby did everything they could to make our visit so perfect. The cottage is fully equipped, and you could actually live there full-time. The garden and covered patio were a welcome retreat, and being tucked away in the countryside made it very quiet. You can fall in love with this charming cottage!

Beautiful house in Vernon

We loved our stay in Leah & Bobbys beautiful house in Vernon. A quite place just out of town and close to hiking, beach and very good food shopping. The most fantastic host we have ever had. We were spoiled with the best eggs and lots of goodies. Thanks for everything ♥️

The most peaceful and lovely getaway

We had the most lovely stay at Leah and Bobby’s cottage. Everything surpassed our expectations and needs. Leah and Bobby put lots of work, care and intentionality into making the property clean, cozy and beautiful. The private garden was our favourite surprise, and we hope to visit again someday! Lovely Creekside Cottage in Vernon

This property was so amazing and the family who owned it, so lovely. The cottage was immaculately clean and well supplied with linens as well as some basic spices, teas and keurig pods. We were only there for two nights but now wish we had been able to stay longer. Very private and countryish setting yet only 5 min. from downtown. Biking mecca for sure and close to Ski Hill! Great place to stay and kudos to the owners who take care of the cottage as well as raise 4 young boys.!!! Who, by the way, we only saw as they jumped on the trampoline a good distance from the cottage. Loved it and hope to be back!

Cozy Cottage Getaway

Me and my partner stayed here in July. Leah and Bobby have created an incredible place to stay. While we were there, we never saw any of them unless we happened to pull up at the exact same time. If we needed help, they were able to assist us as soon as possible. The house was stocked with basic supplies, and the air conditioning was a huuuge plus during the hot weather we endured. We enjoyed our stay in Vernon, and hope to be back. It was lovely to stay at the cozy cottage. Thank you!

Loved this Charming Cottage

We absolutely had a great time staying in Vernon at this beautiful cottage. We loved the area! We brought our bikes and had a great time cycling the OK Rail Trail (we parked at Kal Lake and cycled to Oyama for burgers at OKF). We also cycled to the BX Ranch Park for a walk and then up the hill to be rewarded by lovely ciders at BX Cidery. The Cottage itself was full of thoughtful touches and had a well equipped kitchen. We found the bed very comfy. My favorite part was when Cheeto the garden cat came to visit during breakfast in the back garden. Thank you Leah and Bobby for being great hosts!

One of the best stays we had!

Our recent stay at this charming property was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by incredibly accommodating tenants who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Cutest cottage in a beautiful garden setting

Such an amazing little cottage! I came to Vernon to be a vendor at the Creative Chaos Show and this was the perfect location to wind down at after those long days. I immediately felt relaxed being surrounded by such beautiful gardens (+ entertaining cats!) & thoughtful decor. I really appreciated the little touches Leah & Bobby thought of like the variety of snacks for me to bring to the craft fair on those long days and the offer of having extra tables or whatever supplies I needed to prep for the show. I’ll definitely be back if I’m up this way again. Cheers! Megan

Beautiful cottage

Creekside Cottage in Vernon is amazing!! Such a lovely, homely and quiet place only a 5 minute drive to downtown Vernon! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable, cozy stay. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful and are always available if one has a question or a “need”! Inside the cottage is super clean, well stocked with many extras i.e coffee, little snacks, beautiful linens and towels, lots of dishes and a small washer and dryer just to mention a few items! The garden space surrounding the cottage is lovely with a patio set for guest use.I personally appreciated the “No pet” “No smoking” policy as I am very scent sensitive. The hosts went out of their way to ensure no scented products were used in the cottage! Thank you again Leah and Bobby - we will be back to stay at your lovely cottage!!

Perfect

Had a long stay of 11 nights in the Cottage. It was perfect for us. Fastidiously clean. Hosts helpful but never intrusive. The Cottage is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen very User Friendly. Stacked Washer/Dryer was sanity saver. So easy. Bathroom good. Shower excellent. Great TV and the lounge room was warm and comfortable. Charming Decor throughout. Interesting and attractive but never cluttered. The Bedroom had great storage and very comfortable bed. It was warmer at arrival then temperatures plummeted to -6 C but the heating was very good and we left before a need for heavy duty heating turned on. Parking near front door. Lots of outdoor areas for sitting. East Hill is a lovely residential area. We shopped at nearby Butcher Boys, which is excellent for groceries and alcohol. Heartily recommend The Cottage.
