Welcome to Fundy Sunset Cottage!

This charming Cape Cod style oceanfront cottage is quite private and has 2 bedrooms with an open concept living/dining area. Accommodates 4 guests. This cottage is located directly on the Bay of Fundy. The oceanfront lawn has a 4 foot bluff down to the rocky shore and thus is not suitable for children under 10. The bright living/dining area boasts large windows facing the ocean for you to soak in the beautiful western views. We offer a well appointed newer kitchen with all the amenities. With the bathroom and one of the bedrooms located on the main floor guests can take advantage of the opportunity for one floor living if required A BBQ is provided for your lobster feast. We recently installed a new heat/ac pump system with dual heads for your comfort. Located 10 minutes from the historic town of Annapolis Royal this cottage location offers many opportunities such as numerous attractions, hiking trails, eateries, wineries, shops, a boardwalk on the Annapolis Basin for strolling along and admiring the gorgeous view and much more. The hosts are happy to make recommendations. The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world due to the shape of the bay and the resident seals swim by daily with the tide changes while the fishing boats trundle by. Enjoy the sunsets from the large oceanfront deck and fall asleep with your windows open to the sounds of the ocean. Tranquility and Relaxation await you! Doesn't get much better than that.

We loved our stay. The view from the deck was spectacular and we saw a bald eagle and caught a glimpse of the locally renowned seal Bobby. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

We loved our stay at this cosy cottage by the bay of Fundy. The sunsets were epic, the seals and birds delightful. The cottage is perfectly situated to visit Annapolis Royal and the valley and we really enjoyed all the museums and historic places in the area.

Wonderful Location

Loved every minute there from the moment we arrived. So peaceful and quiet and the calming effect of watching the tides,seals,fishing boats each day made the stay even better. Close to shopping and dining. Everything was excellent and the Hosts are fantastic people! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful 5 days at Fundy cottage. Lots to see and due in area, from hikes to historical sites to good restaurants. Never bored! Home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

Beautiful Oceanside Getaway

This cottage is perfect! Just the right size for 4 people (2 couples). It's quaint, organized, very clean and its oceanside location will fill your soul. If you enjoy the sound of waves this is the place for you! The hosts were lovely and very responsive. We loved our stay and can't wait to visit again.

Coastal getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Annette and Wayne’s wonderful cottage at the Bay of Fundy. Unobstructed views of the water, fishing boats, seals, and shore birds was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. It was a memorable time.

Amazing views of Bay of Fundy. Hosts went a one and beyond to make sure we had everything.

We have stayed at lots of home accommodations and this one is by for the best experience. The house has everything you need and it is such a beautiful spot to watch the ocean on the Bay of Fundy. We did some lovely hike in the area along the ocean at at kejimkujik National Park. It was quite windy while we were there which made for some spectacular crashing waves. I would absolutely recommend staying at this lovely cottage.

Amazing Sunset - Exceptional Local Flavour

Evening sunsets were amazing. Listening to the waves gently roll onshore was relaxing especially in the morning. Short 10 minute drive to Annapolis Royal which has history, entertainment, wonderful Farmers Market and excellent restaurants. This was not our first stay at this rental and will not be our last.

The cottage was everything that was required for a mental downtime.

The cottage was all and more than expected. Beautiful morning and evening views. Annette communicated on a regular basis making sure everyone was fine. There were little extras were just a nice bonus that added more to the experience.

Wonderful cottage by the sea

Im not sure if we have ever had a more attentive host who really seemed to care about our stay. The cottage was so charming and SO clean and inviting! We got in very late on the day of check in and they left a light on, a bottle of wine and breakfast for the next morning. We had the best time exploring Annapolis Royal and the Wolfsville area. Watching for Bobby the seal each morning and evening was such fun. Waking up to the sound of the sea was just wonderful!

Fundy Sunset Cottage

I had the wonderful experience of spending 5 weeks, during the fall season, at this delightful cottage. It is absolute paradise. Pictures of the setting cannot do it justice. The deep tide flows are stunning. And looking out onto the Bay of Fundy is magical. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. I enjoyed the privacy of the location. Easy distances to nearby towns and the proprietors could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Perfection.

Peaceful setting

The property is exactly as pictured. It’s very clean and well equipped. The owner stays in touch to make sure everything is okay. The outdoor deck is comfortable and perfect for watching the tide changes. There are lots of birds both on the shore and in the trees. There is even a seal that visits from the water. The sunsets are spectacular. Inside the house is comfortable and feels like home.

The location of this cottage was beautiful—Extremely quiet with stunning views of the bay.Annette was an excellent communicator and addressed all of our questions. She shared lots of information about the local region, and made helpful suggestions. The kitchen in the cottage was very nice! Plenty of quality dishes and pans for preparing & serving. There was even a garlic press, and Annette had left us some coffee, cream, & french bread. The shower stall was a real challenge because it was so tiny, but the cottage was otherwise as described. We enjoyed being near Annapolis Royal and the Harvest Moon bike Trailway.

This cottage the Bay of Fundy oceanfront tranquility with the highest tides in the world. Sitting on the open deck in comfortable wicker chairs with cushions, a pillow at your back and a blanket having your morning coffee and just taking in that sea salt air and admiring the seals (Bobby and friends swim by daily with the tide variations) and the sea birds that rest and feed on the ocean's delights on the wet rocks. The cottage itself is in one word or two, charming and comfortable for our guests. We have taken great care to strive to make it like a home away from home. Our attention to detail and cleanliness are important to us for you our guests to be delightfully surprised when you open the front door.
