Stayed here for a summer wedding at the Grand Hyatt Vail. The location was absolutely perfect, less than 5 min drive to everywhere we wanted to go; the wedding, East Vail for the alpine gardens, West Vail for brunch, and Vail Village to take the gondola to mid-mountain. Other highlights include the comfy beds, cleanliness, and the little outdoor space. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place with more space than a hotel!

Hi Elle,We're delighted that our location perfectly suited your needs during the summer wedding festivities. It's wonderful that the convenience and proximity to various destinations were highlights for you. We're glad you enjoyed the comfortable beds, cleanliness, and the outdoor space. Thank you for the high recommendation and for considering us as a spacious alternative to a hotel.
Great condo close to the ski areas. Perfect for two friends or couples. Had a mildewy smell that was a bit off putting but the unit was very clean. I would stay here again. Great unit for a budget but not sacrificing.

Hi Jacqueline, thank you for your time to leave a review. We're looking forward to your come back.
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Vail. This location is within close proximity to the vail bus and also provides all the necessary amenities. A response to our request to park the car in the driveway after our checkout time would have been appreciated. I’m just glad we didn’t run into any serious problems that would have required communication with the property manager since it doesn’t appear they acknowledge messages from guests. Overall, I would probably book again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location and amenities of our property. We checked our communication thread and we did email you with a response of where to park your car. We used the same email address that we sent check-in instructions to. We apologize, if you did not receive that message. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back in the future.
We booked this apartment to house some family in town for my daughter’s wedding being held in Vail. It was a nice 2 bedroom with the entrance on the ground floor. The apartment was in a central location that made it easy it get around Vail. The only issue we had when we were looking to check in, a neighbor makes sure we all knew that this was an apartment and that ours was the only one being rented out because they “all live and work here, so there is no ice and no pool”. We tried to be respectful of that.

Thank you for the kind words, Lisa! We enjoyed hosting you :)
Received rental in terrible condition. One of our guests left with rashes indicative of bed bug bites. Do not rent here

Hi Daniel,
We don't appreciate you leaving a review that is false and we believe to be retaliation. We want to clarify that we never heard from you during your stay regarding any issues. In addition, our cleaning team reported that it took them an additional two hours to clean the home when your group checked out. They also believe that more than four people stayed in the condo (this is exceeding the guest limit). We sent photos to demonstrate the extra work involved and items that were broken. As for your comment about bed bugs, we can assure you that the home does not have bed bugs. We take our guests' health and safety seriously. After a thorough inspection no bugs were found anywhere in the home.
My wife and I recently stayed here for a week to escape the summer heat in Texas and enjoy all Vail has to offer.
The condo while dated, was very clean and was in a can't beat location. The instructions provided for check in were clear and their management's response time was very timely over text.
It was perfect for two people, we both worked remote for a couple days and had no issues with the Wi-Fi speed or stability. Having a full kitchen to prepare a few dinners, breakfasts and hiking/fishing lunches was solid vs. having to pay for every meal at a Vail hotel. We also enjoyed sitting out on the small patio in the mornings drinking coffee and listening to the nearby creek run.
The location was solid - we could easily walk to Lionshead and Vail Village for dinners, Gore Creek for fishing and running the trail, etc.
The mattress was comfortable and having a smart TV to login into for watching movies as also a nice bonus.
Would recommend this to any couple looking to experience Vail.

We really enjoyed staying here. The cleanliness of the property was much-appreciated and the location is very convenient. We also found the beds comfortable. The property managers were good about communication and we had no trouble checking in or out. Recommended! :)

Comfortable beds and very close to lions head and vail village. The ski shuttle was just a short walk down the street and about a 5 min ride to where they drop you off.

About the host
Hosted by Traverse Hospitality
We (Alex & Nadim) are grateful to be able to offer an outdoor focused community to our guests up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We both love rock climbing, hiking, biking, skiing and spending pretty much all of our free time outside; we were even crazy enough to run the Leadville 100. Our mission is to help as many people as possible discover the magic of the mountains...which is why we founded High Rocky Homes!
We're doing our best to make real estate and mountain access more affordable for EVERYONE!
For our real estate clients, we give half of our commission back to our buyers and sellers, saving them an average of $5,000. This helps our clients furnish a new home or simply reduces the high closing costs associated with buying or selling real estate.
For our property management clients, we offer a service that has no restrictive contracts, a lower commission model and superior performance. This means that more booking revenue goes back to our clients to offset the costs of their mountain homes.
For our guests, we've been working hard to offer more lodging accommodations that are clean, affordable, and full of great amenities set up for active people who want to enjoy the mountains for short or longer term stays!
