About the property

This is a gated community with a private pool just for our guests. Low density building with only 72 units onsite. Jacuzzi in the winter time and a cool pool in the summer time. Our condo is a 2 story unit with the master bedroom upstairs along with a full bath. There is a 1/2 bath downstairs along with an open living room with a queen size pull out couch for the kids or visitors. Open kitchen that is fully ready for any cooking or entertaining. Walk to the beach and enjoy your own designated beach just for Largo Mar Visitors. Now how cool is that?

These guest were so nasty and dirty that we had to have another cleaning crew come to help clean as we had other renters checking in that day. 7 thirty gallon trash bags taken out and we even had to put the trash in the trash bags ourselves. 2 dirty diapers on the kitchen counter and a females "soiled" panties left on the living room floor. Dont EVER want to host this group again!

We visit Panama city every year the first week of July lets start off saying the owner was an hour and half late giving our code to get in to the gate. Then we go upstairs to the condo and the door is not even locked, why? Cause the door lock was broken which made for a crappy week cause of fear of our items being stolen we couldnt all leave together. Someone always had to stay at the condo at all times. The drain to the bathtub wouldn't plug so we couldnt give our 2 year old a bath. Then the shower head popped off twice during showers. Good thing it didnt hit my 2 year old but it left a bruise on my foot. The washer and dryer looked nice but it was junk cause it sounded like it was gonna fall apart. There was spiders everywhere in the unit. Upstairs exit the lock was rusted out. There was an old nasty pair of shoes on the balcony. Only half the light fixture worked upstairs. Water was leaking from the ceiling in the kitchen. The pull out couch mattress was very worn and dirty. There was sand all over the mattress. The pillows was flat and had stains on them. Only one of the sliding glass doors living room balcony worked. There was a foul odor in the unit. There was only small view of the ocean from the bedroom balcony if you lean over to see it. To sum it up at the end of our week we only left our trash during the week. We gathered our trash in one pile. We couldn't get into the dumpster so we left it. Then the owner contacted us to tell us we destroyed the unit because of the trash so that we needed to pay 475 for destroying the unit which we already paid a cleaning fee which is a scam to get more money out of us. I would not recommend anyone to rent this unit until above things are fixed and under new ownership unless youd like to be scammed and mislead as well. After 6 consecutive years of coming to panama this is by far the worst experience our family has ever had. We hope you take these things into consideration before you have a horrible experience as well.

Owner's Response: NASTIEST, DIRTIEST GROUP EVER!!! I truly hope that whom ever reads this womans review will go look under the police docs at the Sherriffs Dept. and see how many times the police dept. had been called to quiet down these 9 people that were staying in a unit that only sleeps 4. Seven 30 gallon trash bags were hauled out of there and we had to put the garbage in them ourselves. They left a dirty diaper on the kitchen counter top, a womans soiled panties on the floor in the master bedroom and a used condom with sex toys hidden under the bed. And all of this with a 2 year old child with them? Childrens Services would have a field day with this mother. I hope someone turns her in or at least has Childrens Services contact me and I will give them ALL of the details to this ladies stay with us. This is only the tip I promise you. She must have been too high on drugs or something to not have been able to lock the front door! Its an automatic Schlage Lock that you buy from Lowes and it locks all by itself once you shut the door. Its got a door code so you must remember it in order to get back in. I'm ashamed of how this new generation of kids acts now a days. Its too bad. My father would have taken a belt to me if I ever acted like her and then left another persons home in the condition that ours was left in. The damage done to the condo along with having to hire 2 cleaning crews to get it cleaned up enough for the next renters coming in later that day is way more than the $450 that I was asking for. She would be gettin off easy at that price. Again, NASTIES, DIRTIEST GROUP EVER!

Enjoyed our family time.

The condo was as expected. We had an issue with TV and outlets but Eric at management company handled it quickly. He was really great to work with. If we could make any real improvements to unit, it would be the pull out bed. It was not comfortable but who cares, you are at the beach. The dryer was very loud and probly needs some work but it did the job. We love Largo Mar.
