This beautiful waterfront home is situated in Anglemont, just five kilometers from St.Ives. It is on a private road with a gate at one end and a cul-de-sac at the other, ideal for families with children. With 110’ of water front, spectacular views from all parts of the property, this is an ideal place to spend a vacation, whether you want to relax in the sun, read a book on the deck or water ski on the lake.

The focus of your vacation will be outdoor living, and so the highlight of the home is the 10’ by 60’ covered porch running the full length of the front of the house. Here you can enjoy cooking a meal on the gas BBQ, dining outdoors, or lounging in the shade on a hot summer afternoon. From this vantage point you will also appreciate the other outdoor features of this property – the upper east side patio that is an ideal place to enjoy an early morning coffee while sitting in the sun. The lower patio close to the lake is a perfect place to suntan during the day, and sit by the fire and star gaze in the evening. Enhancing this experience are the beautiful landscaped gardens that surround the property.

If you would like to be closer to the water, the 16’ x 30’ aluminum dock is the place to be. It is easily accessible from the garden, and is spacious enough to entertain on, tie up your boat and still enjoy water sports. There is a buoy available to secure a boat, along with a paddle boat to get you back and forth. There is a marina five minutes away by car that has a boat launch and basic alcohol and supplies, in addition to a full service grocery store and gas station 10 minutes away by car.

As the front wall of the house is mainly glass, there are views of the lake from every room, and two large double French doors allow access to the living room and master bedroom off the covered deck. With these doors open, there is a feeling of indoor/outdoor living. The living room, dining room (seats 10) and kitchen are an open plan, again allowing great views of the lake, forests and hills. The kitchen has a large island that seats four, and is a great gathering spot to cook and enjoy conversation.

The master bedroom on the main floor includes a queen bed, en-suite bathroom with soaker tub, shower and double sink.
Also off the living room is a family room where guests can enjoy watching TV, playing foosball, doing puzzles and playing games.
There is a second bathroom on the main floor with a shower, sink and toilet.There are three bedrooms on the second floor. Two have queen beds, and the third has two upper and lower twin bunk beds plus a crib.The bathroom on this level has a soaker tub/shower, sink and toilet.

Similar to previous years, everything was PERFECT! The house and yard were fully equiped and everything was in amazing condition. Frankie, the host, was very helpful and accomodating. Thank you. We will be back next year.

A Family Stay in Paradise

This was our second year visiting this property. It absolutely exceeded our expectations again. Frankie is an amazing host. She pays attention to every detail and wants to ensure her guests have the best possible stay. We were warmly welcomed and could appreciate her pride of ownership in her home she has chosen to share. The house has a fully appointed kitchen, with every appliance and every spice you might need; it's bright, clean and extremely comfortable. The landscaping is superb. Our adult children came and went with their families this year. At one point we had 8 people staying together and the house still felt spacious and easily accomodated us. The view is exceptional. We had the pleasure of seeing a moose swimming in the lake, otters early one morning, loon, osprey, and a mama mergansar and her babies each evening. Selfishly, I don't want to share information about this gem, but if you have the opportunity to stay at this exceptional property, Take It!!

PERFECT!

Everything was PERFECT!. The home and yard were built to perfection and beautifully maintained. Relaxing on the veranda while admiring the view was our favourite. The dock, paddleboat, kayaks, patios and lounge chairs were a wonderful bonus. Everything was very well stocked with everything you would need. We had an amazing holiday. Thank you.

Amazing

There are no details overlooked at this property. The home provided plenty of space for two families, the dock is huge and easily fits a group and all the water toys, the deck is perfect for shade on the hot summer days, the fire pit provides the perfect end to every day and the landscaping makes you feel like you are at a high end resort. We can't wait to stay again!

Idyllic Lake Shore Home

Beautifully design and furnished family home with spectacular lake views from every room. Lots of indoor outdoor space for entertaining plus a huge dock to lounge and enjoy water sports. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house has been thoughtfully set up with every convenience and comfort. Anglemont is a charming location with lots of local activities to enjoy. Frankie and Barry were wonderful hosts, welcoming, easy communicators and offered lots of local information. It truly is an idyllic property, one we hopefully will visit again!

We had a dream to have lake front property where our family can gather for generations to come. When we spotted this plot of land we knew this was the place we were meant to build our lake home. We spent three years, living on the property and built our beautiful home.
