Cozy in Angel Fire

Spacious, lovely, and cozy. Beds were comfy, kitchen fully equipped, very nice washer and dryer set, ridiculously close to ski lift — just a few steps.

Great Stay

Condo was great! Lots of room for the whole family. Almost everyone had their own balcony. We had everything we needed and expected. Location was excellent. Walk or catch the shuttle stop next door to go to the lifts. Owner was great to work with! Would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Great time at Angel Fire

Condo had all we needed - plenty of beds, great common area, kitchen for cooking, and nice 1/4 mile walking distance to the Chile Express with SnowBlaze ski rentals right on the way to the lift. Be careful as it is a downhill walk (not a problem for us as there was no fresh snow).

Great place & close to lifts

Great place to stay. Has all the essentials & very comfortable place to relax after a day on the mountain. Close enough for a short walk to the lifts. I plan to stay here again. It is on the 3rd level so climbing stairs is the give & take for great views, which I don't mind. I get up early before everyone else & the bedroom doors squeak when closing. Really nothing to complain about. Great place, highly recommend it!

fantastic, cozy cabin - would stay here again!

We had never been to Angel Fire before so really didn't know what to expect. We have 2 small children (ages 5 & 6) so wanted our stay to be as convenient as possible. This cabin/condo was absolutely perfect - we were able to walk back and forth to the ski resort (no shuttle needed, very short walk) as needed. Could not have been more conveniently located! The condo itself had everything we needed, was very clean and the owner addressed a few requests we had with immediate attention. It was comfy and roomy and perfect for our family of 4. We highly recommend this property and would definitely want to stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations!

This property was perfect for our family trip! Yes you have to walk up stairs at the end of the day and yes you have to get right on showers or you might lose hot water. But this place is SO convenient to the lift and ski rental (Snowblaze was the BEST). The king bed was very comfy (firm at first but then your body melts into it as you lay on it.) Each kiddo (age 4 and 6) had their own room and there was plenty of space to lounge and hang out! We will never forget our first family ski trip! This place was just perfect!

Great accommodations and location to lifts

Overall this was an excellent property and I would definitely recommend for any family or group of friends. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of living room space, great furnishings in bedrooms and baths. We loved the proximity to the lifts and never had to use the shuttle. I took off one star because there is a faint smell of cigarette smoke within the home. And the heaters run SO HOT! We ended up turning them OFF during the day and kept them on super low at night. It would get stuffy and it was hard to control the temp in the home. However if we came back to Angel Fire for skiing, I would definitely book this condo again.

It was good but…

Overall the property was nice and was exactly like it was described. The pros: - All the rooms were spacious - You could start the fireplace with a flip of a switch - The kitchen had most of the things we needed for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner. - The beds were very comfortable. The cons: - Most of the pots and pans and cooking utensils had to be washed before we could use them because they were dirty and had food stuck to them. - The towels stunk like wet dog. I was going to rewash them but when I opened up the washing machine it smelled exactly like the towels did. - Climbing up 3 flights of stairs with all of our luggage and groceries was brutal. We had a pleasant stay for our first time in Angel Fire but I don’t know that we would stay here again simply because of it being on the 3rd floor.

Great place! Very comfy with a well stocked kitchen

My family and I stayed here on our first visit to Angel fire ski resort. The place was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked- I sort of wished we had stayed longer then I would have planned for more meals at the unit rather than attempt eating out (limited restaurants). There were a lot of nice conveniences like multiport charger, bathroom basics (hair dryer, lotion, etc.). It was nice having use of the garage for ski equipment. The walk up to the third floor and the short walk to the ski base was invigorating for us sea level folks- but we welcomed it after our long drive! My kids had never skied- the children’s ski center was well worth the cost! Not many ski runs were open as it was VERY early in the season- but still enjoyable all the same. Very family friendly. We would definitely stay here again- but later in the season when more blue runs are open 😉 Oh - and others reviews mentioned smelling smoke - we never did at all; and that it got hot- we left thermostats at 65 and never had a problem. Very pleasant!

Comfortable condo with convenient location

My family of four enjoyed our stay at the condo. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax, and it was nice that the bedrooms were separated from the living area. We liked the openness of the kitchen/living/dining area. The bedrooms were all good sized and comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied, and we cooked several meals there. There was a nice gas fireplace to keep us warm and cozy. It was nice to have a garage to store our ski gear, instead of having to haul it up three flights of stairs. The internet service worked very well, which was great when we wanted to stream the college bowl games. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was helpful and allowed us to clean our ski clothes at night. They also provided full-size toiletries in the showers, which was very thoughtful.The location is very convenient - just a short walk to the Chile Express lift at the base area. There is a bit of a hill on the walk, and walking in ski boots is never fun, so we used the shuttle a few times. The stop is very close, in front of the next building.It was early in the season, so not many trails were open on the mountain yet, but there were enough for our kids to enjoy (they are 8 and 10). Angel Fire put on a New Year's Eve torchlight parade and fireworks show, which was really nice.Overall, this was a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

The place was conveniently located very close to the lifts. Yes, lots of steps to get up there but location was worth it. Place was very clean. My only complaint is the owners should consider replacing the plugs. Nothing is more frustrating having the plugs fall out when you’re trying to charge your devices. The issue was throughout the unit. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay way okay..

Loved the location and cute condo. Did not like the cigarette smell in the unit. (The tenants below us started smoking every evening and our condo reeked of cigarette smell). One night there was loud yelling and crying from man and woman). We are allergic and was difficult breathing and sleeping at night. We were also disappointed that only 4 green runs were open. We are blue and black ski level family.

Hi Shannon, we're glad you enjoyed the location and condo, but we're sorry certain aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The owners spoke to the condo manager regarding the smoke and noise concerns. The COA bylaws state there is no smoking allowed in the units, stairwells, garages, or within 50 feet of the building. The COA board has been notified, and they are looking into the matter with the unit below this condo. - We encourage guests to reach out to the local contact or Evolve with any issues so the owners have the opportunity to resolve any concerns while in residence to provide the best possible stay. - While it's unfortunate that snow and skiing conditions were not up to the level of your preference, this is outside the owner's control, but we're sorry if this made your stay less enjoyable. The owners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!

Easy walk to Angel Fire Resort. Nice view of Wheeler peak!

This condo is an easy walk to the ski resort in ski boots. We did it multiple times with kids. If the condo shuttle happened to be at the resort, it was literally a 1 min ride back to the condo. The bathrooms have been recently remodeled. The beds were new and comfortable. The heat worked well. I reccomend setting the thermostats to 55-60F or the condo would get too hot. The walk up to the 3rd story was worth the trade for a great view of wheeler peak from the master. There are 4 balconies! I took off one star because there was a smoke smell from the gas fireplace with it on or off. It could get strong at times and fill the living room. It might be smoke from a lower unit.
