This one Bedroom cabin has a queen bed and a full bed in the same room. No door to the living area. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the deck is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of shade. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.

Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.
Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. We have Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

Great location

The cabin was clean, convenient and cozy. The location was great for sight seeing to all the surrounding attractions. Also located nearby stores if you wanted to do some shopping. Cabin very clean and staff was excellent.

Quick Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend stay. Beautiful weekend. Such a pretty visit. Leaves were changing and it was a pretty location to see the fall colors.

Convenient Rapid City location.

Clean property that is close to walking and biking trails. Also a convenient location to drive to all of the Black Hills attractions.

It was a nice spot overall and we enjoyed our stay. There was some messiness/crumbs underneath the bed on the floor though that I'm guessing the prior guest left and was not caught at cleanup ahead of our stay. Also, the TV service did not work. We did receive a prompt response from the host regarding who to call about the cable service, though we ended up not needing it anyway. Communication with the host was good and, again, we enjoyed our stay overall.

Perfect location

Great liitle cabin. Could have used a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Cabin was a little musty smelling opening the windows helped.

Beautiful, Quiet, Comfortable

We loved this place! It’s in a BEAUTIFUL location and the cabin is very cozy. It would have been nice to have a little more space, but since we didn’t spend much time there during the day, it wasn’t a problem at all. If you enjoy walking, this is a wonderful location as there are lots of paths. We are looking forward to returning next year. Scott is a wonderful person to deal with.

Very clean. Everything worked as it should. Only disappointment was the fact you could not have a campfire. I don't believe it was advertised on Vrbo but it was on the campground website.

Home away from home

This charming little cabin had all the comforts of home while providing a base for exploration of the Black Hills. Clean and peaceful. Would love to stay again.

Friendly staff, great location, well equipped cabin. Shower was very small but otherwise it was a very nice and comfortable stay.

A wonderful cabin

This cabin is located in a charming campground. It was perfect for my husband and my self. It had all we needed to prepare a meal. It was spotless. There was a charming deck and we spent most of the time there with some very comfortable chairs. It was in a great location to go to where we wanted to go. Grocery store is nearby. I was surprised how many channels the tv were available. I slept so well in the comfortable bed. I can't wait to go back. Do not hesitate to rent this out. You will not be sorry.

Overall Impression

The cabin was as described and true to the pics. The furniture is completely uncomfortable making relaxing and just hanging out impossible. Kitchen is minimally equipped so don't plan to cook much. It is possible to borrow kitchen items from the office but bring your paper goods and all condiments and spices. No big deal unless you are used to renting other VRBO properties that are fully stocked.
