Nice, place! It had all the amenities we needed to for a comfy able stay. The pillows were prefect and extra blankets in closets to keep us warm. Quiet location. We all liked the kitchen and gas stove !

We had a fantastic stay in Tahoe. The property is lovely and the accommodations were as described. The owner contacted us directly prior to our trip to discuss a negative review we asked her about. She assured us all issues were addressed. She was correct. We had no issues and a very comfortable stay.

Short stay hot a lot of stairs, inside and out…

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we did encounter a few concerns. The garbage was not collected, and the bear boxes were not available, leaving us with no place to dispose of our trash on the first night. Additionally, the listing did not include any pictures of the exterior or a description of the number of stairs required to access the home. If you have elderly individuals in your group, I would recommend reconsidering this property due to the lack of this information. We also noticed what seemed to be an additional unit connected to the first floor of the property, which is locked off by the garage entrance. This felt a bit unsettling and made us question the privacy of the space.possibly will not rent again.

Cabin Time

We enjoyed our stay at this nice cabin nestled in the forest. It's the last one on 'that' side of the dead-end street. Drive too far up the hill and you'll run out of road. What's great is that there are no neighbors behind you nor to one side. And the other neighbor doesn't seem to be in residence right now, so it's really quite peaceful.Mind you, there are about 25 steps that you have to go up to get into the cabin. So, if you have bad (insert lower body part) or trouble with stairs ... keep that in mind. The kitchen is well appointed with all kinds of pots and pans for cooking. The stove and oven work great as does the microwave. Having your choice of 2 decks is nice.We often ate breakfast on the deck in the mornings.The water pressure in the showers was really good.The beds were comfy.Wifi worked great. We had no problems with connectivity which is Key since my husband and I had to work a bit each day before we could go out and play.

Great views & communication :)

Our check-in process was effortless! The home was what was shown on VRBO. The home cleanliness could have been a little better. Under the beds had lots of dust and dirt and kitchen/living rooms were not swept nor mopped. The staircase entrance was right behind the couch, so we had to push the couch back so my toddler wouldn't fall down the stairs. Used the washer and dryer, the dryer had to be put in a certain way for it to fully dry, had to do 2 cycles for the clothes to dry. Cecy was very communicative and very responsive. She even went above and beyond for the parking tags we needed. Lights in front of the home & doorsteps were out, so we had to use our phones to guide us down- Cecy apologized and said she would get it fixed immediately. The grill and kitchen stove/oven worked great! The shower, everything was awesome! Cecy is great and welcoming, she makes me want to come back! Will use this home for our next Lake Tahoe trip!

False advertising

Cabin smell like old dirty clothes. Bed sheets were not washed. Construction going on the house which was not listed. Walls and windows cracked. Dishwasher not working. Carpets very dirty and stain. Couldn't exit any door due to alot of snow on all doors. Only exit was rhe garage door. Alot of snow specially black ice on the drive way. One of 2 vehicles got stuck on black ice causing an accident. Contacted Cecilia the home owner she was no help. I send her messages, emails and pictures. I do Not recommend this rental property due to the high maintenance needed. I will appreciate someone contact me back please

Alexa, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to clarify the following: -We use a professional cleaning company to ensure that the home is cleaned and sanitized between guests. We were surprised to read your review as neither we nor the cleaning team detected any odors either before or after your stay and we are confident that the home met our high cleanliness standards before your check-in. We have a closet of extra linens for guest use if needed and we'd like to clarify the carpet was spot cleaned before your stay -We can confirm the home is not under construction at this time. The listing states "For your safety, please do not enter the two storage areas in the home. These are clearly marked with 'Do Not Enter' signs" in the pre-stay email as well as the welcome manual sent to all guests prior to arrival. We kindly ask guests to refrain from entering this area -We offered to address the cracks found in the wall to which you denied access while in the home. The cracks found are due to heavily packed snow on the roof which can create what we call 'stress cracks'. For this reason, we had the roof cleared of all snow upon your departure, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Additionally, the dishwasher stopped working shortly before your arrival and will need to be replaced in the Spring due to the icy conditions listed above. We advised you of this ahead of your arrival -We have also disclosed in the Welcome Manual, "When it snows, please use the garage as an entrance to the house. During the winter months, the exterior stairs have three-four feet of snow and make entry through the front inaccessible. The stairs get extremely icy and slippery." This statement is not only directed toward the stairs but the driveway as well. We immediately sent out a team to re-salt the icy driveway to prevent further issues. However, all-terrain vehicles and chains are recommended even when chain control is not in effect to ensure proper traction and avoid costly accidents The owners prioritize every guest experience and did all they could to accommodate you during your stay. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!

Great home in a beautiful setting.

Great location with easy access to heavenly and South Lake Tahoe. Set among boulders the outdoor spaces make for a great outdoor setting. Would definitely stay here again in the future

Perfect cabin for group of 7!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Cabin was clean and just as described/pictured. Located at the end of a quiet street which was perfect for lounging on the deck but just a short 10 minute drive from Stateline and all the action. Communication was seamless. Highly recommend and will definitely be renting again come winter! :)
