2025 Family Vacation

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend it to others. Location was excellent, well maintained with the exception of the BBQ Grill. Looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. Tried to clean it as much as we could. The house had a Keurig; however, it did not work. Luckily we went prepared with our own. Aside from those two things, would recommend to others.

Great house!!

The house was beautiful & perfect for our needs. We originally weren’t bringing our dog but plans changed and owner was very accommodating. The hot tub was perfect and such a great luxury to have. Kitchen was well stocked with all items needed. If bringing dogs, the backyard is not fully enclosed so we kept ours on a leash while she did her business. Not a major issue at all. Super close to a trail so it was fun to explore the area. The only weird thing was we got there at check in (2PM), they were still cleaning. Then he said we weren’t suppose to be there. I guess the owner forgot about our reservation so it was a tiny bit awkward as we waited for the cleaner to hear back from owner to ensure we had a reservation. He tried to rush to get things completed and left about 30 minutes after. The dishwasher wasn’t unloaded, no towels available, beds didn’t have all linens, garbage was left in the house, there were red solo cups and ping pong balls left out and pieces of food still on the floor. Luckily I had a little bit of time before the rest of my family came so I cleaned up and got the house ready while I waited. Overall it was a great house in a perfect location. It’s very quiet so it was great for our family. The back neighbor is a little strange and would open his sliding door and look out while the kids were in the hot tub. I’m assuming he isn’t a fan of different groups coming in but it was weird for the kids to have someone stare at them. Very comfortable!

Horrible host

The host, Alex, notified me around 8pm that my group and I were being very loud on the first day, which we were already inside of the house by 6pm. The only time that we were outside was to grill on the patio. The second day Alex harassed me by stating that my group and I were being too loud when my group and I had already left the house at 5pm. He did not only contact me once, but twice around 7:20pm and 8:25pm, leaving voicemails of threats and statements that we were being too loud and that the police had been called. Furthermore, the curfew time start at 10pm, which keep in mind that no one has been in the house since 5pm. Once my group and I came back from the concert, we arrived back to the house around midnight. We went straight to bed, since we were all tired from the concert. The host did not provide instructions and descriptions on how to use grill. Host lacks care of guests as to providing little to no toilet papers and paper towels. The guests had to make a trip to the nearest grocery store to provide our own toiletries.

“Horrible Host” is a title of failed review of guests whose behavior is a reason why many communities are banning short time rentals. Those so called “vacationers” have no respect or understanding that people who live nearby have to work and need quality quiet time. The rules are strict regarding noise and behavior. Those rules were broken non stop by a guest and her unruly party. Multiple neighbors have complained to me in phone calls and begged to intervene. Sheriff office had been notified and a police was visiting the property. Luckily for the guests ( they may have been out of the house for that particular time) it was quiet. Otherwise the party would be fined and banned from future booking at VRBO. For my fellow homeowners - make a note to avoid this particular guest as it will spell trouble for the homeowners. Per my housekeeping team : they had to spend extra 45 minutes of cleaning after a departure of that particular party. Please don’t come to Tahoe if you are going to be disrespectful of the lifestyle of people who live and work there. It only takes few of those horrific and disrespectful guests to ruin it for all of us.

Super clean and accommodating

The premises was extremely welcoming. The spa, bbq, and snow gear made the trip worthwhile. So if you are planning for a family get together or holiday with family/friends and wanna enjoy Lake Tahoe this is the place to go. Alex is extremely professional and on point with communication. Would definitely re-book again.

Amazing stay

The host is very accommodating and considerate when we have to reschedule for our stay. The place is very relaxing and the pool table is a great bonus! Highly recommended. We had a wonderful experience.

Weekend getaway

I was pleasantly surprised by how big and nice this house was plenty of space. The weekend I went was very smoky so I had to stay in. Nice to have such a big house. The only negative is no AC it was really hot upstairs. The fans help but it needs ac.

Nice weekend getaway!

Close friends (social bubble) and I had a pleasant stay at this house. For 2 couples and 2 singles, we each had our own rooms comfortably. We enjoyed the short walks to a nearby trailhead and short drive to town/lake areas. The place was spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook up a storm for the weekend. Def enjoyed our stay as it was nice to getaway for a bit during the pandemic.

Would come back!

We had a bit of an issue at check in with the property not being cleaned in time, however the Host went above and beyond to communicate thoroughly and quickly with me, buy us pizzas and allowed us to extend our check out time to make it right. The communication from the Host was like rapid fire and made me feel so confident and taken care of! The rooms were incredible spacious, BBQ was awesome and plenty of kitchen space for our entertaining! The parking and neighbors were never an issue and all went smooth for the rest of our stay!

Nice, big, well appointed home

We enjoyed spending Christmas here. Close to everything in south Tahoe. Plenty of room for everyone and easy to find. Beautiful house, nice pool table and hot tub. Suggestions to owner: need more bath towels especially if using hot tub, and need more than 2 kitchen towels. Need some basic supplies, dishwasher soap, body soap for showers, more than one roll of paper towels and a hair dryer would be nice. We replaced 3 light bulbs , and emptied the dish washer upon our arrival. It appears the previous guests did not dispose of trash properly. Scattered all over side of house.
