From the Owner: "The See Vue Condos beach access was closed after an engineer determined that the 65-foot-high wooden stairway from the top of the cliff to the beach had its foundation damaged due to powerful winter storms. The repair is complex, given the remote and pristine nature of this beach, and bids are currently being sought. There are multiple access points within half a mile, starting at Bob Creek. I will personally contact all future registered guests to let them know about the situation. I hope you enjoyed our beautiful two-story independent condo overlooking the Pacific Ocean, separate from your disappointment with a stairwell situation that is beyond our personal control."

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The beach access noted in our listing is a shared amenity managed by the HOA, and its closure was unexpected and due to necessary safety repairs. As soon as we were informed, we promptly passed the update along to you.- While we understand the closure was disappointing, it was completely outside of our control, and the listing accurately described the property at the time of booking.- We offered a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, even though the home was available and provided as advertised.Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.

From the Owner: "I sincerely appreciate your comments. Everything you mentioned is being taken care of today, including new pillows and deck chairs. As far as the bed in the loft being broken, recent guests brought 4 children and left the bed frame crushed. It was reported to Evolve, and a new frame was ordered, but not in yet for your stay. It is now installed and ready for the next guests. I sincerely apologize and hope you will give us a chance in the future."

Hi Tanner, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:-We provide a comprehensive guest book containing all necessary information, including internet connection details, TV operation instructions, phone numbers, gate codes for beach access, and nearby restaurants. This guest book also includes pages of guest comments, which are overwhelmingly positive.-Our property offers Wifi within the house, enabling guests to use Wifi calling for full cell phone functionality, including telephone service. Additionally, there are active landlines available in both the living room and bedroom. Due to the remote location of the condo complex, cell service is not available outside the condo.-We take pride in our pristine home and have a dedicated hostess and cleaner who promptly address any minor issues left by previous guests. We are currently addressing the handrail and curtain rod issues, and our guest contact has assured us they will send pictures and repair any concerns. We hope our current guests do not encounter similar issues.-The issue with the handrail was not with the handrail itself but with one of the decorative and safety wires that had come loose. This has been fixed as it simply required screwing it back on. The curtain rod issue involved a small upstairs curtain rod where the screw had pulled out of the drywall. It is temporarily fixed and will receive a permanent repair after the current guests depart.-The living room features two remotes: one for the TV and another that operates both the TV and Dish Network. The downstairs bedroom TV also has two remotes and is a Roku TV, allowing guests to choose the satellite channel and access the Dish Network. We have not received any previous complaints about this setup. We will also be labeling the remotes for easier use.-Our condo offers a downstairs main bedroom and an upstairs loft with a queen-size bed. Both beds are designed for comfort, with the loft bed featuring a queen mattress and a three-inch layer of foam. Many guests, including our family, find the loft bed particularly comfortable due to its comfort and view. We are unsure why a guest with only two people would find the bed too firm when alternative sleeping arrangements are available.-Our property is newly constructed, only three years old, and we are committed to setting our nightly rates fairly and competitively. The pricing reflects the oceanfront location, private beach access, amenities, and the quality of the surrounding area.-Our property maintains a strict no-smoking and no-pets policy to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests.We strive to ensure that every guest enjoys the best possible stay, and we eagerly anticipate hosting many more satisfied guests at this property, as evidenced by our other reviews.
