Welcome to Richter's Garage - A Birdy Vacation Rental

Located in the heart of Boerne near shops, restaurants, and breweries, and a short drive to caves, wineries, and parks. This single-level, 3 bedroom/2 bath home includes a private bunk bed alcove to sleep a total of 8 guests. Catch up on work at the desk in the master bedroom with USB outlets. Entertain your guests in the game room with a pool table, bar, and TV, or spend time under the beautiful oak trees in the fenced backyard around the fire pit. Fire up the gas grill and enjoy your dinner under the covered porch - rain or shine. You are sure to feel right at home at Richter's Garage.

Location was fantastic. Quiet neighborhood with kind neighbors. Great running walking behind the neighborhood. House had what we needed and all slept comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, big point for me.

Great Boerne Location

We had a wonderful stay being walking distance to Main St and all that Boerne has to offer. The house was clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

We surprised my husband’s mom w/a Boerne weekend to celebrate her 80th! The house was perfect…clean, decorated so cute and only minutes from downtown. Would definitely rent again :)

Great Getaway

Golf/Couples Trip

We had the best time staying in the Boerne area! The house was perfect for our needs, and we really enjoyed the amenities. We were able to spend our days out golfing and shopping then come back and relax by the fire pit or play some pool in the garage. The theme of the house was really cool, and we all really enjoyed ourselves during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home for anyone else looking to stay in Boerne!

Awesome time in Boerne!

What a great house and stay! Excellent location - we walked to the downtown area for dinner, which made for a fun family experience. The pool table provided hours of entertainment for our family of 6. Everyone had plenty of space, too. We're so glad we chose this property for our spring break trip to the San Antonio area. I definitely would stay here again!

Ladies Holiday Weekend

Richter’s Garage is a lovely home to stay in if you’re spending time in Boerne. The home is very spacious and located on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. The checkin process was smooth and the checkout process isn’t filled with a long list of “to-do’s” which was appreciated when you’re trying to get on the road. Would definitely book Richter’s Garage again when back in the area.

We really enjoyed the property and the pool room. Very good location with proximity to the shopping district. The only suggestion would be to put grab bars or rubber mat in bathtub got very slippery when showering. Thank you so much!!!

Fun Time

This property is very close to downtown shopping ,restaurants and breweries. We really enjoyed the large tv and the pool table. The mattresses were not comfortable. The blow dryer in the guest bathroom didn’t work. But overall we really liked it.

Spring Break visit with family

We loved everything about this rental! Very roomy and cozy with no clutter. The pool table was great! There was even an extra fridge which helped tremendously! We thought the beds were very comfortable and had plenty of extra blankets. My only suggestion would be a step up in toilet paper. A week of that super thin stuff is hard on your tush. Next time we’ll bring our own. Thanks for a great stay!

Richter Garage stay

We enjoyed our stay in Boerne. The code to access the home didn’t work, so we spent some time contacting Birdy to obtain a temporary access code. We used this code over the 2 days and we’re not given a reason for why the original code didn’t work. Otherwise , we enjoyed the house. It was very comfortable and worked well for our group of 3 ladies. Boerne is a delightful town with plenty of shopping and delicious restaurants. We will return!

Tree branch caused 8000 in damages to our car

We booked this house for a family wedding. On the day of the wedding, a large tree branch fell on our car. We were parked in the driveway. The property manager was notified but was not helpful at all. The neighbors were kind enough to help us remove the branch. We tried to get help from the manager but were told to just “turn it in to your insurance company“. He was very rude and didn’t bother to ask if anyone was hurt. Our car had 8000 in damages and he wouldn’t even help with our 500 deductible. So buyer beware. ius remove the branch.

Great little home!

Great stay even extra beds this year. Second year in row we’ve stayed here to host a small holiday dinner and have my mom be able to come from Morningside to keep our family traditions. Comfortable and very close to main strip of Boerne. Hope to be here again next year !
